love this place! little mom and pop with great authentic Mexican food. I have only eaten breakfast here but in fairness I’m from out of town and I only have a few days to try different places but I always make it a point to have breakfast here. Probably the best refried beans I have ever had and everything is made in house and fresh. I had the heuvos el mexicana with Barbacoa, fantastic!

Went for breakfast and was greeted when entering the door. Staff was attentive and pleasant. The food was excellent and served quickly and arrived hot. The décor was fairly bland, but the dining area and counters that I could see were clean. Prices were about average for breakfast. Everything appeared to be cooked from scratch. The papitas(small, square fried potatoes) were over cooked.

The only complaint I have is their hours. I go to the tattoo parlor and see this place all the time, but they are always closed. The food is good and the service is nice. Definitely a lunch time restaurant.

Mamacita’s is our favorite Mexican Food joint in Clovis. Highly recommend! The king burrito is fantastic and big enough to feed two. Recommend the carne abodaba meat.

To the previous reviewer asking what kind of restaurant is only open till 2: the kind that only serves lunch and breakfast. Even that review says the food is just as good as it ever was, which yeah the good is great. If the hours are an issue, plan on eating dinner elsewhere, but Mamacitas is a great place for lunch. Red salsa is spicy but the green will leave a mark! Don’t miss the Tres Leches cake: I couldn’t resist and I’m glad I didn’t.

When this company got bought out by a new owner, everything went downhill. The food is still the same, so that’s good, but when you are only open until 2PM on any given day of the week, there’s an issue. What kind if restaurant is only open until 2 on a Friday. Horrible.
