Was traveling west with a buddy and stayed at the motel 6 near by. After 10 hours of driving all we wanted was to chill out and drink a couple of beers. Sadly, it was a sunday, and to our dismay Indiana wouldn’t allow us to to pick up a 12 pack and drink it up at our motel. We did the next best thing and hunted out a local bar. This place screamed local as soon as we walked in. After hanging out at the pool table for a bit we started to realize how friendly everyone was. Drank away, made some friends, and learned some pool tricks. The beer was cold and cheap and the people were great. I would defiantly roll through here again if im ever around. –1 one star cause it ends up they were smoking crack

I stopped in here with my girlfriend in the middle of the day on a Saturday. We were just passing through and had never been in before. The place was full of locals drinking and having a good time. Everyone could tell that we were out of towners, and came out of their to stop by and say hello. The crowd was friendly, the beers were cold, and the price was right. I’ll be stopping back in next time I pass through. Make sure you bring cash though because they don’t accept cards.

Ye Olé Inn has been open since 2004 in a building that has served many purposes: previously a video store, before that a furniture store, and originally a 1940s gas station. These eclectic uses explain the unique layout of the bar, broken into multiple rooms. There’s a pool room, the main bar area with the jukebox and a 3-sided arcs-haped bar, and a back nook. It was pretty quiet here tonight, unusually so according to the bartender. She kept us entertained with conversation and kept the beer flowing. This was a nice place that I’d happily visit again when passing through.
