Food was ok. Got a cheeseburger and fries. Burger wasn’t very big for the price. The lady, who I assume is the owner, was very rude to her employees. She was walking around yelling at them about closing the ice chest. I mean I understand if she has been telling them to make sure to close it but the way she spoke to them was very rude. I doubt I’ll go bank

I absolutely love eating at the Spot. The food is delicious. The service feels like family. I always feel like I’m in some small town diner with great history and food. Oh wait… that’s because I am in a small town diner with great history and food. Try this place… it’s fantastic.

Love this place. Old dinner feel, great food, and the original«frosty»; what’s not to love?

Positives were: 1. History. Love supporting the small family businesses. 2. Hamburger. Great. 3. Service from the server. Negatives: 1. Only one person running the cashier and also the only person making shakes. A line of us waited a long time to pay. Seems like they should work something else out to make this work better? 2. I think a limited menu during the cars cruise time. Mainly hamburgers, hotdogs, and BLTs.

Well, pretty good cheeseburger and French fries. I stopped here for lunch and it filled me up. My coke got low at one point and had to ask for a refill. Now, there were other customers in here and I heard them saying their onion rings are good. They even gave another customer a sample out of their plate and he enjoyed it. It was kind of hard trying to find a parking place but I was lucky the second time around going down the street in front as some body was leaving. It looks like a restaurant from the 60’s or 50’s. The decorations are from that era and way. Including the pictures on the wall are on up into the 70’s.

This place is pretty neat. It’s been in Cleveland forever. I found this place by accident when I was in town for business. I was trying to find somewhere downtown to eat for lunch, and the Spot appeared. The hot dogs were pretty good. Lots of things in the restaurant for the old days or from previous renovations of The Spot. I feel that it captures the spirit of the downtown area and of Cleveland it’s self. It was a great place to start in Cleveland, I’ll be going back to try some more food.

I stopped in here today because I thought it might be good for a hamburger and I remembered this place existed because I saw a band called actress play upstairs here once. Judging by the 2 other reviews, the hamburgers are good. This was not my experience and I think I’m pretty easy to please. The place is nice. Minimalist 50s décor which i love. Free wifi. Friendly staff. I got a hamburger and tots to go. The burger smelled great and looked good and crisp on the edges. That is where the good ended. The beef was tough and dry. The tomato was mostly hard/bitter and lettuce was a joke. The tots left a chalky feeling in my mouth, perhaps a little too long in the freezer. I don’t know. I wanted this to be good but it wasn’t. I may give them another chance at some point and I believe in second chances and run on sentences.

The Spot had been in the same location for many years, just off the main square. #1 «Spot» for Jurors to go during a trial. Good low cost, home made burgers.
