Crazy Down Home

The breakfast is yummy. The catfish nuggets were not worth the long wait. They tasted like little grease nuggets. But hey… The breakfast is good!

i didn’t like it establishment changed it to something different, they want to up charge you for getting a regular side like potatoes or veggies so no thanks

The food looks better than it tastes. I was missing two sides from one of my meals and didn’t realize until I got home. I also had a long hair stuck to the outside of my togo box and that was really a turn off so i will not be heading back.

Only 3 stars but not because of the food. I had fried shrimp and 2 egg breakfast platter. The shrimp were large and tasty! Eggs were cooked just how I like, over easy. The potatoes were ok, not seasoned well enough for me. What’s lacking at this place is cleanliness. No paper towels in the bathroom, no napkins to clean your hands, and the seating booths are dirty! The place needs a good old scrub down.

Great dive spot! I got their Fried Shrimp platter with Mac-N-Cheese…fresh seafood! Mmmmm! I also got their Lasagna, it was very flavorful!

I got baked chicken, mashed potatoes, and string beans. There was a bug in my string beans and I had diarrhea after eating here. NEVER AGAIN.

Out of all the breakfast spots I have tried in MD (which pretty much is just IHOP) this place is leaps and bounds above the rest.
I love a good hole in the wall and this place is just that! I’ve only been here for breakfast and you get a good amount of food for an even better price.
You can take out or eat in. There is always a group of older gentleman chatting it up which gives it a really down home feel.
I’ve had the salmon cake platter (eggs, toast, large salmon cake, and hash browns) for $ 6 and the french toast plater (2 pieces of toast, meat, eggs, and hash browns) $ 6. Both excellent!
They also have a breakfast bar and it seems serve breakfast lunch and dinner. I plan to go back soon. This is my first down home find I really like in Clinton (Hubbards was a #fail).
