The Food Hut 2

We ordered the pizza burger. It’s a round piece of dough with a hamburger patty and tomato sauce and cheese. It was good but I feel like I could make it myself.
The burger was over cooked for my taste. And seemed dry.
It was worth trying once. But I won’t be ordering again.

I have had great food here before but today was awful. I have never ordered sandwiches but I thought why not. Not sure if this is all the time or just maybe the lady that was working there but our Hot pastrami was not even closed to being toasted or hot. As cold as if it was taken straight from the fridge. Fries didn’t have any seasoning so you can taste the freezer. The garlic chicken was room temp and didn’t have any garlic. The bread was broken so I couldn’t even hold it without falling apart. There was just no attention to the prep work. Prob won’t order again if she is there.

We had the combination large pizza and a large pepperoni special. Pizza tasted great and the customer service is excellent as well. They have a wide variety of food, I’ll be back to try some of the other items on the menu.

This place is LEGIT! The best pizza in the Fresno area! So glad there’s a true NY style pizza place around that serves NY style think crust pizza – we didn’t think we’d ever find one – thank God for the Food Hut 2.

Best price to quality value I’ve came across for pizza. Love that it’s close to home and that they are always on point with service. About to head there to try some dessert for the first time.

Decided to try a pizza here after purchasing the dealsaver coupon. The pizza was ok, did not add up to the raving reviews on here. Kinda reminds me of chuck e cheese pizza or school pizza. Our combo pizza was soggy and very bland. I suppose it’s ok for the price but I won’t be returning.

Great pizza, great price, great customer service. Restaurant is clean and staff is always very friendly and accommodating. I wish we had discovered this place sooner! The pizza is delicious, and they have a little bit of everything here. I’d recommend the mango smoothie too! This place is definitely a little gem that you need to discover for yourself to truly appreciate.

PIZZA FRIES!!! I don’t think it’s on the menu, but you can still order them and they’re only like $ 5. It’s the only place I’ve heard of in Fresno that makes pizza fries. The stuff they have on the menu I haven’t tried (regular pizza, calzones, smoothies, etc.)
Five stars because of one of the young guys that works there. I order over the phone and he asks me at what exact time I want him to start making them so that they won’t be too cold when I pick them up. He might be the owner because not a lot of pizza places will go out of their way like that.

Ok so i found this place by accident. And i am so glad that i did. The prices are of a cheaper pizza place but the quality is very similar to me n eds. which is where my family and i usually order from. But once we tried this pizza we ate it for lunch two days in a row! The staff is very nice and professional, and the place is super clean and smells fresh and good. I really love this place and plan on ordering from them regularly.

Checking out the reviews on Unilocal I was totally doubtful of this place. It seemed too good to be true!
One of the things I noted was the noted closing time for Friday and Saturday was 11pm. The correct time is closer to around 10pm.
We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza take and bake. They upgraded us to the special with a 2L soda and garlic bread.
When we got home we were a bit disappointed. The white sauce was ranch and the buffalo chicken «sauce» was Sriracha. For the price, the food is really good. The pizza was good for the price but there wasn’t anything special.
The price is 5-​stars but I was very unhappy with the food we got. I would have wanted honesty. We got a Sriracha ranch chicken pizza not a buffalo chicken pizza.

The staff here are super nice and professional… One of the best pizza place in Fresno for a great price!

I came here for the first time today because I was on a mission. I am planning a Friendsmas party next month and spent a part of my day driving around town to various pizza parlors specifically looking for a venue that serves up a giant 28″-30″ pizza so that my party would have a ‘wow’ factor.
Wanting to try our The Food Hut’s quality, I walked in and found the place to be very clean and tidy. During my visit, I met the manager, Isreal, and based on his lunch recommendation, I settled on a personal pepperoni pizza and a glass of water.
I was shocked to learn how little I was asked to pay for my meal. My grand total was $ 3.75, and I was happy like a ‘fat guy with a cupcake!‘
The turn around time was quick. Ten minutes passed, and my pizza was out of the oven. It smelled delicious. I was so anxious to try this pizza that I did not allow time for the pizza to cool. I burnt the roof of my mouth on the first bite, but it was worth it. The pizza was delish!
The only other place I visited on my quest to find a place that served a giant pizza, is Popolo’s Pizza, but it is super expensive and the service at Popolo’s is not as friendly as The Food Hut’s. Popolo’s charges over $ 80 for a 30″ pizza that I could get for $ 36 with a free two-​liter soda at The Food Hut. And since price matters to my roommates and I, we are convinced after my journey to find the best-​valued giant pizza in Fresno, that we will be ordering from The Food Hut next month for our party.
This is a well deserved 5-​star review for The Food Hut. I will be back.

I’m driving down the street looking for a place to grab a quick bite. Literally, I drive past this place at least 4 times a day. What drew me in was the price of their pizza. I knew I wasn’t gonna get a pizza, but they also had subs. I don’t know what I’m gonna get, and I generally steer away from burgers, but then I see it. The new burger pizza! It sounds delicious and weird at the same time. So of course I have to try it. A little over 10 min later, I’m walking out with my food. Not a bad wait. I agree with another Unilocaler who said the fries get soggy sitting in the Styrofoam packaging. I didn’t drive very far, so I can only imagine if I had to drive home. I didn’t care for the fries, but I did like the seasoning. I can’t wait to get into my burger now, not knowing what to expect. At first bite, I’m like, ok, this isn’t bad. Next bite, I hit a pepper. Not too spicy. As I continue to eat, the novelty wears off. It’s just ok, and I didn’t even finish it. I think different fillings would make it better, but then it would be a «pizza» burger. Oh well, I tried it.

This is literal dog food. Nothing tastes like what it should. Bland, tasteless, yuck. Only thing that caught my attention was the price, but there’s a reason it’s so cheap.

Awesome pizza! Next time I’m have to try a milk shake! The staff was nice and welcoming. .a little small but food was good! We will definitely spread the word about this place!

the hidden gem of pizza. love the customer service, cleanliness of the environment. love the pizza i got say way better than pizza hut. portions of pizza are huge. u can request your pizza be cut in squares or slices. highly recommend coming here.

customer service is great here! the two male workers both helped me out to my car with my food! We ordered two 28in pizzas one the hut combo and the other being the garlic lover, i would have given this place 5stars but im a huge crust lover and this pizza had NO crust it was just flat and crispy… yuck! not my kind of pizza i didnt know i had to specify on the pizza i was never asked if i wanted a flat crispy pizza or a yummy pizza with a good crust.

*Better than Little Caesar’s pizza for the same price. The Food Hut has HUGE portions of good food priced at a GREAT discount. Some current specials:

They also have burgers, hot dogs, pastrami sandwiches, and cheesecake bites. All items are good and cheap. :)

Update: the pizza is even better. Foldable, new York style, excellent Pepperoni, and crispy, fresh tasting bacon. The value on the pizza is insane (20 bucks for a 28 inch pizza to feed 6 easily?!) do yourself a favor, ignore the name and give this place a go next time you were thinking about getting a hot n ready.

We tried this place because friends recommended the giant pizza. We ordered a large pizza and I couldn’t believe the price I mean $ 4.99 for 1 topping that is a great price and it’s not a take and bake, Wow right.
So I got two large 1 pepperoni and 1 pepperoni with mushrooms and an order of fries. All for $ 14.95 its the best deal ever.
How does it taste? We loved it the smell is amazing and the sauce perfect also they were not cheap on the toppings filled the entire pie. I do recommend asking for the fries in a bag because the styrofoam containers make the fries soggy. If I am near I will go back.
