Took a long time to get food but the worse thing was paying $ 3.79 for a plain cup of hot tea! Absolute rip off and the pancakes were only average

My food was great. My wife and a friend’s meals were awful tasting. They double billed us. They tried to give us the whole meal for free. No thanks. We paid

Service was fantastic. Food was amazing, and the price was right. Omelet with chicken and spice and everything nice. Mmm mmm mmm. Location was a short walk to the hotel. Nice day like today. I needed some iHop in my life.

Been here several times before and most of the time the service is Fantastic and friendly, fast and the food is EXCELLENT — this time however it was like eating at a different location. We were seated right away and our server was very nice, came right over my son and I knew right what he wanted. I’m on a very restricted diet at the moment so I only got tea, and he got the brioche french toast well 20 some minutes later the couple at the table next to us was like you still didn’t get your food yet? We noticed the waitress was talking to an elderly man in the corner showing him pictures on her phone, the couple flagged down THEIR waitress and stated — they still don’t have their food. well his food finally comes out and it’s COLD — so they’re all — we’ll refire some for you. My son was hungry and was just wanting to eat what he had. They were going to cook us some new ones anyway(which in hindsight I should have let them so he’d have some extra here at home but I didn’t — as I was hoping they would just take them off the bill — which they did not!) I was not happy at all with how they were going to remedy the situation, his hashbrowns were almost raw and his food was pretty much sitting there a while as his chocolate chips weren’t even melting on the food or the plate. IT’s gonna be a while before we go back there. I should have not left a tip at ALL — but I did — because I wanted to teach my son that everyone has hard days, and that is how waitresses make their money, and it’s how she supports her family and as someone who has waitressesed you never know when that extra $ 2 means milk or no milk

My husband and I went to IHOP because we had gift card that we wanted to use, and we happened to be in Clifton Park early in the day. My husband ordered a combo, eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancakes. I ordered the vegetable omelette with fresh fruit. The food took over 20 minutes to arrive while the place was not busy. He was satisfied with his meal since there was a good amount of food. My meal, however, is another story. I received an Omelette with a few slices of mushrooms, swiss cheese and spinach. The fruit tasted more like canned fruit than fresh. We had one order of coffee and one order of tea. These last two items cost $ 6.00. The reason for the two stars is based mostly on the price. The breakfast came to over $ 28. For $ 28 at Ruby Tuesday we had two meals as follows: a burger, fries and unlimited salad bar. The second dish was Tilapia, a side and unlimited salad bar. And two drinks with refills. When we received our bill there was a receipt offering a free stack if we did the survey. Funny the offer disappeared. All we had was a receipt showing what we had to add to the check after taking away the gift card. I guess the server gives these surveys to her friends. We will not go back mostly because the value for our money is pretty awful.

Place needs a good scrub down pronto, cob webs, crayons and what appears to be boogers on the walls. There are flies every where, if we didn’t order already we would have gotten up and left. Last trip here until building is bull dozed and rebuilt.

Not bad better then Dennys however not impressed with the lemon blueberry pancakes expected the batter to have a hint of lemon instead it’s a hollandaise sauce between the pancake layers n over the top and very sweet ! The eggs were tasty not blah overall an OK breakfast /lunch but nothing to brag about

Well, I said seven months ago that it would likely be another ten years before I ate at IHOP, but it was a special request from a family member so who was I to say no. This visit was at least to a different IHOP location. We were a party of four, greeted by a friendly hostess who promptly guided us to a booth. The menu is just as humongous as at my last visit, so unless you know what you want going in, you need some time to review all the different ways you can prepare and combine about a dozen items. For this visit I went with the Chorizo Fiesta Omelette($ 11.49), filled with chorizo sausage, roasted peppers, onions, and pepper jack cheese, then topped with a citrus chili sauce and sour cream. I think the promised grilled Serrano pepper may have been missing, but I would not have eaten it anyway. I did not see anywhere on the menu that this omelette came with a side, but my wife said that during my absence from the table our server told her that it did so she ordered pancakes for me. All of my meal was actually quite good. The pancakes were light and fluffy, the omelette was nicely cooked, although only warm, and the omelette filling was tasty but not spicy like I would expect from chorizo. My wife ordered a Create Your Own French Toast Combo($ 9.79) which came with two eggs, hash browns, her choice of bacon over sausage, and her choice of Brioche Foster in place of the standard French toast. Her eggs were only warm and the hash browns were cool in some spots and warm in others. Brioche seemed to mean that the bread was round instead of rectangular, and of course Foster meant she had some slices of banana on top along with some syrup. The Brioche needed to have been soaked much longer in the batter before grilling. The other folks who dined with us were generally satisfied with their choices. One had New York Cheesecake Pancakes($ 8.09) with a side of four slices of bacon($ 2.99) — a stack of pancakes with cheesecake pieces and topped with strawberries, powdered sugar, and whipped topping. Another had the Turkey Berry Melt($ 9.99) which added bacon, melted cheddar, and lingonberry jam to the slices of turkey between the grilled slices of sourdough bread. The hot Apple Cider($ 2.99/cup) was very sweet. The Coffee($ 2.59/person) was just OK. The Hot Cocoa($ 2.99/cup) had a lot of chocolate still sitting in the bottom of the cup. Our server was quite pleasant and we were out of there in less than an hour. BTW, the restrooms were clean. If all the food could have been served while it was hot, I would have bumped this up an additional star.

Solely based on this visit, we would not return. It took more than 30 – 40 minutes to get our food and mine wasn’t exactly what I ordered, my pancake plate was dirty and it was cold. My husbands eggs were raw. When the waitress brought back the ones the manager cooked, still underdone, the manager was mad and cooked them hard. Apparently the manager threw the plate at her.

I haven’t been to this IHOP in a year. It was partly by choice since I think this place is expensive for breakfast. I returned since I had a coupon for my free birthday breakfast, which is a Rooty Tooty. Nothing about this IHOP has changed since then, which is a good thing as their service and quality remained equal. This place was certainly dead on a weekday morning. Including myself, I occupied one of three tables in the whole restaurant. The plus side of the quiet atmosphere was that my breakfast got cooked very quickly(~6 minutes after ordering). My server was Shannon, and she was really nice. She has a very infectious smile that would make even the most miserably scrooge happy. Overall, this IHOP is still a nice place to eat, but it’ll most likely be another year before I return since I’m not a fan of paying $ 11 total for breakfast.

Its IHOP. Been in area for two years went here three times. First time was with friends and place was just like every IHOP, and food was the same. The second time staff was standing around doing nothing, yet table was dirty and sticky. Last time was just like the first. So if you like IHOP then go here. Looking for more friendly down home feel, this might not be for you.

Typical decent food for the chain. Ensure that your order is exactly as you asked as they can sometimes interrupt you and miss information. Price is fair and wait staff was nice, food was good we usually get the omelettes and pancakes or a mix of breakfast foods. Definitely leaps and bounds above Dennys when it comes to pancakes and breakfast food quality.

We had excellent service here today, and at the relatively dreary confines of the IHOP, that means a lot towards taking the usual subdiner experience and elevating it to the acceptably OK range. I was also surprised a bit at their new melt lineup — I had an egg, spinach, and roasted red pepper sandwich, albeit on butter-swaddled white toast, that was actually remarkably close to being tasty. Am I undermining a relatively positive IHOP experience with lowered expectations based on past experience? OHYEAH you betcha. That said, I was awfully close to bumping up this IHOP to unheard of for the genre four star territory based on staff karma after the host came running after us with a pair of mislaid gloves(really nice folks at this location), but IHOP price shock simply won’t allow me to do so. For KIDS meals, I paid close to $ 6 each for pancake(s), drinks not included(a non-refilled six ounce plastic milk cup ran me $ 2 a kid) plus $ 4 for a side of fruit, cashing me out with the chilluns’ meals actually more expensive than mine at $ 11 + tax and tip each. Competing similar chains, such as the nearby Friendly’s or Denny’s, are not nearly as brutal on the pocketbook, and at most diners when you order the kids meals you get a drink and a dessert included with a kiddy choice and a side. Without greater consistency from the chain, there’s no discernible advantage to eating here unless you have an absolute jones for pancakes and corn syrup and there’s no alternative diner location at hand. And bless you, staff of the Clifton Park IHOP, you were pretty awesome today but that gets you the three star review on charm, while my wallet silently weeps at having paid twice as much here for lunch as I would’ve at Panera and half again as much as at Friendly’s, where we would’ve gotten mediocre ice cream and fake whipped cream desserts for our trouble. As I recently told a friend, college nostalgia of munchies runs at 3AM only takes you so far, and I think I’ve exhausted my personal reservoir of this precious commodity.

just got back from IHOP Clifton Park not busy but still had a good experience, the place has seen better day décor need updating, ceiling tiles stained service was good and to tell you the true the dinner was OK but the beef tip with mushroom and onion was a little sweet for my taste. all in all it was OK except for our waitress she was excellent

You know that sinking feeling you get when a waitress tells you that the food will be out in just a moment, and you know it’s not true? This IHOP sets the bar for that event. Pros: + Darn you and your delicious fluffy pancakes IHOP, they’re so FLLUUUUFFFFFFAYYYYYY! + All day breakfast, even at night. Cons — I think being here drunk is better, the service catastrophes aren’t as noticeable. — Food is late, warm but late. Like hour wait from seat to eat. No good. — Service only seems to care if you speak up, so don’t come with high expectations. — The food is just ok. Even the pancakes seem a bit overcooked. Perhaps the restaurant is just to big, or maybe the kitchen to small, but whatever the problem is, they seem to have difficulties. The location on Wolff used to be the bad one, but I think in the past couple years, they may have role reversed. Either way, go there or make your own breakfast, but this eggspierence is not over easy.

Another hour to get our food then then the food was cold my biscuts and gravy biscuts were stale and gravy was mush didn’t taste like gravy aunt didn’t even get all the food she order and it was gross the manger had to pay for our food because we didn’t even it and the staff was terrible at service just bad all togather

Went to IHOP on a whim on a random week night. The place was empty, but yet they still managed to take 45 minutes to bring out an order of pancakes and an order of French Toast and Bacon. They also managed to make the wrong kind of pancakes than what I ordered. Inside was freezing cold as well. Had a ghetto space heater on the floor. Can totally see why the place was empty. It will probably closed down sometime in the near future.

Chain restaurant, the coffee here is extremely strong here. Their pancakes are always good and warm, with 4 different syrups to choose from. The wait staff is also good here always making sure you have enough coffee and seeing how the meal was. I am a fan of this place partially too because they are opened 24 hrs. So after a night of partying it is a good place to go to grab a bite before you go home and crash
