A very good meat and three. I had the 12 oz burger and it was really good. I thought I ordered tater tots but received onion rings which weren’t too bad. A lot of food for the money. I would come back.

Angela’s is pretty decent, but just barely falls short of being a spectacular restaurant due to cook complacency with«average.» Movie reviews are not like food scores! Three stars isn’t bad! Everything came out as described, and in a timely manner. Chicken-fried steak was modestly sized, the salads were fresh. The prices were also very fair. But I can’t shake the feeling that Angela’s could do better. The skill to cook is clearly there, but without a definitive dish or noteworthy presence absolutely anywhere on the plate, lovely places like this may be doomed to taper off into irrelevance.

Not bad had to wait for it to open but it was good. Don’t know if they had orange juice that day or not.

The food is usually ok. The daily changing menu is nice. Meats and veggies are usually ok. Some of the food is good while some other selections are obviously cheap instant versions. Seasoning is not this places favorite thing to do that is for sure. All that said, my wife and i would still visit this place if it wasn’t for one incident. We ate our meal and go to the register to pay for our ticket. Angela, the older lady who owns the place, was ringing us up. She had an issue with the CC machine. After a minute, she had to run my card again. Well I get home that evening, and look on my bank account. I was charged twice. I wasn’t that upset at it, mistakes happen. So I call up there, and Angela had to be one of the most rude people I have had the unpleasure of doing business with. She told me that I was a liar and I was just trying to get a free meal. After printing off my bank statement, I went up there, and lets just say I got my $ 20 back. The rest of the staff is usually decently friendly, though there are a few waitressess who do NOT have the personality to be waiting tables. Final word… if this is the type of food you are looking for, take a ride out 64 and go to Whitewater Grill or go out Harrison Pike to Farmhouse Grill. Both of these locations far, FAR exceed Angela’s. Consider yourself warned!

It is great if you like school cafeteria food. The breakfast is ok. The burgers and philly cheese steak is good, But the plate of food like special or dinner plates are horrible. School food might be better. Dry and tasteless. Service is good, place is clean but cook needs to get a different job. Hire a better cook. Oh and they remodeled, so we are paying for that remodel with the price increases on the food.

I haven’t been here in quite some time but I can recall my last visit. I had ordered a pulled pork stuffed baked potato that was like $ 8 or so. When I received it I was shocked by how small it was and the little bit of toppings that came with it. I even had to ask for sour cream which the menu said was already on it. I wouldn’t be so disappointed if I didn’t know that I could get a bbq pork potato that was 3x the size and the same price at Shane’s Rib Shack. Service was adequate for them being so very busy. I can see the appeal for being in the south. These country people love some country slop and that’s exactly what they serve here! Pretty plain and basic food for the price. Save yourself the trouble and cook at home.

Kind of disappointing after seeing the positive reviews. The location off of APD40 looks more like a double wide mobile home inside than a country restaurant but is clean. Excellent service from the time I walked in. Very quick to get drinks, take order and follow up throughout my visit. I decided to give the meatloaf a try and wished I tried another. Meatloaf was dry and bland. Nothing special at all and would never try again. Other items look promising so will give them another chance on next visit. Mashed potatoes were very good but not a fan of the squash either. Great sweet tea though. The breakfast menu looks very good and considering the number of cars here each morning is certainly worth a visit. I’m hoping my next visit gets a 4star update

This is one of our favorite restaurants to eat at. They have a daily special menu and a menu you can order the normal burgers, sandwiches & fries from. On the daily menu. They have a choice between usually 3 – 4 meat items &8 – 10 veggies. The menu changes each day with some items appearing more than 1 time a week. We have never received a bad meal. The near plus 2 veggies and a roll/cornbread is $ 4.99 Mon — Thurs & $ 5.99 Fri — Sun. They give you generous portions too. This is a Christian, family owned and operated restaurant. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.

Mostly good home style cooking with a small town flavor. Positives. Friendly, good service. Looks clean. Not as positive: Daughter ordered a medium well steak. Came out very well done and tought/dry. Coffee was okay… not great. Sides were good. Liked the onion rings and mashed potatoes. Liked the green beans. Liked the dinner roll. 3 stars and one extra because the 3 vegetable plate is under $ 4. That is a deal. And because of good service. I do not recommend the steak though.

I really enjoy this restaurant. It’s rather crowded on Sundays and the parking lot isn’t large enough to accommodate the inevitable throng of people that will flock to this place after their Sunday morning services. The crowd is usually older. I love that breakfast is served all day! The food is simply delicious and the service is good, too. I love the generous portion sizes. The desserts deserve a special mention as well. It feels like someone actually made the food here and not some factory off in another state. I love eating here when I get the chance. It’s not a chain restaurant and I really enjoy that. The service is always nice enough that I don’t feel like I’m just another quick profit for the owners. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants some good southern country cooking.

This is my favorite non chain country restaurant. You can get a meat and two vegetables for $ 5 or just 3 vegetables for $ 4. I like to eat here for lunch during the work week. Their sweet tea is great and you can get a roll and a cornbread with your meal. Try it they are nice too with great service as they will take care of you.
