My friend and I went in on a Saturday morning(around 8am) and were so excited when we saw all the yummy choices they had on display! We ordered many choices and were satisfied with them all. My first time having a Cronut! What’s not to love about a croissant and donut?! Everyone in line received their donuts in a box and my friend and I were confused why our donuts were all in bags… we had a total of 5 bags in our hands leaving and we finally asked for a box since we were heading home with them. Other than that, great donuts!

I checked in thinking I can redeem my free donut with any kind. Unfortunately, their cronuts aren’t included in that free donut check-in. Oh well, the strawberry custard cronut was still yummy. It had a flaky crust and it wasn’t too sweet. Too bad they didn’t have the Nutella cronut when I went. Definitely will be coming back. By far the best donut shop in the Clovis area.

I definitely like this place a lot. The doughnut holes are delicious, but the specialty doughnuts and where its at! I had a cronut covered in nutella. Honestly though, you could put nutella on anything and it would be amazing.

I decided to try this place because of a write up in the paper awhile back. I was not impressed at all. The donuts were thin and greasy and had a flavorless glaze. I brought them home and my family didn’t even finish a half dozen and they got thrown out. I have had much better donuts from other donut places in clovis. I was really hoping for something special from this place but it just wasn’t.

Thank you for being so kind, being open today, and having such cute donuts. This donut shop is great. They’re always so polite and friendly and their donuts are always fresh today we went in and got a dozen, including the cutest turkey donut, donut holes, and 4 large milks for 18 bucks. You can’t beat that. They also have amazing cronuts here, which everyone should try. Hands down our go to donut shop.

When it comes to donuts in the Fresno area, it doesn’t get any better than Clovis donuts. They are still a bit unknown outside of Clovis, and in my opinion, are just 1 or 2 more crazy donuts away from becoming a travel destination. Locally, I think everyone needs to come here at least once for sure. My first cronut experience was about a year ago, and at the time, I thought it was the best thing ever. Second time around, the feeling isn’t the same. I think it was cause this one had custard, the first time it had Nutella I believe. Yes it’s good, but I’m hard to please, so this is more a reflection of me then the cronut. I was tempted to try one of their other concoctions, but I came for the cronut. They have a bacon maple bar, but there a better one on Maple and Herndon.

Very early this morning I picked up two dozen donuts as a sweet treat for my coworkers. Jealous? You should be because the donuts came from Clovis Donuts! These donuts would make Homer Simpson stop in his tracks and drool. I walked in and the shop smelled amazing! The first thing I spotted were the special donuts on the top shelf. There were fresh custard filled puff pastry with fruit, fun cereal topped donuts and even a bacon maple bar, YUM! I was so happy the shop was open so early, it was still dark outside and just after 6am when I stopped in. The location is very convenient, and parking is plentiful. The service is incredible. The woman working the counter wished me a good day several times. My order was simple, just a mix of 2 dozen, and it was a good mix. It seems like I had one of almost everything! This is the go to donut shop in Clovis and I can’t wait to visit again.

The Cronuts makes this donut store as famous as a landmark in Clovis, what’s cronut? oh its basically croissant and donuts married together and they had kids; so why the hype? because no other donut stores in Fresno sells them; yet be warned my sweet tooth friends, these donuts are so rare that even unicorns are easier to be found– come as early at 6am, but if you prefer to lolygag in bed, just give them a call as you wake up so that they could reserve some for you, its no joke they run out real quick, it normally gone my 8/9am. The reason these cronuts sells out so quick is because no other donut stores in Fresno sells cronuts and also these things are actually hard to make, apparently it takes 3 hours to make these. The only other place you can get cronuts is at two exclusive coffee house: Kuppa Joy in Clovis and Jitter Coffee House in Sanger. Anyways each of the cronuts is $ 3.75 each and they are big, like hamburger big, so although pricey the are worth every cent. There is also plenty of parking around clovis donuts, best to have this to go in my opinion, although they do have a cute casual seating area. Flavors offered includes: Strawberry filled, Nutella, Glazed, Sugar and Ham & Cheese, but these flavors changes every day, so call them ahead to see what the have. So is it really that good?, well to be honest yes it was really good, but you have to be a sweet tooth to appreciate it. The experience of eating a cronut is very different from eating a traditional doughnut. At Clovis Donuts, the cronuts are cut in half and filled with custard, flavored whip cream, fresh blueberries or strawberries. For one thing, the cream is evenly distributed among the dozens of pasty layers, so you never get hit with a giant burst of filing. The extra layers also mean more oil-dough contact, so it’s a more oily pastry similar to a fritter – a deep-fried dessert lover’s dream. The establishment is really clean and neat and ideal to sit down, although I rather ravenously glob the donuts at the privacy of my own home, with fresh latte. But anyways they also do offer other sort of donuts here, and some creative savory donuts like maple bacon. The owners are really sweet asian people. I would be back for more.

Small donut shop in Clovis and you can tell family run. Grabbed a French crueller, glazed twist, old fashioned, sprinkled and the surprise of the group was the blueberry glazed. It’s a pretty good little shop to get your sweet donut fix in the morning!

If you’re looking for gourmet donuts look no further! We bought an array of great donuts but the highlight of my purchases were the maple bacon bar and the Nutella cronut. The cronut was, by far, the best donut I’ve ever had. Worth the drive! We will be back!

Went in on a Sunday since I heard its the only place to get Cronuts in the area. I went around 1030am and called beforehand to see if they still had some of them and they let me know they only had one banana nutella one that they would save for me. The 12 minute drive was totally worth it. I bought the nutella cronut with banana cream and bananas and the glazed cronut with banana cream and fresh strawberries filling and of course a maple bar with bacon. I hope you have a good health and dental plan as this is a health hazard. Also make sure you have strong family support as this may lead to a downward spiraling addiction to these pure tastes of joy! Hope this served as motivation to go try them!

These 5 stars are STRICTLY for their cronuts. I’ve had cronuts from Sacramento and Los Angeles(both reputable high reviewed establishments), and these are easily hands down the best I’ve had. Previous cronut experiences made me wonder what the hell all the hype was about, but i feel like i finally understand with Clovis Donuts Cronuts. They are flakey, soft, buttery, tall and not overly translucent/crispy from the fry like everywhere else. I bought a few and they were all wonderful, I especially enjoyed the bacon maple cronut and crumb cronut. They also have a powdered cronut, glazed with custard and strawberry, and a nutella strawberry. All excellent. The custards aren’t too sweet and tastes freshly made. I believe these cronuts tend to run out quickly so call ahead to have them hold them for you if you’re really hoping to eat one but are’nt able to get there early enough(they run out as early as 8am sometimes). If you’re a cronut fanatic, this is an absolute must try.
