Ignored my concerns and suggested that I may have cancer. After a CT scan proved otherwise and I raised the same concerns again, he still ignored me and put me on steroids. When I found out my concerns were correct and showed him pictures to prove it, he told me to come back in a couple of months to see how things progressed without treatment. This is after I repeatedly explained to him that I was in pain. He’s an arrogant (bleep) and I will never go back. My new Doctor took one look at my pictures and scheduled a surgery right then and there. My pain is now gone and I can move forward with my life. Dr DeMello ruined my summer with unnecessary cancer scares and prolonged my pain all because he couldn’t be bothered to listen to his patients concerns.

Used to get frequent ear infections, so when I had one several years ago, I ignored it infection went into my jaw and I was hospitalized for a few days. The pain was like a constant hammer to side of the head.
Coming out of a drug-​induced fog, I saw this doc casually stroll in instead of my usual ENT. He was calm, cool & collected and
got me on the mend and back home.
At my follow-​up, he suggested an allergist. I now see Dr. DeMello a couple times a year to make sure my ears are behaving, but I haven’t had an infection since.
Dr. DeMello is talented, kind, funny & precise. Good with kids & adults.
