Shot In The dark

Second year in a row running shot in the dark. It’s put on by Hermes Cleveland, who typically do a great job. 4 mile race with the option to do a two person 2 mile relay or 2 mile course option. Last year was awesome weather. This year, different story.
Parking: lots or street parking depending on how early you get there. Plan accordingly
Registration: do it online or else it’s $ 40 day of. Can be hard to find if it’s raining as they take cover
Start/​Finish: around the Q
Course: relatively flat, well marked with mile markers and timers. Water stations at miles 1.5 and right before mile 3. Downside is if walkers get towards the front of the line
Weather: nice in 2013. This year, overcast and it started thundering and lighting just prior to the race. I was upset actually that Hermes started the race with thunder/​lightning going on, as other sporting events would most likely delay. Poured down rain this year, which killed my phone
