I’d come back here for their amazing wings, but wings only. I’d heard so many good things about the pizza… but the paul and ron fell short and came out burnt. Visibly burnt. I’ve had much better pizza elsewhere. Nice looking space though and serves alcohol!

First time eating here with my family with her graduation from Clifton H.S. Class of 2016 but seriously they don’t Carry blue cheese or creamy Ceaser and they are Italian !? Only vinaigrette or there house dressing and the wings with onions are like Burt charcoal sorry to say but it’s gross and the bottle water imported from Italy is 3.48 a bottle this isn’t Manhattan so to be somewhat coral and not complains I rate them 1 star our waitress Megan seems nice tho I’m hoping the carbs aka pizza is better yuck

Pizza is definitely good, but a little on the more expensive side but still worth it. I don’t know if I would say the coal fired pizza here tastes distinguishable from an other oven cooked pizza, but definitely has good flavor and they LOADED it up with pepperoni, unlike some stingy places where you get a slice with one or two on it. If you are just getting a pizza to go, they have a handy counter to pick up and pay. If you have ever been to this plaza, it’s just the worst to find parking and there are cars coming from every direction. I usually park far away from the strip and walk back to make things easier, but in the rain that wasn’t so fun. Also, when you ask for napkins and plates to go, they stack it on the box, which under ideal weather is probably fine, but in windy wet weather you really have to pin down that stuff with one hand while holding the box. Maybe little bags for those items?

Man its been sometime since the Fam and I visited this place. Wow wow wow… place is definitely a cool place to come have some drinks and eat their«well done pizza». The music playing is plenty of old school(which I love and appreciate) jams like the Sugar Hill Gang — Rappers Delight, «I said a Hip hop hippie to the hippie, The hip, hip a hop and you don’t stop, a rock it, To the bang bang boogie, say, up jump the boogie, To the rhythm of boogie, the beat!!» OK.ok…couldn’t resist that one. lol Anyway back to the review… we ordered the Meatball app… comes with some cheese two meatballs in sauce and foccacia bread. I always find find not too many places can make a good meatball in sauce but Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza hit it out of the park with this one. ABSOLUTELYDELICIOUS both the sauce and meatballs were really good. We also had their traditional«WELLDONE» pie which was not your everyday ordinary pie. The staff were attentive with smiles making our experience that more welcoming. Soooo charge up your phones, put some clothes on, gas in the car and get your butts down to Anthony’s and enjoy the Music, people, eye candy staff and more importantly the food.

I absolutely LOVE their wings!!! I will travel completely out of my way for them. It’s nice that you can sit outside when the weather is nice on the opposite side of the bar. Wait staff is extremely friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience and I’ve been there on more than one occasion. The pizza is really good too, but I’m a wing girl and theirs are exceptional! If I’m ever in the area, I always stop in or get an order to go. The atmosphere is very clean and comfortable. There are other eateries within that shopping corner, but Anthony’s is my go to spot. Definitely worth checking out; you won’t be disappointed!

I like the pizza here because it really is well done, as the company states after their name, «Pizza Well Done». I came here with a friend and we ordered the Roasted Cauliflower Pizza. It was truly to die for! It has cheese on the bottom, roasted cauliflower, then grated cheese over the top of the pizza. It is so delicious! It is also a great option for vegetarians because it is filling and enjoyable without the meat. I also had a great tasting Riesling wine here. It was light and smooth and went great with the Roasted Cauliflower Pizza we were eating. Another time I came here with the same friend and her husband, he ordered a calzone, which looked really good and it was HUGE! I like that this place is located in an area where there are a lot of other stores, because sometimes I will be shopping, then order a pizza to take home. They also have a service where you can order by phone, then drive up behind the restaurant and they will bring your food right out to your car for you. This is a great service if you’re in a rush and don’t want to park and go in the restaurant. I highly recommend this place to people that truly enjoy their pizza well done and crispy like I do.

Salad, pizza, chicken wings, meatballs. That’s what I get everytime I go. With my wife, and wine. Doesn’t light my world on fire but is what it claims and needs to be, plus always consistent. I plan to continuously frequent and recommend to those who are unaware.

Good atmosphere. Friendly service. Pizza not so good. The cheese was only in the center of the pie. Sauce bland. Crust tasted like card board. I’ve had frozen pizza better than this. First and last visit. Don’t know what the RAVE is all about. STARTAVERN in Orange, NJ has my five star vote.

I love this place. I’ve been here about 6 – 7 times and I have yet to be disappointed. My waiter/waitress is always friendly and polite. The place never gets really packed so getting seated is usually never a problem. If there is a wait you are given the option to sit at the bar while you wait. The bar is pretty cool. It is two-sided so when it is warm enough outside they give you the option of hanging out on the outside part of the bar. There is also outdoor seating. Every time I come here I share a large pie with a friend which is more than enough. We always have a large pie half prosciutto & arugula and half something else. We have tried just about every combination and nothing beats the prosciutto & arugula. The wings are really good as well. Great ambiance and slightly dim lighting makes it a cool spot for a date or to just hang out and have a couple of drinks and some slices.

Anthony’s is the best place to come for Coal Fired Pizza!!! The place has a very relaxed atmosphere. There are many widescreen TVs to view sports events. Also, sports paraphernalia such as Dan Marino’s jersey adorns the walls. Came in last night for dinner. When sitting at the bar, the manager came over and asked me if I would like to try a free sampling of their«Apple Pie Vodka Infusion». Of course, I would want to try it! He said the 2 magic words FREE and VODKA!!! Gotta tell you, this Infusion smelled and tasted like a «Really Smooth and Hot Grandma’s Apple Pie». Wow, It really cleared your sinuses too. Plus, it wasn’t a sampler size. It was a half glass! I’ll definitely have this infusion during cold season. LOL… They have a nice wine list with good California and Italian wines. Anyway, I decided to have a glass of delicious 2013 Ferrari Carano Savignon Blanc $ 10.00. Definitely worth the price. I ordered a personal lunch size plain Traditional Pizza $ 8.49. All their ingredients are always super fresh. You can get extra toppings too! In the past, I’ve had their incredibly delicious Coal Oven Roasted Chicken Wings with caramelized onions and their«Off the Charts Meatballs» for dinner. I forgot to mention their great expresso is a wonderful way to end your meal. A nice biscotti is served with it. Anthony’s Coal Fire Pizza is conveniently on Route 3 West, Clifton, NJ. A private parking lot with lots of parking is available.

Good pizza, Awesome wings and Amazing Meatballs. In that exact order. Pretty cool beer selection and an awesome staff. Per person with alcohol can range $ 15-$ 25. This past weekend mi lady and I were shopping and decided to finally try their pizza. We ordered the Frank and Paul speciality pie.(Not sure I got the name right). 4 meatballs, soda and beer. Food: — The specialty pie was good. The pie crust was crispy and burnt. It was loaded with meatballs, sausage, sweet/hot peppers, ricotta and sauce. The pie was good and you can definitely tell it was cooked in a fire oven. Large pie was $ 20. — The wing were awesome. These were also cooked in the fire oven and was buried under caramelized onions, which we loved. The wings had a baked charr, were still juicy and tender and gave a hint of a smokey taste. Wings were $ 11. — The meatballs were amazballs! 3 ounces of meaty heaven each. They most def perfected it as these meatballs held firmly together but melted in your mouth. OMG I want an order now lol. The sauce and focaccia bread was a stellar compliment as well. Meatballs were $ 11. All in all we would come back to enjoy the meatballs and wings. The atmosphere is gastro pubish, the staff is wonderful and attentive. Parking can be iffy so come prepared. Enjoy folks.

As we walked thru the front door we were greeted by The manager Tim Sanders Who remember us from the Unilocal ratings. My kids were amazed that he remembered us and he told them that they were VIP. They felt so important. Thank you for making their day!!! We then had an amazing waitress Haley who took care of us. Like always this place is amazing. The service and food are outstanding!!!

Pizza was too salty. Over price for all. The Manger was gritty before I am coming with group 24ppl, I made call for and asking price and question, then as we coming, I am asking register which I am planing 12″ pizza share for 2 and each person has soft drink, my budget was $ 9 plus tax tips will to $ 10, it it fit in? Answer was yes. Guess what? Bill was $ 335 with out tip. What’s hell. 12 of 12″ pizza with 25 bottle of soda. There chicken pepperoni pizza was 19.99 as 12″, really over price. First will last . And go through bill I find first I order 12×12″ and they bill me 13×12″, I order other 2×12″ one with pepperoni, one add chicken, what he’ll they charge $ 19.98& $ 20+. Truly bad.

For a chain pizza place i dont think this place is bad. That being said i dont think its amazing The cauliflower pizza is quite tasty but other than that the other pizzas i have had here are just okay. The wings have a dry rub on them and are not covered in sauce. They are grilled instead of fried and are actually quite tasty. The beer list that they have is cool some local some other craft a good amount of beer overall. Waitstaff was friend. Would probably return(for the cauliflower pizza), but again the pizza is just okay

Seriously you don’t like your pizza to burn in 800 – 900 degrees ?? What’s wrong with crispy edges? Perhaps Ellio’s pizza will do instead. But not for me ladies and gents! It’s only coal or wood fire pizza that will result in a melding of flavors on a delicious crust which is charred to perfection. Because I visited this place at least three times I am comfortable to say the sauces are made fresh to ensure quality and consistency. The Ron Paul and meatballs pizza is a must have! Try it and let me know if you hate it.

I went with a party of 18 people. We were able to get a private room during to having such a large party. If you do not have a large party, expect to wait for a table if you come on a Saturday night. I saw a long line waiting for a table. Service is great. Waiters are very accomodating and friendly. Atmosphere is okay. The food isn’t so good. The meatballs has too much breading, the broccoli pizza is mediocre at best(compared to pizza from new york), the mildly hot ribs are overcooked and the eggplant parmigiana is mediocre as well. Because we had a large party and order the meatballs, we got to keep the silver pot that the meatballs is in. It also came with basil seeds we can use to grow basil. Maybe my expectations are too high considering I am comparing the pizza to pizza you can get from new york(which everyone knows new york is one of the best cities to get pizza).

This place has to be my favorite pizza place around. It’s not your typical pizza — it is a moderately thick pie cooked to a slightly burnt color(but not too dark). The flavors are unique — really nothing like an ordinary, run of the mill pizza parlor. My favorite pie to order — hands down — is half pepperoni and half meatball ricotta. O. M. G. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. Their salad is excellent too, very fresh tasting(iceberg lettuce with kalamata olives, hard boiled egg, tomato, finely diced celery, and your choice of mozzarella or blue cheese). It’s a little pricey but the portion is huge — easily big enough for four people. On Wednesday they offer low priced martinis(I love their dirty martinis and the lemon drop) and they walk around with free food samples like chicken wings and meatballs. There is a full bar and a very small area to eat outdoors.

I love the thin, crispy crust of the pizza here! As the restaurant name implies, their pizzas are cooking in a 800 degree coal fired oven. So, this definitely attributes to their crispy crust. The edges and the bottom of the crust do have a tendency to get a bit charred, so if you don’t like that, then this is not the place for you. I just break off the burnt edges, and enjoy the crispy pizza. Their pizza is so full of flavor! I’ve ordered their Traditional Pie as well as their Fresh Mozzarella, Sliced Tomato & Basil Pie. Both are great. We like to order a salad to eat before the pizza. Their regular menu is quite limited and only offers a «family style» Italian Salad, which is great if you have at least 4 people. One very nice waitress told us that we could order the lunch sized salad(at dinner time), it’s about half the size and half the cost. Perfect for 2 people. Another little trick I’ve learned, if you have the Foursquare app on your mobile phone, «check in» here. Just for checking in, they will give you two FREE wings. The wings are great and come with tons of caramelized onions. They also offer specials on different nights of the week. On Monday and Tuesday nights, all craft beer is ½ price. On Wednesday nights, you can get a martini for $ 5 and free meatballs. The restaurant has a cool vibe to it, and plenty of TV’s for watching your favorite sporting event. It does have a tendency to get crowded, especially on the weekends. My husband and I like ordering the large pizza for about $ 3 more, so we will have food for lunch the next day. I’m looking forward to eating my leftover pizza for lunch right now! Off to the toaster oven I go!
