Crackerjacks Bar & Grill

Used to be my go to. Been there for 18 years on and off. And it still looks the same. Bar Rescue needs to hit this one up. It’s full of cops and biker gangs, but neither have bothered me. The bartenders are cool and the prices are decent… but the owner has seen better days and now lives upstairs there. Needs help, I wish them well, I had a lot of fun there back in the day, won’t be back until it’s modernized though. Feels sketchy.

An interesting little dive over on the east side.
The «no colors» sign on the door when we showed up caused a few folks in our party to take a step back… at first because we thought it read «no coloreds» at first and we were like «whoa, what year is this?!» …and then after reading it properly we were like «wtf? are there even gangs in this area?! we’re in Clinton Township FFS, not South Central Los Angeles…» …but, whatever, we’re here, let’s give it a shot.
Really no clue what that sign on the door was about. The staff and patrons were friendly enough, and we had a decent time. The only shots were the ones we ordered in bulk, and the only screaming came as a result of the karaōke.
It’s…an interesting little dive over on the east side. Yep, that pretty much sums it up.

Not real big, but they have outdoor seating available. Always a friendly crowd whenever I visit. Nice neighborhood bar.
