Worst cable service ever. The picture is always in and out, or pausing, or blurry. The only thing worse is there customer service. And it didn’t get any better under AT&T. They are rude pieces of shit! My contract is over in a month and I will not allow renew. I will also have them removed from all of my rental properties. Assholes

I absolutely hate the cable company we have. Left DIrectv when I moved to switched to TWC. The worst decision I ever made. So I decided to go back to Directv. Went online and you cannot order online any more if you had service previously. So i called in and asked for a quote for service. I also asked for internet bundle. After going through adjusting address and all i get asked for my SS number to see if I qualify for service. I said that I had not been given a quote fore the service yet, but the stated they needed my social to see if I qualify for the rates they have. I refused. Even for a cell contract, you can get pricing before you get a credit check. That information you do not need to offer a price. I used to love Directv, but now under AT&T, I pass. I will give Dish a call!!!

My experience/nightmare with Direct TV I am on disability and was looking to save money by switching to Direct TV. They quoted me an exceptional price so I called back 3 times and spoke to 3 different people to make sure it was correct. When the first bill arrived it was more than twice what was quoted. They had partnered with AT&T and neither was willing to make the price offered, good-so I cancelled both Direct TV and AT&T. They both lost my business. Their installer did a particularly sloppy job. Put the dish up crooked, excessive amounts of wire everywhere, holes in my siding(I was never given an option as to where«I» wanted the dish installed), complete waste of My time and MY effort, and extremely lousy reception. I went up to the drug store and got a $ 15 rabbit ears antenna so I would at least have one TV I could watch. It was summer and good weather, so they could not blame the bad reception on that. A senior installer came to try and resolve the problems(more of my time wasted). He told me the original installer did a bad job installing-I already guessed that, and he tried to correct things. I had already called my old cable company to reconnect-did not need this aggravation/stress that Direct TV was causing. I have my health to consider. Since I am disabled, TV is a large part of my life because I don’t get around well. I need a system I can rely on and it certainly is NOT Direct TV. I sent Direct TV a bill for my charges. Someone to take down their unsightly equipment, repair holes in siding etc. They have not paid this bill. They have sent me a bill SEVERAL times to pay for their lousy service. Quite telling, they want the customer to pay their bill, but Direct TV won’t pay their own bills. Direct TV is an embarrassment to the industry. They don’t appreciate customers or value having jobs. They don’t honor their word either in pricing or reception. I am sure the FCC will want to keep a close eye on these folks as consumers deserve better.

After refusing to pay an small charge of $ 22, which was for eroneous billing DIRECTTV found an old checking account number of my ex-wife’s and processed the charge. I had written them a letter on hard copy, explaining and had responded to their phone calls, some of which were made during evening hours. I only wish that they had been able tocharge me directly so I could take legal action against them. This is a small amount of money, incorrectly billed, but the principle of the matter shows how they condut their business.

How does a company like this stay in business? They lie to their customers, the don’t deliver on their services, and then they won’t uninstall their ugly dish. What ever you do do not get service from DirectTV it is a total scam! They will try to lie to you just so you order and then you won’t get what they sold you. I spent five hours on the phone with them in the last week and all I get is a ‘get lost’ from their entire staff! SCAMSCAMSCAM!
