I enjoyed my experience at this LensCrafters. As a new wearer of glasses, I did not know what to expect but the staff was very friendly and helpful. They walked me through the whole process in all the detail I asked for. (I am very detail oriented so I know I gave them quite a job to do.)
Yes, the lenses are pricey here. Depending. They have a selection of «classic frames» that are not made by any particular designer. Those frames are much more affordable but they are not as fashionable. At the same time, that classics selection is the only selection I have seen at other optical places such as Sam’s Club.
I went ahead and spent the money on more trendy frames. They looked better on me and the employees reminded me that I didn’t have to buy new frames every year. Just lenses if my prescription changes.
If your prescription is simple, they can get your glasses done in an hour. My sunglasses took 2 but that is because they had to dip the tint. The tech took the time to explain to me why. My husband’s prescription is much greater and his lenses are thicker so they had to send his in. But they were in the store within a week exactly as promised.
The reason I only gave 4 stars is the doctor herself. My glaucoma puff test came back with results that my left eye may have a bit too much pressure. The doctor wanted to numb my eye and poke it with a needle. (I’m paraphrasing, the classic glaucoma test.) I was surprised she jumped right to this solution instead of doing the puff test again. I insisted she re-​do the puff test instead of this much more invasive procedure. She re-​tested with the puff and it came back normal the second time.

I have been to a few different stores, but the staff at this location was wonderful!
My Husband and I decided rather quickly that we needed new glasses and contacts. We walked into the store, on a Saturday, during the Holiday shopping season no less, expecting to have to make an appointment and go back.
Within minutes we were able to see Dr. Fairless. He was great!
All the staff was very nice, professional, and helpful.
We even needed to exchange my husband pair of frames and we were able to do that without a problem!
