From the outside, it was recently renovated and had a large pastel-colored sign above its door. There’s a few windows in the front allowing you to look in and I was intrigued. Near the front, there were several 2 seat pastel-colored tables going with this ‘candy’ motif. Christmas-like lights hanging above the ceiling in a variety of colors. Whoever owned this, dropped a bit of cash and made effort to make it look presentable. It was closed when I stopped by this first time. I did a quick search on Unilocal — found no information about this place, I was intrigued and knew nothing else about it before coming here. So, what else to but go here on a Friday night at 6−7ish, and find out ! The place was absolutely dead. During my half hour/hour visit there, I was the only one besides a male barback and the female bartender who spent a bit of time flirting. TOP40 rap and RnB blared in the background. The bar menu wasn’t anything special. A few drafts, a few bottles. My redstripe was $ 4. They were heavily advertising bottles of hennessy(for 250 or so). Bartender, not the friendliest(hence, I knock it down a star to 2) said they didn’t get busy until later in the night, after 11ish. In the middle, lay a larger space for the dance floor and a DJ booth to the side. Several posters for Z 107.9’s sponsored giveaways here. Between the bar and the dance bar, was a wooden table with several 64oz bottles of hand sanitizer… uhh, thanks?!(I checked, it wasn’t lube, which was my first guess). No sticky floors at least! To the back near the bathrooms was a large fishtank, likely 100 – 150 gallon maybe ? If you’re looking for a club to dance to Z107.9DJ’s, well, here’s a place. When you’re out exploring bars, you find gems(ones that you love going to), places that you get the stare down from regulars the moment you want in, and a lot in between that leave a ‘well, I’m glad I tried it and not anything particular where I enjoyed it and want to come back’
