Disappointing… and I was hoping to like it because I enjoyed the BBQ place that was there before. The service was friendly but the bbq was bland. Similar to what another reviewer said, I walked in at lunch time and it was dark inside except for the TV and you smell no food coking and the grill is not on. I think they boil the food with no seasoning and then put BBQ sauce on it and warm it on a section of the grill. Maybe the grill is broke? The BBQ sauce on the outside of the meat was tasty but the meat inside was very bland. The Menudo was pretty good although I found a hair(I cant say for sure it wasnt mine but…) I would not recommend this place right now. Maybe I’ll try again in a few months to see if they improved but if I walk in and the grill is not going and the place doesnt smell like BBQ… I’m out!

No stars for this place. I walked in for lunch. The woman who seemed to be the owner was watching TV and ignored me for the first 5 minutes. After i made some noise by rattling the paper menu, she yelled to someone in the back. No other people in the place. The girl screamed back to the owner«God, can’t I go to the bathroom?» Major turn off. Eventually the girl made it behind the counter, the owner continued to watch her show on TV. I ordered BBQ pork skewers. The bathroom girl advised it would take 10 minutes as they cook to order. It was really strange that there was no food to be seen in the whole place. All of the grills were off and no smell of food at all. This was around 1pm. Very strange. This was the first time I entered a restaurant and it smelled sterile like a hospital. The bigger concern is that they were going to cook bbq pork skewers in 10 minutes? I don’t think they have a clue on how to run a restaurant. Needless to say I walked out never to return. Highly NOT Recommended.

Whole bbq chicken, good. Rice, good. Service, nice but a bit slow. I passed by this place quite a few times and finally decided to give it a try. Inside is not impressive. They do have seats, but it seems that most people order take-out. The location is not easy to spot from 35(impossible to see going north-bound), also the lack of the left turn from 35 north bound is going to be a headache(go to following light for U-Turn). But the whole bbq chicken was surprisingly good, flavored, and tender. It was slightly under-cooked in the center which works out great for me since it won’t overcook when I reheat it as a another meal for the next day. I’ll try it again to see if it is consistent. I also want to try the ribs.
