Love the place! We threw a party there last Saturday and it was one of the best nights I had here in Cleveland. Also our server Stephanie Bomba was amazing… And cute

The later it gets, the more dangerous the crowd becomes. Music turns into some sort of rap/hip hop I’ve never heard before. Ordered a Cosmo and it tasted like cough syrup. Visited here a few times and always had the same experience. Will not return.

Back in September, I brought a group of women to downtown Cleveland for my Mother in laws 60th birthday. You might ask why this is relevant? During our trip, we picked one night where we went out bar hopping and gave my Mother in law a list of tasks she had to accomplish. Our first stop after dinner was to the Metropolitan. We really liked the lobby and wanted to get a picture together all dressed up. The girl working the front desk offered right away to take our picture. There were about 12 of us, and I would say we gave that poor girl around 6 cameras to take pictures with. She assured us it was no problem and had a smile on her face the whole time. We went up to Azure and were greeted right away and got seated in a few couches right in the front. Our cocktail waitress had a smile on her face the entire night and was so friendly. A gentleman named Frank Soltysiak came over to our group and tried his best to help my mother in law achieve everything she had on her list. He was so kind, and really helpful in sharing knowledge of the city and places to go. He insisted before we leave that we get a quick tour of The Vault. We agreed and ended up staying there for the rest of the night! Being from Pittsburgh and not knowing anyone or the city life that Cleveland had to offer, I can not express our gratitude to your staff for making us feel like we were at home. From Louis the security guard to your bartenders and especially to Frank. He went above and beyond to make our evening the best it could be. I worked in the restaurant/bar scene for over 5 years and to have a staff of that caliber with the customer service skills that these folks possess, is really special. Please pass on our gratitude for a great night at the Metropolitan! Your entire staff from the front desk, to security to your management… what an A+ team you have and we will highly recommend this to all of our friends.

The Vault is located in the basement of The 9/Metropolitan Hotel. I have visited The 9’s other bar this past summer, Azure Rooftop, and didn’t have a great experience with bottle service. While I didn’t do bottle service at the Vault so the comparison isn’t exactly apples to apples, I had a great night in the Vault. Once you find your way to the Vault(all the way in the back — straight in from the main doors on 9th St — then down) through a bit of a maze, the first thing that wows you, even along the maze, is the décor and the attention to detail of decorating and accenting the space. There really isn’t a space left untouched. Every nook and cranny has something awesome whether it be art, a mirror, a couch or some neat light fixture. The Vault really went all out in creating a cozy, mix-use space. The place was packed when I went there for an event, but the bar was well staffed, and the wait for a drink was really not unreasonable at all. Drink specials for the evening were reasonably priced at $ 8(Moscow Mule /Manhattans) and the former were made rather strong. All in all a great experience. I would definitely like to go back on perhaps a quieter night and enjoy the Vault again. Even though it was busy when I went, I was still able to find an empty bench in a curtained alcove and get out of the main busy areas.

Much bigger inside the it seems, beautiful decorations and great music. Looks like a mansion inside with VIP Rooms styled as little lounges similar to a library in a home.

Last night the workers at Vault were very helpful in not only retrieving my friend’s misplaced jacket(by Jamie and Brandon) but the bouncers were really quick to intervene when my friend and I were being bothered by some rude men, I believe the bouncers were bobby and Elton. Great crew guys!

The Vault held a wedding, so we didn’t go there. Instead, we went up to Ledges. It’s a small open bar with stools and leather chairs(and bathrooms), which our group thoroughly enjoyed.

They have pretty terrible cocktails but let’s face it… This isn’t a place you go to for cocktails. They have mixed drinks and beer. Awesome music though, good amount of people, and super cool venue. Check it out for sure.

I had the best time at The Vault. The DJ was off the hook. The cocktail waitress and bartenders were gorgeous. I highly recommend getting bottle service. My server Nina was fantastic. She poured the best cocktails for us. We added this berry and champagne cocktail for like $ 35 and nine came over with a bottle of champagne and did something with the vodka and berries and such. No idea, all I know is the girls loves it. If you haven’t checked it out you should.

Been here two times and loved it both times! The drinks are really good, the crowd is fun, young professional, so I’ve yet to encounter a West 6th crowd element here. Both times, it was full enough to feel like a bar, but not so packed that you couldn’t move. I look forward to going back again!

Worst coat check… turned my coat and scarf in, went to pick it up and the girl only gave me a coat back! Your only job is to keep track of my things! My advice is to not bring your nice things there!

If you haven’e experienced the Vault yet, get on it! Get your fancy/party attire on and head to the Vault for a flashback to 1929. This bar is a former bank vault and definitely has a speak-easy style. The atmosphere is so vintage with the elaborate décor and lounge seating style. You will get lost in the Vault. No seriously this place is like a maze with so many authentic rooms and areas to explore. It’s so much fun! I went with a group of friends on a Friday night and there was a decent crowd — not too crowded but not too empty. It was perfect! The cocktails were delicious(although a bit pricey) and the music was on point. We danced for hours, met new people and took one too many selfies in their luxurious lounge chairs! It’s so much fun. I’m planning on buying tickets to their New Years Eve party and I’m beyond excited!
