This place is hit or miss for household items you need for your home. Love the fact of supporting a noon profit, but not knowing what you’ll find can either make or break the drive out here. I give props to this organization for organizing a whole bunch of stuff that would otherwise be headed to a landfill. Definitely come here before stopping at Lowe’s(it’s right behind it). You may find what you need for a fraction of the price.

I tried a few months ago to get three boxes of new tile, a window AC and a freezer picked up. I’m going to try again today as the puck-up never happened even though all that stuff sat out in front of my garage for two weeks.

Over the years we have donated a lot of good quality items. I’ve tried for several weeks now to arrange a pick up and they keep flaking out, not contacting us/returning calls, and just not showing up when they say they are. Had I known what a hassle this was going to be we’d simply have given it to the Fresno Rescue Mission Thrift Store. We tried to help you, Restore, with a newer 8 ft ladder, 4 newer florescent shop lighting fixtures each with 4, 4 ft working bulbs, a box of tools and some other stuff, but your system is really flaky. BTW: after your driver failed to follow through the last 3 weeks, scheduling and then not coming each of those 3 weeks, he personally guaranteed me he’d be ‘the driver’ and would be coming today. It’s 1PM and they’re STILL no call and I’m pretty sure based on the previous patterns that no one is coming. –G

I’m getting ready to start a building project and after seeing the tv ads about this place and browsing their website, I decided to drive over to check it out. I was in the market for wood or wood doors. I was under the impression that items here were leftover products from building Habitat of Humanity homes. I expected quality items, for good prices. This is what their ads claim. I was under the impression that they had a lot of wooden doors for prices starting at $ 5. From their website it made it look like these were normal sized doors. Boy was I ever wrong. They had a lot of doors that had holes and cuts and in poor quality. These doors had prices of $ 55 and up. I was in disbelief. The only doors they had for $ 5 were the size of a doggie door. Complete waste of my gas and time!!! The rest of the store had a lot of overpriced junk! Broken ceiling fans for $ 30 up. Busted desks for $ 65. A broken tv stand for $ 70. They are fricken crazy here!!! I wouldn’t pay $ 5 for anything they had in that sorry place.
