One of the worst things to do is go shopping for clothes and shoes. This is why I like Famous I gave up buying the high end sneakers like Jordan’s or crap like that. I go inside see a pair of sneakers or shoes I want grab them and head to pay for them. Now this is me my wife on the other hand she must really hate me cause she has to look look and look then maybe buy the first pair of shoes/​boots she looked at.
They have a club card and send you discounts and coupons so a $ 150 pair of boots end up costing $ 80. The staff greets you as you walk in and are very helpful and pleasant. So are they my go to place to grab some footwear yes why cause they don’t annoy me like they do at the mall. Hate malls they are a waste of space.

This is my go-​to when I need a quick pair of shoes for something. Its a pretty decently sized store. They have good variety, good prices. I normally get coupons in the mail which is always great. Its in the same shopping center as Kohls.

I kind of have a different perspective on this place since my taste in sneakers is very simple. You will not catch me wearing $ 200 shoes.
Famous Footwear runs a lot of deals and I saw lots of cheap shoe choices. I also appreciated that they would order in shoes if I found one I liked but they were missing my size. Bonus points for selling socks and shoe care products as well.
Would I come back here to buy Gucci dress shoes? Absolutely not.
Would I come back here to scoop up some cheap sneakers. Definitely.

Famous Footwear, don’t let the name deceive you. Yeah they have name brand shoes/​sneakers but don’t expect high end (Gucci, Prada) styles. I do buy a particular brand of shoes when I go here but recently their selection has been less and less so I just go to Zappos where you get modern styles and every brand of footwear possible.
An advantage here is you don’t need to be assisted to try on shoes. They have all sizes out so you DIY.
I did notice their sneaker styles have gotten somewhat better but it still lacks recent styles.

This store is always empty & their selection is not all that great, as they hardly restock their shelves. The store isn’t layed out smoothly & the representatives never ask if you need help.
