A quality place for both breakfast and lunch. I usually get the vegetarian omelet every time I go and it is loaded with tons of different veggies. I always appreciate the small cup of fresh fruit that comes with it as well as the potatoes. Not cheap but not the most expensive. Will always be a fan of the fine diner!

Found this place on Unilocal while driving through. What a great find! Was a busy day so service was kinda slow(but expected). But more important is that the food was great… Wife had the Neptune omelet which was AWESOME! I had the grilled chicken wrap which was loaded not only with perfect chicken but great vegetables and perfectly roasted red peppers. Portions are large so if your appetite is small split something. Bottom line… Great home cooked food in a neat small town.

The nicest staff ever and best service I’ve ever experienced. Delicious breakfast and lunch and my favorite place to eat when I’m home from school. This place is the jewel of my hometown.

My family loves this place but I have never had a meal here that I enjoyed. I ordered a turkey sandwich today that had the driest turkey I have ever tasted. There is also always food all over the floor. As I was walking out today there was a full wrap laying underneath a woman’s chair as she ate. Given this place many chances but it’s just not for me. Although the food isn’t great the service is good. Everyone has always been very nice.

My wife and I have eaten at the Mighty Fine many times. The restaurant is usually busy and the good is pretty good. My only complaint about the food centers on the syrup. They serve fake maple syrup that tastes like crap. Customers should be offered real maple syrup, even if there is an additional charge. My non-food complaint centers on the wait staff. For whatever reason, all the waitstaff are women who seem focused on talking amongst themselves rather than waiting on the customers. This morning one woman, who I think is an owner, was behind the counter leading a chant. Fortunately it did not catch on. Mighty Fine is fine, assuming you can look past their idiosyncrasies.

Fine diner is open and the food is fantastic! Do not be fooled by the for sale sign. The business is open and rocking! It’s just the building for sale. Looking forward to my visit at the weekend.

Don’t let the name fool you. This is not a typical«diner.» Food is beyond compare! Staff treats you like family. There can be a wait on the weekends but it it worth it to wait! We moved out of the area a few months ago and travel back to Clinton just to eat here. Highly recommend!

Love this place. We live locally and go often. Great food, pleasant staff and portions large. Half the time I take something home to enjoy later. Best home fries I’ve eaten and burgers, wraps, Reuben are my faves. Limited parking but gives you an excuse to walk around town after your meal. Never had a bad or average experience. Highly recommend.

Perfect! Fresh, cooked perfectly– had breakfast. They don’t get chintzy with the ingredients, everything was great! Service was exactly what you need at a diner, not too intrusive, but attentive enough to keep the coffee cups freshly filled.

Update. Still haven’t had the carby breakfast but just had another salad — seriously outstanding. Terrific authentic diner. Had an outstandingly fresh and well crafted salad. Would love to return for a carby breakfast. Fresh brewed ice tea was refreshing and lemony.

Love the Fine Diner. I have been going for over two years and I went there again this morning for breakfast. The staff is exceptionally friendly and very attentive. The food is great. I especially like their Maple Pecan French Toast. Generous meal for a great price.

Love the«Fine Diner»! My daughter and I were east from California. Feeling nostalgic, I decided to show her the real New Jersey – not the stereo type portrayed by that stupid mtv show – let her see, first hand, why new Jersey is called the garden state. We headed west on 78 to the country(my native homeland) for breakfast. We easily found the«Fine Dinner» located in the cute little town of Clinton. The food was good. The portions were generous. Best of all, the service was spectacular – honestly, we felt like royalty. Maybe because my dear long lost friend from high school owns the place. Maybe not, as she seemed to greet every customer with causal grace and enthusiasm. Most everything changes with time. Fortunately, my friend seems to be the exception: cheerful, full of life, bubbly and energetic like a 16 year old. Check out the fine dinner, you won’t be disappointed.

We were traveling in the area and the breakfast menu, rather than the usual, had really wow sounding items do off we went and it didn’t disappoint. My Brie, ham and scallion omelette was fluffy, light and hot– just perfect. My daughter ordered the smoked salmon with cream cheese omelette that also was super. The service was cheerful and right on– excellent start to the morning. Wish they were closer to me because I would so repeat this spot.

I have been here three times and I have been impressed each time. The place is packed for lunch, so expect to wait, but it’s worth it. Personally, I cannot stop craving their chicken. It’s really well cooked and the buffalo wrap is to die for. Yum yum! I wish they had better parking and a bit more seating, but the actual food and staff are superb.

I never went here but my friend’s son is the chef and I have been enjoying his yummy cooking for years whether at a party or for a holiday dinner. Next time I’m at my friends house in Clinton, NJ I will be sure to try it. Any diner that garners 4−½* on Unilocal is the place for me. Go Phillip!

I came here a month or so ago since it was a good meeting place halfway for my friend and I and it had gotten great reviews online. The parking is a bit tight here since the diner doesn’t have many spots out front and it’s right next to a bridge, so be prepared. The service was pretty good overall(they were a bit slow bringing the check) and the people were quite friendly. We both got ommelets and they were very good(home fries were tasty too). The only thing I really didn’t care for was the coffee — it was pretty undrinkable and I’m a guy who loves his coffee. It’s a nice place overall and they do make a tasty breakfast. I’d come back here again if I was in the area!
