I was pleasantly surprised at this seafood place. I was very skeptical at first being that it is a pizza/seafood place. We went for the Mothers Day seafood buffet and it was really good. We had a party of 7 and most got the buffet and some had a dozen crabs for great prices. The food was good and the crabs were meaty and tasty. Things we didn’t like: the tables were too close together making it hard to get in and out without squeezing through people and the menu is too busy. Other than that we had a very enjoyable experience with good food. I would actually rate the experience a 3 and the prices a 5.

Great view, great service! Loved the Ledo’s and the happy hour prices on beer were great($ 3/Blue Moon). Sat outside and enjoyed the afternoon. Very little business — hope they can stay open because I’ll definitelly be back.

If a waterfront view is your priority and not the seafood, then you will love this place! If you are a Ledo’s lover, this is your place too! Otherwise, look elsewhere. The server was very attentive. After all, we were the only diners in the restaurant portion. I suspect that is why the place was so cold. We ate in our jackets. The bar/pool hall section had a few men at the bar watching the overhead TVs. This is mainly a Ledo’s Pizza place. The Ledo’s menu is extensive, a tri-fold legal size glossy document with photos. The seafood menu, on the other hand, is one sheet of plain bond paper in plain print. On the seafood menu, there are 5 appetizers, 5 entrees and 6 sides. The sautéed scallops were delicious and fresh, 5 stars. The crab cake gets a .5(½ star), and I am being generous. I ordered it broiled and it tasted more like fried and was oily like old, stale, frozen crabs. The French fries were dull frozen potatoes; not even worth rating. I was scouting the place. My niece’s NY family of 5 want some SMD seafood while here for Thanksgiving. However, this is definitely not the place to showcase fresh MD seafood. I’ll have to take them to Solomon’s Island. I can get excellent seafood and a view in SI. I did not want to drag them to Solomon’s after they drove from NY but I have to do it. Most of the decent Charles County seafood places are closed for the season. St Mary’s County, here we come– a party of 7. I am adding photos of the seafood menu, the restaurant and the view. So much promise(they have the location) unfulfilled.
