Econo Lodge Andrews AFB

Was great at first things were fine but then one night our A/​C went out and had to change rooms. They put us in a dirty room. We had to change the sheets on the bed ourselves. The new room bathroom tub was crooked and hurt the calf of my legs. Also the entire hotel smelled like drugs on more than one occasion. Woke up and found a tick in my bed. Changed rooms yet again and we got Queen size beds instead of double beds that was more comfortable. I will never stay there ever again. Stayed 7 night!

Very good hotel for the budget, breakfast was self service but was decent, rooms were pretty clean.

While this is not a 4-​star hotel, I“m giving it four stars on Unilocal because it met 4 out of 5 of my needs. Location, cleanliness, comfort, and accommodations.
I needed to be in this area to deal with the aftermath of a recent death in the family. I was looking for something affordable that was clean and comfortable and this hotel seemed to have this based on other online reviews. Bonus: They have rooms with jacuzzi tubs (which I knew would be a welcome accommodation that evening). Free Wi-​Fi as well was a plus.
Check-​in was relatively easy. All rooms are reached through interior hallways, which are spotless and smell clean (and don’t smell Febreze clean!) The room we were assigned was spotless. Granted, this hotel is probably one of the oldest in the area so there were cosmetic things like loose wall paper in the bathroom and there were a few cracks in the tiling around the jacuzzi. But the bed was clean and comfortable, the water in the Jacuzzi/​shower was hot and we were totally satisfied with the room.
My only issue was with the coffee offered on the continental breakfast. I poured two cups and covered them. They were lukewarm by the time I walked back to my room.

For well less than a hundred a night, this place really did a great job of having everything we needed. I’m rating got so high because of the high value it offers!
The rooms were clean, there was no sign of filth from the previous people. There’s also a cute little continental breakfast with a waffle maker. It’s modest, but we weren’t expecting it from an econo lodge… I guess we’ve stayed at enough bad ones that this one decided to make up for all the others.
