My usual hairdresser had to bail last minute due to a family emergency, but I cold called and was able to get in last Saturday at Honeycomb with Casi. I wanted a dramatic, blonde pixie with bright color, and am very particular. Casi was professional and did exactly what I wanted, giving me the perfect haircut that is edgy, and also, minding my corporate job. The quality of work is good, the cut is good, the color and the blonde I wanted is on point(I came from light brown). I will be going back.

Casi is great! I was looking for a new hairstylist and I wanted a huge dramatic change. From long to a pixie cut in the hands of a stranger? The minute I saw Casi I knew my hair was in good hands. Edgy and modern yet sophisticated and classy. I love my new pixie!

I love this place! I live in NYC but always save my haircut and highlight for when I come home to Cleveland and Erin can do it. She’s amazing and does a perfect job.

Locally owned, hip, spot with poignant stylists who produce beautiful hair each and every time. I am glad that the veteran stylists /owners opened their own spot in such a fab neighborhood. The space has a modern /nyc art gallery feel while being very homey and comfortable. prices are competitive. Great selection of hair product that I love, Aquage, for example.

I got a bad haircut from another salon and was trying to grow it out. Tired of bad hair days, I went to Honeycomb, and within 2 minutes of being in the chair, Joey told me what was bad about my haircut and what she could do to fix it. She suggested a certain color as well, and since I’m open to try anything, I agreed. LOVE! I have a fabulous cut, wonderful color, and hair that is stylish and easy to handle! Will I be back? Of course! This is a great place. A salon that gives you a glass of wine? Sign me up!

Okay, sure… I realize the business has just opened up(sort of… they’ve been quietly open for a while), but I can assure all of you that this is a great place to go, because I’ve been getting my hairs cut by one of the partners here for about 2 years now. The prices are phenominal, given how skilled the people are in this joint. I was invited to the grand opening party here. It’s always nice to hear from Erin, so I was more than glad to drop by to see the new space. It’s awesome. It’s located in Gordon Square, in the old offices of the Near West Theatre, which means that you can enter from the street or from inside the arcade. This is really handy given the crazy/rainy/snowy weather around here… even if you have to park on the next block, it’s only a 15 – 20 second walk until you’re inside. A very good idea. I have heard and read that they are going to eventually offer additional services such as manicures, but all you need to know for the moment is that both Erin and her partner are excellent stylists that will make you look good enough to wear those duds you just purchased from Turnstyle or Yellowcake(both are a 5-second walk from here). So…it appears that Gordon Square is trying to trump both Ohio City and Tremont in one fell swoop. Cleveland Public Theatre, Capitol Theatre, Near West Theatre(coming soon), Luxe, Gypsy Bean, XYZ, Stone Mad, Sweet Moses, Yellowcake, Duo Home and now Honeycomb Salon. All within 1 – 2 blocks. To sum it up, go here, you can’t possibly go wrong, they are talented, kind and wonderful people, who live locally and are investing in our great city.
