Walmart Supercenter

I actually enjoy shopping here. But, I can do so without having my hand held. I know going in I will get zero help in finding anything. But everything is so laid out a third grader should be able to find anything. No I am not gonna get the flashy shit Target offers. But that is not why I am here. I am here for the cheap groceries. Plain and simple. I do not come here for designer sheets. Or fancy curtains. But I can get cheap dog and cat food. Or motor oil. So yes I highly recommend this place. It’s great.

As far as Walmarts are concerned, this is the best one and also my local one

Let me start with I created this to leave this comment. You have a gentleman working for yall ss a greeter. I can’t remember his name but I can assume you know who im speaking of. This gentleman is always in the absolute best mood ever. Chipper as can be. I mention something about him being awesome every time my wife and I go in. He makes my walmart trips a positive experience. As many know walmart trips can be stressful at best. And this guy honestly makes me look forward to going. I hope whoever monitors these comments gives him the biggest pat on the back. He deserves it 110%

While the choices are usually there, this store is always empty. No deli meat, no vegatables. seems like every shelf had only 10% of choices to purchase. Bigger then they can handle or very poor purchasing management. I would recommend vons or savemart right down the street. They may be a little more but they will at least have food to choose from. Extremely disappointed.

I’m always Target over WalMart, but this is a Supercenter and have more stuff. For pricing, I have a Target credit card and get 5% off, so I’m better off at Target. I went during the Black Friday craze last Friday and comparing the two, Target seemed to have it together since this one’s a big mess and not because it’s Black Friday. People don’t know where things are and it seems out of order at times, but it’s also a big place anyhow. I like this Walmart’s grocery side and large selection of items, but, again, I’d rather go elsewhere if I could, especially Target.

Some customer services were good and some were not. I drove 30min to that specific Walmart for a game that i have been saving money for. I went to the electronic place and the guy was super lazy. I asked him if he had a game that I searched on their Walmart website and it said they had it available at the store, he just said no, they don’t have it. I asked him to check his jedi (his hand held scanning device) to scan and see if it they had the game in the back or it must have been displaced, but he said he didn’t have a jedi (which he could have went to get from the cashier place located in the electronic area or ask another employee for one). I asked if he can call the other store or check his jedi to see if other Walmart store has it. He said he can’t because a jedi can’t be used for that. I used to work at Walmart in the jewelry section, I know you can do it and I know that every department has to have at least one or two jedi, especially in the electronic area. I knew he was being lazy, so I told him «yes you can look it up with a jedi, you need to learn it» and I walked away. FYI, it was a slow Wednesday night and he didn’t even had any customers to attend to. Fyi, I’m usually a nice customer, but this guy was not trying to help me in anyway possible. I don’t ever go to this place anymore.

Awesome location but AWFUL customer service availability!!! Prices are ok since they are Walmart but there are ALOT of things I can buy at a better quality store for cheaper!!! Then there are never workers when u need them and when called takes forever n by time they get there I have answered my own question. Groceries and meats are as expensive as goin to Vons and bulk frozen foods are even cheaper at Costco They just began having bamboo pillows and SAMs club has them even cheaper!!!

Don’t shop at this Walmart there is no customer service and you called to complain they transfer you and you’re on the phone trying to get transferred for 30 minutes or longer and even when you talk to manager they could care less they just say come up to customer service and will just return it for you instead of trying to help the customer if you’re trying to buy something that means you need it not that you want to return it instantly especially crutches
Not too many places in town carry crutches and there’s only a limited places you can go
So I don’t shop there because their customer service and their management is rude

It looks clean and mega stocked because it is so big, but, every time I actually am looking for something here, it looks messy or un-​stocked.
The size of the place is massive, but you still may actually walk out without fulfilling your list of items…

Horrible service they say there return center closes at 11pm on the phone and you get there and it’s closed .Its 10pm ! And you also will be lied to and told that you do not get a receipt for cash transactions? The level of professionalism in this place is ridiculous. I will never go back to this Walmart again this place is a joke.

I went to process a return today and Maria was the CSR that helped me out. The system went down and before she knew it the line was about 10 customers deep. She was apologetic and working extra hard to help out not only me but the other CSR that was trying to return a power wheels without a receipt. Maria had a great idea about how to return it to help the customer and was shot down by a manager. The manager was a transgender and had way to tight of pants on that revealed a certain area that is completely inappropriate for customers and co-​workers to have to witness. I do not discriminate against transgenders but her pants were completely inappropriate and something HR should speak to her about. The manager also requested for a backup cashier when she should have been the one to jump on a till. Back to my review of Maria, she was able to process my return with store credit.

I have never written a review, but I’m just so livid after today’s experience I just need to vent. I am not fond of Wal-​Mart, for many reasons. Mainly the staff, and the many rude shoppers. Seeing how this one was in a nicer part of town, I expected to have a good experience. Boy was I wrong. This place might as well be like the Wal-​Mart located on Kings Canyon. The only one who acknowledged us was the greeter when we walked in and the cashier. We needed a desk, a tv stand, and a filing cabinet. Tell me why ten employees, yes TEN employees walked right by us without any eye contact while my sister and I struggled to lift the boxes of furniture into our cart. Two were clearly managers. One just stood their in the electronic isle staring. I said help, gosh darn it.
This didn’t happen once, but three times! In three different locations. What does HELP mean to these people? These KIDS wearing the stupid uniform going around talking to each other rather than helping customers need to learn a thing or two about working. And the one who did help us didn’t even know where the filing cabinets were. She just gave us a very general area, and my sister and I still had to go around looking for it. If we hadn’t driven all that way and if we hadn’t struggled so hard to get all three boxes of furniture into the carts on our own, best believe I would have walked out after I unloaded everything and placed them on the floor of Wal-​Mart in the most random of places.
Thank you to the pregnant cashier who stepped away from the register and asked us if we needed help as I tried to transfer one box into another cart while the two other workers stood there chatting away. One clearly hiding behind boxes and the other not even greeting people as they enter. I wish I had gotten all of their names. I remember their faces though. I can’t stand people getting paid to do absolutely nothing.
Shout out to Target where we went afterwards and Office Depot where we went before coming to this overcrowded poop hole. You guys know what’s up. I’m done with Wal-​Mart and this rant. –Drops Mic–

This is the best Walmart in the Fresno and Clovis area that really lives up to its Super-​centre name in the view of the fact that it carries almost everything but also its super giant big store size with its HUGEEEEeee building that feels like an arena. You name it they got it (minus vision centre maybe):
— Complete groceries (just like at any of their neighborhood stores)
— Hardware (paint, screws, tools, bulbs, wire, fans and etc)
— Aquarium that sells fish — yes they do sell live fishes here and aquarium goods (not had the experience with their fishes but their aquarium supplies are solid and cheap)
— Garden good and plants (flowers, trees, seed, succulents and etc)
— Children and Infants clothing and essentials
— Packaging and moving boxes and material
— Crafts and arts
— Home decoration
— Furniture
— Electronics
— Photo centre
— Pet supplies
— Dvd’s, Games and more
— Pharmacy
— Women and Men’s clothing
— Kitchen good and appliances
— Car fixing tools, tires and etc
— Gym stuff like weights, weight benches, dumbell
— Bicycles and everything you need
— Seasonal decorations and party items (cards, gift wrappers and etc)
— and maybe more stuff that I can’t think about.
But be realistic, this is Walmart after all not the ritz carlton, so don’t expect like above and beyond service, be independent and find things yourself. Walmart is known for selling things that are cheaper than its competition, not flamboyant customer service, you want that go to Target 2 miles west. Its pleasant and good enough service at this Walmart and I haven’t had an issue. Customer service counter here is decent and most of their staff are friendly, returns are done without any problem as long as you have your receipt. Checkout is mostly a breeze, and this is good compared to other walmarts, checkout time is about 5 – 15 minutes, and they also have self checkout which makes things faster if your in a rush.
The hours aren’t 24 hours, but they open real early and close late. This store is big, so do plan to walk a lot and wear comfortable clothing when shopping. People who shop here aren’t the classiest people, nevertheless I have always felt safe here and there has never been a safety issue. Parking is plenty, its like football field of parking. Also I try to avoid weekends because it gets really busy. This Walmart also has cool vending machine like a key maker that charge $ 3-​$ 5 to make an instant key in like minutes and also a phone recycler. They also have redbox for DVD rentals here.

Good thing this Walmart was open late I was able to grab some hair gel right before my next day of work at 10 PM

I want to thank Walmart for reminding me of how much I love going to Target.
I have been to this location twice and both times I have left my items and walked out since customer service doesn’t exist here.
The first visit I made was last year and I needed assistance getting something heavy into my car. The cashier called for assistance over the intercom and I proceeded to wait for 15 minutes. During that time, I witnessed two managers and five associates walk past me laughing and joking around. I decided to go to the customer service center and return my items for a refund.
The second visit I made was today and I needed assistance in paint. There were two other people in the paint area waiting for someone to assist them and we all asked for assistance, but kept getting told, «He’s coming.» «He» never showed up and I waited for 30 minutes. I left my cart and walked out.
So thank you Walmart, I’m sure Target and Home Depot appreciate my business more than you do. They always have great customer service.

I visit this store atleast once a week to make purchases for my family. The employees are typically helpful and upbeat. Today I visited the beauty section where I found an employee named Sadie who was very rude and disrespectful. I tried to get her attention several times and she seemed to intentionally ignore me while she spoke to another employee about personal matters. I left and came back and I was finally able to get her attention when she then acted very annoyed to be helping me. I tried not to be bothered by it but when I asked her simple questions regarding about what I was looking for she was short and spoke over me with condescending answers. I couldn’t believe someone could possibly treat a customer this way. I was very polite to Sadie so I am not sure where the attitude came from.
As a paying customer I should not be made to feel uncomfortable just because I simply asked for assistance. I can easily take my business elsewhere so it is important to keep in mind that with out paying customers employees would not have a job.

Great store! Has everything. Staff is very helpful and nice. Great prices.
Only two issues. One, is some lick their fingers to open the plastic bags at check out. Gross! Two, they tend to be out of items a lot.

Giving4 stars just because it’s a new
Wal-​mart! What more can I say. I shop here at least once a week. I have a love/​hate relationship with the store but I do love the rollback prices. On this side north of Shaw you’re good!

Giving 4 stars just because their customer service is bad… waited in line for at least an hour just to find out that they won’t be able to exchange the item I have to the one I wanted just because it has a different design in the box even though it’s the same item.
Regardless about this incident, this is so far the most organized and cleanest Walmart I’ve been… and the biggest also. They pretty much have everything that you need here… kinda like one stop shop. From groceries up to outdoor stuff. They have nice and knowledgable staffs.
Parking is not a problem since they have a big parking space for everyone. 24 hrs it is that at any time I need anything… this is the place to go.
I used to not shop at Walmart but since we moved here in Fresno… this is the place to go groceries and a bit shopping. Thanks Walmart… but gotta work on you Customer Service Area!!!

I’m updating my review because this new Walmart has gotten better. The Pharmacy is fast and stream-​lined, everyone I asked (and I asked 4 employees) where «stuff» was and they all were courteous and actually KNEW where everything I asked was located.
Not the stumbling, bumbling newbies on my first visit. They were nice and knew those two words I so long to hear from humans, «Thank you» and «Your Welcome». :)
The store was very clean (still) and the employees were working and re-​stocking and adjusting. Even putting things back. It was very «pro» in my humble opinion.
I’m very proud of our new Clovis location! May I suggest you walk by the fan display? When you come in from the heat it’s really lovely and cools you off so you can get to your shopping in comfort. Walmart, they really know how to sell you «stuff».
So, they get my highest rating.
