Walked in on a Sunday afternoon. Was greeted with a smile so that was cool. Spent 30mins looking through used CDs since it was a buy 1 get 1 for $ 1. Finally got to the register to pay came out to $ 17. All I had on me was $ 100. Was told I would have to spend $ 30 for them to break it. And that was from the manager I believe. Told me to go to warrens to break it. Come on its 230pm fye doesn’t make enough money to break a hundred dollar bill??? Rasputin would’ve taken it no problem.

F.Y.E is one of my favorite stores! You can get movies, old or new for great prices. Also Music and T.V. shows. You can find almost every movie you are looking for. Also great customer service. The employees are always super helpful. If your in Fresno check it out.

Pretty okay selection of music, nice employees. I can’t always find what I’m looking for here, though. Also the prices on the CDs are outrageous compared to Rasputins, Best Buy, or online.

Since I don’t have a computer and hate wasting money on a cd on which I only like 5 songs, this is the best place to make your own CDs!

This store was totally a time warp to the 90s — I don’t know if it was the customers, the size and inventory of the store that harkened back to the days of the Wherehouse, or the constant foot traffic, but it was totally bizarre to someone who lives in an area where FYE is synonymous with«ghost town». There was a TON of used inventory here and many interesting items that I’ve either never seen or usually don’t see — the only downfall was that items were jumbled on the racks and only a handful of things had title cards. My local FYE is organized to a tee — but they also aren’t as busy or as heavy on inventory as these guys are. But it was still dismaying and made the shopping experience a very jumbled and confounding one — many titles were in the wrong spot — and even in the wrong genre — frequently. I did find some cool things here and it is an impressive store but one that is not intuitive and not easy to peruse. I did find it interesting that they had a ‘make your own CD’ section with computers and downloadable songs for purchase. It was also made poppin’.

I went here with little hope. knowing this store carries used games, I thought maybe the stars would be aligned just right tonight and they would carry the newest xbox 360 game that my kids have been wanting and HELLYEAH! I snatched it up for half the price of a new one. 5 stars for that!!! They don’t have a huge selection of games, but if you can’t find a movie here in their huge selection to choose from (ok, that sounded too commercial, but it’s true) then they will order it for you and call you when it comes in, and that goes for used movies too. As I was looking for a certain movie for my dad, from the corner of my eye someone was totally too close for comfort and invading my personal space so I pulled my purse a little closer to my hip and started trying to remember the moves I learned in the self defense course I took 10 years ago, but it was just a store associate coming over to ask what they could help me find. After picking myself up off the floor from the shock of actually being asked if I needed assistance, I gave them the title and it was ordered, USED and I pick it up next week. I didn’t have to search a store to try to find the associate hiding in the back or interrupt those two that seem to think that their weekend plans are soooo much more interesting than having to help a customer. They don’t work here!!! I’ll be back!
