Clifton Commons Spirits and Wine

At first, I was impressed by their diverse selection of craft beers and reasonable prices. The employees are friendly, and knowledgeable about their products and offer solid recommendations.
What I am not impressed with and downright displeased with is purchasing beer past its «best by» date. On three separate occasions, I’ve unknowingly purchased beer well past the date.
The first time it occurred, I partially blamed myself for not checking. The second time, I mentioned it to the clerk and he said that the distributor hadn’t come to rotate the stock. The beer had a best by date of June in December!
Yesterday, I purchased a mixed pack of Brooklyn to take to a friends house and wouldn’t you know it, BB date of October 2015! Annoying and embarrassing.
Nice selection but buyer beware. Stu Lenoards in Clifton and Patsy’s Liqours in Lyndhurst offer similar selections and haven’t had any issues there.

This place has a great selection whether you are looking for beer, wine, or anything else. Another huge plus is their fair prices.

I walked in the shop. There was a young man behind the counter never greeted me. I looked around about two minutes. The same person never asked me if I needed any assistance. –No Stars

Terrible store, overpriced and the man with glasses at the register is so unfriendly and rude. I recommend the other liquor stores nearby that are way cheaper.

Fairly new liquor store located in the Clifton Commons area, next to Stop & Shop and Staples. I wouldn’t consider myself a regular (I still get carded every time haha), but whenever I go, the staff has been nothing but spectacular. I wish I remembered her name (I’ll have to get it), but there is one woman in particular who works there, and she is fabulous. She’s friendly and offers suggestions of what to pair certain drinks with; she is the best. Friendly customer service can go a long way. Very clean establishment too.
They regularly have complimentary tastings (I drive past it all the time on my way to Stop & Shop and see free tasting signs), and they have a HUGE selection of craft beers. Prices are average, and the last wine I purchased was on sale. Very conveniently located, and despite the Clifton Commons area being a generally crowded area, there is never a problem for parking.

These guys get 5 stars for me. The place is big, brand new its clean, has a great selection of beer, wine and liquor at reasonable prices.
It’s located right next to Staples and stop and shop and there’s a huge parking spot right in front.
They also have tastings at times as they did today with wine which helps with being introduced to new products

Nice looking liquor store with a huge selection of wine and craft beer. Found some harder to fine beers from Central and South America which was a nice surprise. Prices are competitive and the people are helpful and knowledgable.
