We saw a sign for pupusas and since we LOVE them, we stopped in a couple of years ago on a run across state we make to bring my daughter to a friend in Wellington. Now we have been told by my daughter we may NOT stop on the way to pick her up but must do so on the return trip so she can get her pupusa fix. They are delicious. I had the hot (spicy) shrimp last time and they were really delicious. We’ve never had a bad meal. The place is not beautiful and the bathrooms, outside, are not great, but we are fans anyhow. The staff are polite and the food has never failed us.

This is a bit of authentic, Mexican Cuisine in the Everglades. The guacamole was fresh and spicy. I had the spicy shrimp. The food was fresh and made to order. The shrimp had spice, but wasn’t spicy-​hot.
The décor is rustic and the music was loud. But it’s what you expect for a dive.
