Dudes I went to high school with own this joint. In the the 90s there was a TRIPLE MALT 40 WITH GINSING call Phat Boy (google that shit)…they used to order em by the case for me. Miss those days. ;)

As my local corner store, I went here many times in my youth for something or another, usually ice cream treats. :)
Their beer selection is a better than the average hole-​in-​the wall convenience store/​bodega. There’s great lakes [usually at least 3 kinds], Hoegarden, Guinness, St. Pauli’s, plus tons of domestics and the usual varied 40 oz selection.
The guys behind the counter are always in a good mood although the store closes early, around 10ish.
If you’re in Old Brooklyn and need to pick up some beer but don’t want to deal with the crowds at Giant (B)Eagle, (Sprawl)Wal-Mart, or Target, you could end up here or the State rd. liquor store.
