A shame the people who work there are so rude! Been that way since I was a kid. It is wonderful to have a town hardware store even if you pay a bit more it is the convience. I do not like to go there as they are acting like they are doing you a favor! Learn how to treat a customer with some respect !!

Awful… and I mean awful. I recently went in looking for something. I asked a man for some help and what I got was a whole lot of attitude. Tried to make me look like an idiot. This is not the first time this has happened. Believe me… I spoke to a lot of people and I’m not the only one. Serious attitude problem. I’m a firm believer of shopping local. but when you add in much higher prices and attitude… no way. Sorry Hometown… I’ll shop some where else. p. s. Mr. Attitude. I googled what I needed… AND I WAS RIGHT!!! AND I’M A WOMAN. Shame on you!

Can I give less than 1 star? This place used to be great. I understand how the small hardware stores have suffered since the influx of the big box stores.
These guys used to be ok, but a few years ago, all their long-time guys left.
Now this place is horrible.
I went in recently, needed some non-staining plumbers putty. The sold me some, it said it was stainless… now, I know this means it will cause less staining than other varieties. Anyway, it completely ruined by marble vanity top. I had asked several of their «helpful hardware folks» if this was the product I needed, they all agreed it was the perfect, stainless product.

Love this place. Old school small town hardware stores are rapidly disappearing, so it’s important to give them your business whenever you can.
This one is classic. On a corner of the main street in the center of a suburban downtown. Across the street from the town diner. They can match any odd nut or bolt you have. The aisles are jammed to the ceiling with lots of odds, ends, and unexpected tools and gadgets you didn’t know you need… but now you need!

Not only the guy was unhelpful, he gave me an attitude as i am not welcome.
later on i found out that i paid $ 6 on something that cost near my NYC office hardware store just $ 3.50
