By far the best tacos in town but what I love the most is that they have guacamole and a amazing salsa. I have been to both Coachella & La Quinta locations and they have great service in both. On the weekends the menudo is amazing & the fact that they run out of it should tell you that a lot of people enjoy it.

Wow talk about expensive. I had heard about this place being good. I finally went to try it. Ouch way over priced. Food is nothing to rave about. I make better food at home. Service is ok. Food is like whatever. I will not come back. The prices alone are what really brought the rating down. Are people dumb enough to pay the high prices? No thank you

La comida estuvo mas o menos. El servicio fue PESIMO!!! La verdad que no entiendo el por qué las meseras son muy lentas y aparte traen todo mal y por partes? La verdad antes estaba muy rico, ahora esta pésimo y aparte muy sucio.

We found a hair in our salsa! This is disgusting we told them and they laughed. They didn’t do a thing about it. I went to pay my bill and they couldn’t stop laughing. I’m not at all impressed by this place my money it’s better spent somewhere else.

I tried this place based on Unilocal reviews. The food was very good but the service was not. I waited 20 minutes to get my food. I will probably not come back just cause of time factor.

The one in Coachella doesn’t have same level of service as the one in La Quinta. It’s also more run down and the parking is more difficult. That being said, the food is amazing. My go to plate is the«Taco Gobernador» which is a shrimp taco. I wish they had fountain sodas, but they only have sodas in the bottle. I come here every other week for work, and it’s the highlight of my day LOL.

Omgosh when I heard this place had uchepos(corn tamales) I was ecstatic. They were so delicious. I was sad that they didn’t offer crema with it. Normally i use joqoque. That’s how I’m used to eating them but any how. The staff is friendly and corn tamales are the grestest. Must try if you haven’t.

This is one of my go-to spots when I’m craving some good, authentic Sinaloa-style Mexican food like abuelita used to make! Mexican food can be on the salty side, so be sure to speak up if you are watching your sodium intake. The ambiance at Los Corrales is average, but the place is clean and spacious. If you go at a busy time(like the weekend), it may take a while to get your food. A few things make it worth the wait: 1. While you wait to order, the server will bring not only the usual chips, but something special: a caddy with two different salsas, an avocado dip, fresh sliced cucumber and radish, and limes. And it’s FREE. With a full-sugar chilled Mexican Coca-Cola in a bottle, a Mexican beer, or an authentic Mexican beverage like horchata, you’ll be in a good mood! 2. The menu is varied and easy to read, with lots of pictures of their northern Mexican specialties like flautas, sincronzadas, vampiros and mulitas. The food tastes fresh and is lightly dressed with skinny slices of hot pink pickled onions, fresh cucumber slices, and crema mexicana or queso fresco. Camarones rancheros are my personal favorite, and I’ve enjoyed the pescado empanizado, a very lightly breaded fish. Portions are generous and the taste is gooooood! 3. They make their own tortillas throughout the day. The flour tortillas are as cute as they are good. They’re tiny– smaller than a typical corn tortilla and make your main dish taste that much better. 4. Service may be slow(they seem understaffed), but everyone is friendly and helpful. 5. One more unusual thing: You pay your bill at the counter after your meal. While you’re paying, you can pick up some Mexican candy for dessert! Check it out!

This place has the best tacos de «harina» on this side of the border hands down. Prices might be a little more expensive, but totally worth it.

Great little real mexican food. Handmade flour and corn tortillas. I’m thinking everything is handmade here. Food came quick and was hot with good flavor. I was greeted with a smile and for the price. well worth the chance. Good job. Had to order some tortillas to go.

Always drove by but never stopped in. Lately 3 of my friends mentioned it… Gotta try it out. Very clean, spacious and classy. Ordered street tacos(because that craving drew me there to begin with). Cant beat the price nor the homemade corn tortillas. Yumm. Gave it 3 stars because after all, they were street tacos. Will come back for more.

Great Mexican Sinaloa style cuisine. This place has great homeade tortillas its just a shame that the service is so slow. If they could get the service staff quicker or food out faster it would be a five star review easily.

You know you’re in for an authentic experience when a restaurant is filled with patrons of the same descent as the food. Embarking on a search for something other than corporate chain garbage near the Coachella Fest, me and my fellow adventurer randomly scoped out this little Mexican joint in the back corner of a shopping center. Inside is broad, simple and spacious. Seat yourself and peruse the photo menu for specialties like chorizo eggs, tacos and tamales. I went with the carne tacos which ended up being quite filling so three was actually two too many. Or perhaps I filled up so fast because I couldn’t help but order a $ 1.25 tamal de puerco on the side. Both were delish. The complimentary chips and selection of dips were a nice touch and the service was friendly but low key. While we were there we were actually the only gringos in the place, surrounded by Mexican families and friends. Worth a peek if you’re looking to grub in this area of town.

Excellent Sinaloa-style Mexican food. I had the tongue burrito. Very good and the chips are served with guacamole and some nice pico de gallo and other sauces. Overall, an excellent stop in Coachella.

I finally found a restaurant that makes«authentic» Mexican food in this valley! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been disappointed with other Mexican restaurants. This is truly the best that I have had in the Coachella Valley. They don’t just give you chips & salsa with your meal. You get fresh guacamole, the best pico de gallo I ever had, regular salsa, sliced cucumber and lime to go with your chips for no charge. I had the pozole served with shredded cabbage & red onions, and it was excellent. The pork was so tender that I could cut it with a spoon. I ordered the medium bowl and still had enough left to take home for dinner. My friend ordered a torta that was twice the size of any torta I’ve seen, and my other friend order a taco with homemade tortillas. The food was EXCELLENT. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for good authentic Mexican food for a great price. I can’t wait to try their restaurant in La Quinta closer to my house.
