This Cracker Barrel was a total let down. The service was down right horrible. We ordered drinks and our meals. Literally received everything including the check together 45 minutes latter. The turkey special one person in our my party ordered literally the food was floating in the gravy. The waitress helping us never checked on us about our meals or if we needed refills on our drinks. We had to ask other waitress for help. We even had to ask to order dessert due the check being delivered early. One person ordered a piece Coca Cola chocolate cake received a brownie of some sort. When question the waitress argued with the person in party. When the manager was requested it took approximately 20 minutes for him to arrive. Who continued to argue that it wasn’t brownie eventually he did remove the brownie from the check. We will not be back to this location Cracker Barrel you need to fix this store to the standards of other stores.

I come to this location often for breakfast, never disappoints. Amazing prices for a whole ton of food. I love Cracker Barrel. Had the Sunday special fried chicken for the first time and it was AMAZING! Terrible for you I’m sure but SOOOO good. I usually mainly go there for breakfast but after that I’ll definitely be back for dinner more often! I do have to say the wait staff isn’t always the most attentive, depends on who you get, the ones I see in there often are great but I’ve also had some crappy ones, I’ve had both kinds, a few that seem to forget you exist and never check on you and I’ve had one that hovered SUPER awkwardly, and blankly stared after we answered whatever it is she asked is at the time. But the food and prices make up for it which is why i still have it 5 stars.

This is my little secret. I love the Cracker Barrel. Their wait staff is incredibly friendly. The breakfast here is decadent. Smoked sausage is fantastic and you get about 10,000 calories for $ 10. I dare you to not enjoy it. Sure it is tacky and uncool, but they know how to put gravy on chicken and fry an egg and the biscuits are some of the best you can get. I have no qualms when I come here that I will be indulging in butter, gravy, biscuits and conversations. Great place for children if you have them. Not the healthiest place, but it is friendly and delicious. They seem to treat their staff well, with benefits and 401K and so on, which is nice to know.

Awesome place… clean, friendly, huge menu of delicious food. Reasonable price, and just awesome atmosphere l, if you have never been this place is great, worth the 35 min drive for me once a week.

My wife and I stopped for breakfast. She ordered the oatmeal with crispy bacon and I had two poached eggs, sausage and home fries. Waiter was attentive, very friendly and gave us excellent service. My wife loved the oatmeal and bacon. Check out was quick and simple.

Stopped for a great breakfast on our way to Vermont. Kitchen service was a little slow, but our waitress was very attentive to our needs. Always a wonderful place to enjoy a good country meal on the road.

Wow talk about disappointment. Just for a little background on myself I LOVECRACKERBARREL like fuckin jump for joy when I find out were going there. This location really just killed my experience. We walked in put our name in at the counter and were told it would be 15 mins for our table. No problem we started to look around the store and I found two items I wanted to purchase and the manager told me to leave it with the girls at the counter and you can pay for it with your bill. No problem I handed my two items to one of the counter girls and our table was ready. We were seated in the back section and looked over the menus. I had never had breakfast here so I decided to skip my usual country fried chicken and go for pancakes with strawberries, two eggs over easy, bacon and sausage oh and my extra cheesy grits. My friend ordered the french toast. Our drinks came out and it seemed that was the last we were going to see of our waitress. People came in and were seated after us and got their food before us even though we sat there for an hour with the manager in a bright purple button down seeming to come check on every table but ours in the 45 mins we were sitting ducks. Finally our food came out after 45 mins and was clearly a forgotten order being it was thrown together in seconds or that’s just how it looked when it arrived. When our waitress came back to our table with the food I looked at her and said did you forget about us? She didn’t have an explanation. We ate were disappointed and went to pay our bill. We waited in the huge ass line and just as I finally reached the counter low and behold my items were no longer behind the counter waiting for me. I was beyond aggravated at this point left the line grabbed my items which I only got one because I didn’t want to hold up the line any more than I was already. Overall just very dissapointing.

It amazes me how busy this place is in spite of their very average quality food. I’ve visited this place for breakfast several times and always come away wondering why I bother returning. It isn’t that the food is bad, it just isn’t good. My last visit, two weeks ago, I promised myself never again. Hard biscuits, watery grits, weak coffee, and the saw mill gravy was like an lab experiment gone wrong. The pancakes were good, but then again, it’s really hard to screw up pancakes. Ya know? Don’t waste your time and money. There’s better out there.

Had lunch/dinner with 8 people including my self and over all really wasn’t bad all. Waitress could have been alittle more attentive. Bill only came out to just shy of $ 100. Which is pretty good for 8 people. Have no real complaints or bad comments.

I love the consistently good comfort food that Cracker Barrel offers. It’s highly affordable, big portions and the staff is always super friendly. THEDEAL: they bring fresh made biscuits and cornbread muffins with your meal. Homemade breakfast is offered all day too!

So maybe this place was so hyped up that I expected much more. Regardless, still thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back for some more. On our way up to Vermont, we stopped by for a quick dinner. I can never say no to breakfast at dinner, so I had the blueberry pancakes and he had the roast beef. My pancakes were huge and so fluffy and the blueberries were fresh. Needless to say, so good! His roast beef was so tender and flavorful, you get more than your moneys worth with this dish. We had an amazing meal for a fraction of the cost you’d expect to pay. The food is good, portions are huge and the price tag is miniscule. Service was fantastic and food came out quick. Nothing bad to say about this place, so stop on by!

Summary– Much worse than I remembered it being, just overall flavorless slop. Food– 1 star Yogurt parfait was advertised as fresh fruit but was clearly frozen strawberry mush when it arrived. Eggs over easy needed salt and one was slightly undercooked, hash brown casserole was barely warm and hard on the outside, sausage gravy was also not hot. Not a single thing that came with my meal was actually good. Service– 2 Stars When we sent back the Yogurt Parfait the waitress had no idea how to react. The line to checkout was ridiculously slow. Atmosphere– 2 Stars It’s a Cracker Barrel, kitschy shit on the walls and a store full of trashy junk. Value– 1 Star The food has to be good to provide value.

It’s just like grandma’s house! That is, if grandma collected junk manufactured by exploited Vietnamese labor earning 52 cents an hour, she didn’t clean her bathrooms and entertained an endless stream of obese visitors. My family loves these places but I find them so depressing that I generally hang out in the parking lot with the dog. Occasionally they will return with a biscuit(which are quite good) then I’ll run the souvenir-gauntlet to use the bathroom… and wish I didn’t. Apparently the food creates such a mass gastric incident that it overwhelms the ability of contemporary plumbing to manage it. So, a star for the parking lot, biscuits and the always-courteous staff. And a star on behalf of the rest of my family. Finally, a wish upon those stars that places like this represent the nadir of civilization and it finally improves from here!

Call me a ‘newbie’ but I recently had an epiphany and visited my first Cracker Barrel restaurant. Cracker Barrel regulars tell me every establishment has the exact same set up and vibe. We arrived with a large group(11 in total) at 11:30am and were seated quickly and efficiently. Breakfast is available at all hours, the lunch/dinner was also available. Their menu is EXPANSIVE with something to satisfy all tastes. For the price, I’m not sure any diner or other similar restaurant can equal the value /quality offered by Cracker Barrel. When doing a road trip, I won’t pass another Cracker Barrel sign without stopping. Good value, good service, good quality /tasty food. If your table isn’t immediately ready sit out front in a wooden rocker and relax, you’ll be called and have a satisfied belly shortly.

Well, the server came up to the table and started the conversation with«Hey Ladies!». I was with my boyfriend. Lucky for the server, he was just the guy who brought the food out and not the actual waitstaff. If he had been our waiter, I’m pretty sure we wouldn’t have tipped at all. As far as the food, it was very meh and average. I’ve been here before a few times and never been overly impressed with the service or the food quality. The biggest plus is that they have real maple syrup. Today I asked for eggs over easy, they were not over easy and for white toast lightly toasted, and my toast ended up coming out black.

I can’t get enough of Cracker Barrel. It’s one of those guilty pleasures when you are on the road. Every Cracker Barrel is identical. You know what you’re in for and it’s always the same. I’ve been a few times and I always get the chicken and dumplings! The service is friendly and the food is almost like eating at grandma’s. Even the plate of food looks suburban, one stop away from a tv dinner. After the meal, I am more than happy to have dessert by way of shopping at the general store. Things I can’t leave Cracker Barrel without buying: 1. Box of Sweet Potato Pancakes: These pancakes are so much better than Betty Crocker and Aunt Jemima. They are sweet and almost taste nutty. 2. Moon Pies: There are a bunch of different flavors. I buy a box of regular chocolate and one banana. I try to give some away as presents but then I end up eating them all by myself. Put in the microwave for a warm treat. 3. Candy: Do you like gummies? Hard candy? Chocolate? I dare you to leave here empty handed. 4. Presents: Cracker Barrel is filled with junk and I can’t help but browse it all. There are some good sales and for someone with unique tastes or a theme room(like beachy or country) this is a good place to add to their décor. Oh, they also have patio furniture and rocking chairs. That’s good for people with houses, not people who live in NYC apartments. Keep the chairs, Cracker Barrel, I’ll take the food.

Normally I try to stay away from chain restaurants but Cracker Barrel has two big draws. Hashbrown Casserole and All day Breakfast. Unfortunately that’s all they really have to offer. Like everywhere else in Clifton Park they are always busy so we had to wait for a table. The menu is a little more diverse than average. And they also offer turkey sausage. Too bad its just frozen jimmy dean patties. Service is decent and the food is ok, but nothing to get excited over. The Country Store also stocks Cheerwine, which is hard to come by this far North.

HUGEFAN of CRACKLEBARREL !!! Size to dollar value is freaking amazing — try the sampler — you get a slice of meatloaf, chicken and dumplings, and choice or country or sugar ham(always get country ham) — plus three sides, biscuit and cornbread. Holy crap, talk abut stuffing yourself silly. Its like a party in your mouth. The staff is friendly, unlimited refills on soda/tea, and the check arrives while you are dining so there is no long wait. You pay at the general store where you enter through. The general store is stocked with goodies from candies, clothing, candles, seasonal treats and grocery goodies from the restaurant you can make at home. Secret: ask for apple butter !!! It will change your life.
