Best extra cheese pizza ever, sometimes I get a lil crazy and have them add fresh mushrooms when my mood calls for it, lol. The older gentleman that works there can seem rude or somewhat unfriendly but after a lil while he seems to grow on you & you actually start to like him a lil more with each visit! Best pizza & Best prices.

Great pizza joint… we were wanting to watch a football game and they didn’t open till 11 but the owner went ahead and opened the doors for us to watch our game. So friendly and helpful. Their calzones are to die for too… definitely a great place to come and enjoy with your family.

I had ordered a large 2 topping for delivery was here in about 40 mins not to bad at all they had forgotten my ranch an jalapenos. But the savory taste of the cheese oozing pizza made up for it. Over all some decent pizza I prefer you order your pizza with butter garlic crust. It will be a amazing combination of pizza an garlic bread :)

Pizzas were very tasty and so were the garlic breads. Oh yeah they sell Xmas cookies already lol yummy chill place and very friendly service. :)

Pizza was good, wings were good, both were super hot. The owner was WONDERFUL! He was so friendly and chatted with us at our table for a while. We felt very welcomed here and will definitely be back!

We have ordered delivery twice and have been pleased both times. The pizza, garlic bread, and hot wings are all good. Totally friendly staff. They explained the orders and the specials to me over the phone. And that’s not something most staff at a pizza place will do because the phones are so busy. Definitely will keep going back.

Long story short, not everyone was on the same page. I live in another state and wanted to order pizza for a loved one. A few days before their birthday I called and asked if I could pay over the phone and have it delivered. I want to say I spoke to a manager or owner both times I called that day. They said we could make it happen. So, relying on this, I waited until the day of their birthday to order. Magically, my request was out of the question. I had to scramble to get another plan with their competitor, Sparta, a company that keeps their word, wants to make a good first impression, and helps when they can.

I’ve been going to this pizza place for over 11 years. This pizza place is by far my favorite pizza place around. You can’t beat the price as well. I highly recommend getting your pizzas as personal pizzas. They seem to have a softer crust, they are cheesier and more flavorful. When I order I get a personal for everyone. Their cheesy bread sticks are good too.

Best way to describe this place is as a casual pizza joint that is family owned. I’m not sure what they do with the pizza dough and breadsticks but it has a very unique taste Pizza Hut and dominos will never be able to duplicate. Wings are good I only wish they offered boneless. Dining areas consists of 4 – 5 long tables, a big tv and some old arcade games. When you walk in you get a good view of the kitchen where the pizza is made.
I have been here about 5 times over the years. I personally like this place I just don’t love it yet. They really should replace a few of their arcade games and keep the bathrooms better maintained. I have no complaints about the staff. They are always helpful and get orders out within 15 minutes and it always tastes great. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re with friends or family and want some pizza.

I’ve been coming to Double Play for years, hands down one of my favorite pizza joints. My fav is the «White sauce, mushroom and pineapple» pizza! It’s awesome. I will always be loyal!

Horrible experience!!! We used to order from them frequently, but never again. Called to get a price for 2 topping large and was told $ 8.99. Then called back to place order and total seemed high so asked what the prices of the pizzas were. Was told they were $ 8.99 + $ 1.50. Questioned the extra price and she said it was for the toppings. When I asked to speak to a supervisor she said, «No!» Then put me on hold. She came back on the phone and said, «That’s the price and you can’t change it. «I explained that was not the issue, but rather that we were just quoted something different. She became even more rude and said, «I told you it was $ 8.99+$ 1.50.» I told her that was not what was said and then canceled my order!

I’ve been going to this place for a couple years now. I wouldn’t call myself a regular (we usually only go for the playoffs or an important game), but I can definitely say the pizza has been great each time we’ve been. The pizza is always fresh, has a LOT of cheese, and they have a lot of choices in terms of toppings. Besides pizza, they also have wings, breadsticks, and a couple of good beers. They also feature a happy hour where the pizza is pretty damn cheap. There’s also a number of TVs for the sports fans who attend.
My only real complaint is that there’s sometime some pretty sketchy people walking in and out of the place, especially at night. It’s to be expected given the area. I’ve never felt unsafe, however.
Given the price, options, and awesome quality, I definitely recommend you give double play a shot.

We Loved it! The guy on the phone was funny. The pizza was done it 15min. The pizza was totally yummy!!! We just worked a 12 hour shift at the Pumpkin Patch and they made our night. We will ordering here again!

For some reason my 3 year old likes this pizza, as for me I’d rather just get a frozen pizza and bake it at home. Everything is just so flavorless, and the crust is like cardboard. Sandwich’s are meh, you have to pay to get drink refills, the 3 TV’s are blasting loud, staff is not very friendly, and the place seems dirty over all.

My family and I have known the owner since we started coming in a few years back. We now frequent here so often that we call in and say «Hey, it’s me. I’d like to order my usual. See you in 20 minutes!!» He is always very friendly and the staff is laid-​back.
The pizza is AMAZING. I love that I can spend 20 and get a large half combo/​half double pepperoni, large mozerrella garlic cheese bread, and 4 large drinks. Now that is a bargain, and you still have leftovers to take home. Small beer selection, but hey, their specialty is pizza, not beer.
The place is a little run down, so if you’re looking for a state of the art place, then you may need to go somewhere else. But don’t let looks deceive you. This place has some killer pizza and I love bringing people here to see what I’m talking about.

You remember that time when you fed your kid takeout from some restaurant and then the next night, he banged on his door, screaming, «I’m gonna puke!», and your husband ran to his room and opened the door just in time to have his feet coated in vomit?
And then he got the child all cleaned up and brought him into your bed, because the rule in your house is that when one of the chili beans are sick, they get all-​night snuggles from Mommy & Daddy? And then after the kid is snuggled right in between you and you’re about to doze back off to sleep, you’re suddenly awakened by the sound/​smell/​feel of puke on your sheets/​kid/​pajama bottoms?

If you’ve eaten here at all recently, check yourself. I was here on Dec. 13 and what I saw while waiting for my food was so appalling that I should have had the good sense to demand a refund.
Upon walking in, the first thing to great me was a filthy high chair on the left hand side of the cluttered front of the restaurant. Not just stained from the last 50 kids who’d had the awful misfortune of having to eat this garbage, but the actual «food» they left behind. Disgusting. But I think, maybe they just moved it there and haven’t had time to wipe it down. So I proceed.
Then I get to the counter, where I order my food and pay. I leave to do some shopping and come back about 20 minutes later. This is where the fun starts.
— I notice the same girl who is taking phone orders go back to help finish sandwiches and prep pizzas. The problem with this is that she touches the phone, the cash register, the pen and her face the entire time, then hops back on the line WITHOUT washing her hands or gloving up. (Did you sense that full-​body shudder I just had?)
— Same girl constantly touches her face and hair and wipes the sweat off her forehead while touching food. Again, no hand washing or gloves in site, for her or any of the cooks in the kitchen. Mmmm. e Coli pizza with extra cheese, please.
–There’s a woman there with a mullet. How do I know she has a mullet? Because her hair is down. No hat, no hair net, no hair tie. Just down, like she in her own kitchen making a hair sandwich for her kids.
— The owner is back in the kitchen, leaning against the counter, eating what looked like potato salad out of a giant container. Dude. There be 15 tables and probably a breakroom in the joint. Nobody wants to see your big hole flinging specks of food onto a (what may have one day been) clean surface. YUCK.
I’m surprised no one has died from food poisoning here. NEVER, EVER again.

This place has great service and food. Their large pizza’s are only $ 10 – 11 for a 3 topping or combination (I always get the combination). I came here for the first time about a month ago, and I’ve been coming back every week since my first visit. I even bring my friends who have all become fans of this place as well. The salads are a good deal.
Pros: Good pizza, Salad, Buffalo Wings, $ 6 pitchers of beer during happy hour (After 9pm), but still isn’t too expensive during the day. Customer service is excellent, plenty of seats, ESPN /​News channels are always on.
Cons: They charge for ranch sauce and soda refills.
Suggestion: They really should get a Karaōke Machine and have karaōke nights. I think it’d be a big hit (According to my friends as well).
