Great amazing taste for the pizza! It tastes delicious! The customer service was a little rude! He didnt asked me if I wanted to stay just packed it up to go like pushing me away. But! Looooove The pizza otherwise.

First of all, Pizza is one of my favorite foods. I can be full and will always have room for a slice. That said, I still consider myself a NJ pizza snob, and I am very picky about pizza. Scotto’s: I have been a Local for years but some how have missed this place. I ordered 3 slices. Plain slice — Fantastic. Just the right amount of both sauce and cheese. From the first bite to the last, loaded with flavor. As far as standard NJ pizza, this is now one of my favorites. Scilian — not a fan. Although it was taken from a pie that was sitting out, just not cutting it. Seemed old and stale. Very disappointed. I would not have served it. As far as prep and flavor, pretty average. Grandma/Granny — Back to great. Skip the Scilian and go for the Grandma pie. Crusty, rustic, good sauce and the right seasoning. Some bits of dress basil on top and cheese right to the crust. Very flavorable. Over all 4 Stars. Would gave been 5 if not for the Scilian. The plain is still the way to go but don’t be afraid to try the Grandma pie.

the pizza is awesome but I believe they only take cash still!!! and the place is in need of some updating/renovations, other than that they are great.

Scotto’s is a pretty good pizza place. They are almost hidden in the Kohls parking lot all the way to the back.

I like Scotto’s plain pizza slices. The sauce tastes right and they are generous with the cheese.

Been going to Scottos since 1976 and it has always been great. Went today and picked up a pepperoni pie, plain pie, and a chicken parmigiana roll as always it was absolutely great. Thank you for all the years of great food.

Yummy! We had a cheese slice, pepperoni and my bf had two sausage & extra cheese slices! They were great, the place it’s comfortable clean and warm. They have I believe one or two TVs which we were able to enjoy the game as we enjoyed our slices. There’s a big parking lot so that shouldn’t ever be a problem! Will definitely come back here !

The staff is not very friendly, the place could use some renovations. Service was absolutely atrocious. It took 20 minutes for a Chicken sandwich. It was supposed to be a hot sandwich, but it was cold and clammy. I would try this place again if they would remodel. I believe a change in atmosphere would stir the staff to better production.

I’ve been eating at Scotto’s since the 70’s. I don’t get back to NJ very often these days, but when I do, Scotto’s is a must. Their basic cheese pie hasn’t changed a bit. And that’s a very good thing! I was there just a few weeks ago, and the pizza was as good as ever! Thanks for being so consistent over so many years!

If you like your pizza with a thin crispy crust and cheese swimming on top, this is the place to go. Pizza sauce is absolutely delicious… just like Grandma used to make. The location is not appealing to the eye and neither is the restaurant itself. It is in desperate need to be modernized. However, I am not there to take in the scenery. I am there to eat pizza and the pizza gets 4 stars. *Ladies and children should not go alone at night.*

Being in the neighborhood, this is my go to pizza place. Too bad they don’t deliver. But again, if you want to test great pizza, you have to eat in. I love their cheeses pizza. Beside that I have tried some with toppings and they are great.

This was one of the first pizza places I tried when moving to Clifton. The pizza was pretty good(large cheese) maybe a 5 out of 10, but a definite improvement over some of the competitive pizza place in the Clifton area. The place always seems busy, and seems very family friendly. The only reason we don’t go that often is, sadly, the location, the traffic on Main Ave, and the fact that they do not take credit/debit cards.

ALWAYS a reliably great slice of pizza! My first choice when I’m in the mood to run out for a quick slice. Their chicken wings are pretty good too. decent size and a good sauce but just a simple slice will hit the spot! Cheers!

This can be kept simple. Scotto’s pizza has had the same classic taste as long as I can remember. It is exactly everything you think pizza should taste like. They also carry a variety of specialty pies such as buffalo chicken, cheese steak, and margherita. Cash only.

For a town with the highest percentage of Italians, we have some of the crappiest pizza joints I’ve ever tasted. That being said, Scotto’s is one of the best I’ve tried. As much as I really like their pies, they don’t deliver and they don’t have buffalo wings. Shame, shame, shame… I would have given them a 4 if they did. However when i’m in the mood for pizza, both on my healthy days(veggie no cheese) and non-healthy days(plain pie) they always use fresh high quality ingredients(they use of one the best italian food suppliers(GDS)).

I have been going to this place since I was a kid. Great pizza. The old guy(owner) is a cool guy. His sons help run the place. Not the friendliest bunch of kids but they get the job done. Pizza beats out any place nearby.

I had quite the taste for Papa Johns, going back to my college days. However, the staff at Papa Johns in Belleville are missing chromosomes and can’t seem to deliver a correct order in under 3 hours. I was told to try Scotto, and they’re my pizzeria of choice now. Very creepy pet store next door, but still great for pick up. The pizza, I mean. Not the pets. Would be even better for pick up if they’d join the new millennium and get a credit card machine.

I’m such a sucker for strip mall pizzerias, you’d think I suffered from a rare brain dysfunction. Maybe it’s a prion attacking half a chromosome. Something weird draws me into these places… like Friday, the Wife suggests it. So now the weirdness has clearly affected her, or been passed onto her(now we know it’s contagious). It’s a pizzeria that would be at home anywhere, if anywhere included cutthroat competition for your pizza money. It’s kid friendly. I know this because I brought my kids there, and the people were friendly. My kids are well-behaved for their ages(3 going on 4, 1 going on 14 and how the hell did that happen?), so it’s not like we stressed the wait staff. The place was clean, bathrooms too, and the waitresses were pretty on the ball. The pizza was really, really good right out of the oven, perfect cheese/sauce ratio, crust wasn’t thick but it wasn’t wheat paper either. Cheap dinner for four, too, $ 15. Built-in entertainment too, because one of the waitresses was, well, pretty good-looking and one of the larger tables was stocked with about five adolescent boys, not even trying to be discreet about clockin’ her every move. Boys, boys, you will learn. –C
