When it comes to Greek Food this is the go to place. The original Greek To Me from all the other ones. Fresh quality food and attentive service. Dont be fooled by what others may say this is the original location with great food.

I ordered a delivery. The food was cold and the meat smelled bad. I will never again order from them.

There is NO DENYING this food is amazing! And this location never disappoints. The service is good and the food is the best around. Georgia, the owner, is super friendly and always tries to accommodate everyone. My fiancé and I had dinner here one night when the power suddenly went out in the Cliffside/​Ridgefield area. Luckily we already had our food but she was kind enough to offer every guest a free dessert. It may be pricy but if you have tried other places you know it is worth the price. Also, the gentleman in the kitchen, Said I believe, has been there for many many years. He knows what he is doing!

WONDERFUL lunch today! Everything was terrific. .the food, service and the new ambiance! The owner makes you feel like you are eating in her home. Food is always tasty and arrives hot to the table.
One can tell that this is a family operation and the owner cars as much about her business as get employees. great to see!

I fine family style restaurant with a take all attire, children friendly and fantastic food. B een here at least 6 times and home delivery almost bi-​weekly, the food is always delivered hot, and stays hit throughout the meal, Not sure how they do it, but it’s great,
have tried many many dishes and have not been disappointed once, from gyros to oso buco, all great tasting.
the wait staff is cordial, fast and helpful. Parking leaves a little to be desired, but street parking is usually available. A keeper.

definitely can’t deny that this place, which is literally a walking distance from me, makes a really good Gyro & greek fries. definitely worth the price. place looks a little small on the inside, but still very nice.

Great food, cozy place! The only problem is the prices, they’re a bit on the high side but not crazy enough that I wont eat there. The food is always fresh so I guess you get what you pay for.

Good Greek food. The owner is very nice and friendly. Go on a weekday at dinner and it should not be too crowded. The pork chops are only on the ‘specials’ board sometimes but if you ask nicely, they might make it for you. I like the small and cozy feel of the place… Parking is limited.

Great food. Clean facility. Friendly staff. Owner is great! I love their zuchinni balls and fried cheese appetizer. The souvlaki platter is yummy as well.

I enjoy this place. Food is satisfying. I get the Gyros, Hummus & Greek Salad.

First I would like to start off by saying that I only gave this two stars since my salad was good. That was the only good part of my lunch. I ordered a Greek salad with lamb souvlaki and the fried eggplant. I do not know where to begin! The salad and the souvlaki was good. This deal should definitely not have cost $ 30! And I don’t know what I got sick from but I do know that after eating this food I got a stomach ache for two days. I’m not sure if the cook left but this food is not up to par. The fried eggplant is not how it used to be, it used to be lightly fried with a light batter, this was deep fried eggplant. They stop serving the garlic dip and instead only give you tzatziki sauce. I have been there a bunch of times, the time, before they were extremely rude but I was in the mood for Greek food so I gave it another go. That will be the last time I go back to this facility. Try Vasillis, great customer service and awesome owners. Please note the only reason why I didn’t go to this facility is because they did not deliver at that time.

Amazing food! I dont’usually get to eat there I have it delivered to my office but it always gets here fresh, great lunch specials LOVE the greek fries and gyros!

The food is solid and we like the older gentleman that greets/​seats you when you walk in. He is brisk, but efficient and runs the place well. We go there quite a bit and notice that service is not as tight when he isn’t there so I am assuming he is the owner.
They have a small parking lot and we haven’t had any problems finding a spot in there, but I think we tend to do for late lunches so not sure if we are missing the bustle.
We love the lunch specials… the gyros are great, spinach pie very tasty and we really enjoy the salads. My husband always gets the lemon chicken soup to start and actually craves it sometimes. Simple, clean favors. Thumbs up!

Forget the stereotypes– THIS Turk LOVES this Greek to me! It’s my favorite one for the gyro wrap. Mmm everything is fresh and tastes good. Also, the dolmades… I can eat them all day :))

Amazing food and atmosphere-​very welcoming. Always order greek salad with gyro meat. Fried zucchini with skordalia is delicious. Tried the saganaki (baked cheese) today-​outstanding. Every dish is a treat.

very expensive a big pita bread with lots of lettuce and tomatoes and four small chunks of chicken the best part was the sauce it’s really not worth it save your money only friendly to their own kind

I have been coming to this It’s Greek to Me since the early 90’s — they are my favorite location with the BEST food.
I gave it 1 star because of the new ownership. They have raised their prices dramatically over the past year. and have changed their ways with the menu and how they make the food. They refuse to «chop» the greek salad anymore (which is a frequent request from all customers) I am SO disappointed that I have to write this review.
RIP Cliffside location. best of luck to you & hope you learn how to run your new business and keep all your old customers

Usually have the octopus and grilled zucchini, always tender, never chewy. Healthy portion sizes for the price.
The place itself is really small and feels claustrophobic when it’s busy but I mean good food is good food. When its packed inside I usually just order my meals to go.

Stopped in and their gyro was amazing! Every ingredient was fresh. Most gyros are wrapped in foil but here they put it in a nice styrofoam container. Place has been around for 26 years but looked like they just renovated it.
