Precise Barber Shop

I want to thank Mr. Christian J. of Precise Barber Shop; the Business Owner; for reading my review and commenting. It is very important to me that management and/​or ownership responds to good reviews, as well as reviews with opportunities.
I was going to address each point made by Mr Christian J in detail. I thought about this for a few days now and I feel this would be counter productive. Conflict resolution is a process where open dialogue and facts are used to come to an understanding or agreement.
With this said; the following is the «Mission Statement» of Precise Barber Shop:
«We are a barbershop who strives to make the costumers experience the best possible. Our professionalism is exceptional and outstanding above others.»
This statement comes from their Unilocal page under «Learn More About Precise Barber Shop».
Mr. Christian J, obviously you read my review. I was «Not Happy». At no time did I feel «experience the best possible». I did not get a good hair cut. I was not happy with my hair cut.
This is not my first bad hair cut. I have had many in my lifetime and I will continue to get a bad one from time to time, but at no time did I receive «…professionalism is exceptional and outstanding above others» by you in your response or by the barber who had to notice that I was not happy.
If somebody would have just said «dude sorry. Maybe we can do this or that to fix the issue». Nothing. Just attacks on how I look by you, on my comments I made and that my exaggerations must be lies.
Mr. Christian J you added a second comment; something about coming back and 2 free hair cuts. This comment was sent to me at 11 AM on 10.19. Your first feedback came in at 12:16 AM on the same day. Did you feel something «may be wrong». Obviously, something changed your mind.
Anyway, Mr. Christian J, I am not looking for any compensation. I wish you and your staff to have a striving business. Small businesses are the backbone of our community of Cliffside Park. I am a strong supporter of local business. Feedback is an important part of business; both good and bad.
PS. If you are serious about the two hair cuts. Please give them to a couple of individuals who may be short with funds and need one. Thanks…

2^nd visit: Few same and different experiences this time around.

Joe was on time, he was just finishing up his meal in between. Cordial as the first time around. I just reminded him how i like all of my angles smoothed out and he did just that. Fresh cut from beginning to end. He’s good with scissors, just as the first time around. Maybe i found a home away from home (ny). Get your appointment today!

I was in the area visiting a family member for a wedding. I was due for a haircut and stopped by this barbershop. I didn’t have an appointment but the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great customer service and even a better haircut! Thanks!

Finally found a good barber shop in the neighborhood. Tried all the barbers at least once by now and they’re all good. Appointments can run late sometimes, but they do take their time getting the haircut right for everyone, so I don’t mind being patient. Would definitely recommend.

I went today for haircut with Christian. All I can say is that it was a great haircut done with scissors. I have been receiving great compliments about it all day. Christian is a very professional and very punctual. Actually I arrived early today and he was able to accommodate me right away.

I came here for a cut while I happened to be in the area. I so wish that this ave was closer to where I live, because I would be here every time I need a new fresh look. I just walked in and told the guy (I wish I remembered his name) that unwanted a fresh new look, but still maintain the comb over look I rock. He surprised me with a nice cut. I’ve gotten tons of compliments in the cut and shave! Excellent place!

Great barbershop, been a loyal customer since it opened. Place is clean, has comfortable chairs, nice tv’s, good barbershop talk and most importantly it has some of the best barbers in the area. Quick and easy appointments, there’s always someone who will take care of you. Highly recommend !

I’ve been coming to this shop for over six years and I’ve never had a bad haircut. Great atmosphere, great prices, and they even take credit cards. My regular barber Chris, is very punctual and very accommodating. He even came a few times on his day off to give me a haircut before any special events. Highly recommend this barber shop.

When I moved back from Washington I thought I was going to have a hard time finding a barber in the area, but luckily I came across this place on Unilocal.I’ve been getting my haircut here ever since I read the reviews and I can say every barber cuts great. Fresh cuts by great people. Best find since I moved back into the neighborhood!

Not very good with the appointments. Nice haircuts but I like when people respect my time. I was going here for a while and wrote a good review but I had to update it. Several times I had to wait half hour after my appointment time or I schedule something early and the place is closed.

Cool b-​shop! Walked in and got a haircut with no appt. It’s clean and the barbers were cool. I think I got a new spot!

They’ve set a high standard in this local barber shop. They pay attention to detail and send you out of there looking clean cut and well groomed. The shop itself is clean, new, modern and professional looking. There’s usually something entertaining on both of their flat screens. The barbers in there are friendly and humorous. Once they get your style down, they have it down. I am in the Army so grooming standards are very important. My ½ cut, mid fade with a scissor trim on top is always to the Army standard thanks to guys at Precise. They are also very reasonably priced. Typically $ 20 for the full service.

I’ve been coming here for a while now and I will probably never go anywhere else. Chris is an excellent barber who takes his time and seems to enjoy what he does. All the guys at the shop are laid back and cool… No negative vibes here. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great cut.

I took my son here for a cut. I didn’t have an appointment and they took us with no more than a 10 min wait. The barber Chris was very friendly, he offered to put the TV to a show for my son while he cut him. My son loved his hair and the price and service were excellent. We are now regulars!

All the guys here do solid work so you could get your fresh cut in just before the weekend
They don’t take walk ins (or don’t like to) so make sure you call ahead of time to schedule an appointment
