Hi-Q Nails

My regular nail salon couldn’t fit me in today and I was in desperate need of a mani. I decided it couldn’t wait anymore and headed to Hi-​Q. Worst mistake! The service was terrible and I can honestly say, that it was the worst manicure I’ve ever had.
I have polish on my cuticles, bumps on almost every nail, uneven color. One nail was so bad that she had to re-​do it. That was the only one she attempted to fix only after I insisted. I pointed out that the color was bad and they should get rid of it but she kept saying that it was ok.
I walked out without tipping (which I still feel guilty about) but I couldn’t bring myself to tip on such poor service. She didn’t like that very much because she yelled at me and told me not to come back!
At $ 32 for a gel mani, there are far better places in this area.

I got my eyebrows waxed at this salon. The wax was too hot and they burned my eye lids. My eye lids were red and burns for hours. The hot wax even burn some skin off my right eyelid. I returned to the store to show them what the lady did. The owner didn’t apologize and just applied a cooling gel. The gel sting and didn’t give me any relieve from the burning feeling. The owner didn’t offer refund anything. Unbelievable. I would never go back nor would I recommend this salon to anyone.

This is my first/​last time here. I’m new to the neighborhood and was hoping to find a great place for gel manicures. I was excited when the Owner sat me to down to begin. Well, unless you like your cuticles painted and an uneven application to your nails, RUN the OTHER way! When I pointed out the mess, she attempted to clean up, poorly, I gave up. She even tried to blame the nail polish. HELLO Owner?! Then get a new bottle or just tell me that you don’t have that color. I’m giving a 2 star with hopes that based on the reviews, maybe, just maybe, I will get a decent pedicure.

This place has gone downhill. It used to give great mani and pedi. Went yesterday and got cut twice and was not given great service. Asked how much it was for a combo and was told 25 but at payment time was told 30. Also the lady doing my pedi sneezed on my foot 3 times. Yuck! Do not go here ladies. Many other nail salons are around

The only reason this place is getting two stars as opposed to one is because of the fantastic pedicures ONE person there gives, Jenny. She does such a great pedi, relaxing massage, very sweet girl.
However, when it comes to the NAILS, they are not Hi-​Quality (as their name might suggest). Not even a week after paying for a new wrap on my real nails, it was lifting, cracking, and looks horrible. I paid a pretty good price to get my nails done. And this wasn’t the first time. I went two weeks prior to this past visit and my nails did the same thing, and were done by a different person.
Apparently, the high price does NOT mean that you are getting higher quality service. I would not recommend this place for nails, unless you are getting a regular manicure. Stay way if you are going for tips/​wraps. They do not last.
