When I arrived to the restaurant, I was OUTRAGED at the fact that it was BYOB and I hadn’t come prepared. By this time, it was too late and liquor stores were closed. I had one of those days that everything was falling apart and a glass of wine seemed mandatory, however, our server was so delightful and inviting that leaving was not an option. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. It isn’t a party young crowd, it is more of a romantic date night feel. They do have outdoor seating and that area seemed to be more lively though. They have free valet parking which is also a plus. Now, The mint lemonade completely made up for the fact that I didn’t have alcohol. It was amazing. Sweet, ice cold but had a hint of mint that complimented the food very well. We had lamb chops and the mixed platter along with an appetizer that was basically a middle eastern twist on empanadas. I was a little disappointed when they told us they had run out of rice, but the french fries were a good substitute and the server was very apologetic. They hookah is pretty good. Inexpensive but not the best I’ve had. Overall, this place is awesome. I recommend this place mostly for a date night or an intimate get together with loved ones.

Wow, a lot of mixed reviews on here. Well, my experiences with Beirut have been great every time I’ve been there. The food is very good, and the service has been good as well. The labneh is one of the best I’ve tasted in my entire life, and I actually live in Beirut(the country). Avoid Saturday nights because of the parties, come for lunch for a nice experience that will definitely leave you full and happy.

Went there on a Friday night with my buddy to have some chill time. The place was dead btw but that didn’t bother us. The hookah was 6⁄10. Service was good and tip is included in the bill the waiter kept on asking regularly if everything was okay in our table. Food was good(salmon). Overall experience wasn’t that bad. The restrooms need some more attention.

Worst experience ever! The three of us walked into this place for diner and it ended up being a disaster. We asked out waitress(who btw was super nice) to change our bread because it was cold and mushy but she ended up just reheating it, which was breaking into pieces everytime we were touching it. The grape leaves were literally frozen and once again, when we told her, they just ended up reheating it. We decided to just give up and eat whatever was i front of us. We asked them to cancel one of the appetizers 5mn after the order($ 5 not even a big deal) and they made such a big deal out of it. When we finally got the check, the manager finally walked up to us and made sure to mention he did us a favor by taking off the appetizer off the check(which they never served btw). Anyway, never ever again!!! There r so many great places out there but Beirut is def not one of them!

Went there with a friend two nights ago. Ordered 3 appetizers. We got two and the waiter disappeared! After about half an hour, we able to get his attention. When asked about the third appetizer, he told us they did not have it! We wanted to order two sandwiches, which he assured us that they we were available. After another 15 minutes of waiting, a waitress told us that they don’t serve sandwiches at night! Go figure!

Good customer service and great food! Hookah is always made well. Difficult to get a seat on weekends and may be required to spend $ 25 per person.

Dollar for a warm can of soda! Not a good place if you have food allergies nor good for vegans/vegetarians. All the luxury vehicle’s out front are rented. NOTWORTHTHEPRICES!

I have been to this place with a die hard friend of mine. This is one of the most decent Hookah bars i’ve been to. I’m comparing ones in Manhattan and Queens. This is definitely preferred. Nice service with Belly dancer show Saturday night with pricey tickets. But should check out once in a while. You must bring your own alcohol.

You will probably read mixed reviews for this place so let me give the facts. Avoid Saturday’s if you do not want to get overcharged and really party it up. There is a cover charge and minimum every head count must spend. From Sunday to Friday which I usually like to come here you just order and pay for what you like. My go to choices are hummus with meat, the mixed grill entrée, and blue mist hookah. Avoid the tea and coffee, not the best in my opinion. The mixed grill is awesome! Meat is very tender and seasoned perfect! Hookah is pretty good as well. Service is usually good and friendly from my experience. Few things I dislike is they charge 18% tip automatically so pay attention. Parking can be a pain in the area but they do have valet as an option.

If I could give zero stars I would… bad food… that fine… couldn’t find my server all night …that fine… but after a rat ran across the floor… deal breaker.

If you loved to play hide and go seek as a child this is the place to go! Well thats what it feels like when I’m searching all over for my server just to order a drink. Hookah was good but not enough to cover up the bad service and lack of attention to its customers. I have been to many hookah places around town and some even out of town and this one is the worst. La ziza, and Cedars have better food and service. This one ranks below them. Its like they don’t even try because the servers know that 18% tip is added to your bill regardless so they don’t even pay attention to you. I tried this place again because i always want to give second chances to update my review but it seems like nothing changed and service is worse and worse. How bad can management be if they can not control a staff! On the bright side i enjoyed the hookah so hats off to you guys but i won’t be returned do to the fact that id rather go to a professional place and be treated well then to play childhood games and pay to play those games

Service improved. Need to increase the stars. 1) The mixed grill is a great entrée. 2) Mint lemonade is excellent. 3) The hookah is the best in the area. 4) Service still reduces a star.

Was not a fan. Honestly, though the food was good, I will not go back. The service was terrible. Nobody ever came to help us until we called for them. Just to pay the bill it took 40 minutes. Also, what kind of restaurant DOESNOT serve water? Not even tap water!!! I found that to be a deal breaker. Oh, and let me not forget to mention that the kitchen staff broke out in an almost physical fight right in front of us. Anyways, if you do happen to go, order the falafel appetizers. That was great! I only went for my aunts birthday, so I kept on a good face. If it were not for my amazing family, I would’ve definitely walked out.

Food: excellent Hookah: excellent Service: excellent Ambience: good I have been here a few times now and I really like this place. The staff is great. They are polite and ready to serve and take care of you. The only thing I wish they would come around a little more frequently. I have tried the Hummus, Falafel and the Mohmarra and they all are absolutely delicious. I will say the falafel are the best I have ever had. The Hookah here is also very good I highly recommend getting blue mist or mint. This is a good place to meet up friends, chat and hangout. I will be back for sure. Do try the mint lemonade it is awesome

I came to Beirut for a work dinner. Very pleased since I absolutely love a hookah after a good meal. The table ordered many appetizers to share, including falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, labneh, kibbeh, some sort of salad, and what appeared to be a cheese egg roll. All of the appetizers were good, I especially like the salad and kibbeh. For my entrée, I chose the lamb chops. It came with the option of rice, fries, or a salad. I went with fries, which were exactly the same as the fries I get at the other Arabic restaurants in the area.(same supplier?) The lamb was seasoned well, but cooked through. I could have done with a bit of pink, but I guess it’s a cultural thing. Meal ended with some flaky desserts, Arabic coffee, and hookah. I was pleasantly surprised by the hookah staff here at Beirut. It seems they have hired many of the former employees of hookah bars I used to frequent, from Al-Jannah and Baranda. For dinner and hookah, I’d be glad to come here, especially since it’s BYOB.

I really like this place a lot. Its nice and open on the inside so it doesnt get too smokey. Its also BYOB– love that. As far as the hookah, i tried the blue mist– the flavor was soooo good! Loved it. They also regularly come around to change the coals. I tried the hummus and meat and cheese ayape(similar to a quesadilla) Both really good! They have an outside patio which is always a nice perk for nice weather. I came during the week and it was a pretty good crowd. I will definitely be back!
