Lake Wylie Liquor Store

They were the only store in the Charlotte, metro area (we live in Cornelius) that carried a special chocolate liquor we wanted. We usually make periodic liquor trips to Frugal McDougal to save a few bucks, but this is our new store after last night. Realized we were out of Makers and were pleasantly surprised that the ½ gallon size was even a few bucks less than MacDougal’s, plus they had a nice selection of Bourbons and scotch.
I love small business done right, and the owner Vince and his staff were all friendly and knowledgeable and bent over backwards to wait on us. When the owner is there on a Saturday night, it says something about his passion. Talking to the staff when he was out of earshot, the cashier told me about his community involvement and financial support. Unsolicited she raved about what a great place to work Lk Wiley Liquor is. They aren’t a warehouse, but they definitely have everything you would expect. Fun part for us was the eclectic choices such as custom barrel Crown Royal, wine tasting, closeouts of French and Napa wines, and small sample discount bottles to choose from. Young guy even carried the boxes to my car.

The people here are always helpful and friendly. They are supportive of the community as well as our troops. A «good neighbor» business
