Good food. Odd restaurant layout but that doesn’t really matter because … the food was good. The portions are larger than necessary. I tried a lot: — jalapeño poppers — house salad — baby back ribs — tritip — Mac n cheese — fried Oreos Ribs were my favorite. The tritip was good but I’ll try something else when I return.

Catered lunch for 140 people in October 2015. Delivery was prompt and Autumn was efficient, friendly and professional. We ordered tri-tip, pulled pork, mac and cheese, bbq beans and sweet potato casserole. There was plenty of food and no one went hungry, Plenty of sauces too but the meat was soo good, it really didn’t much sauce at all. One huge regret was not ordering a larger order of the sweet potato casserole. My eaters were disappointed that I only got a small tray of it. Tri-tip was awesome and it was the first to go w/the sweet potato casserole. It’s not to say pulled pork wasn’t good. It’s right up there. We are looking forward to ordering again next week, March 3rd for about 145 people. You will not be disappointed in the amount of food you get, the awesome service and the great tasting BBQ!

It’s near impossible to find good, authentic BBQ in FL, but Madd Jacks wasn’t too shabby. The sweet tea, sweet potato fries and mac-n-cheese were delicious. The brisket and baby back ribs were okay, but not spectacular. I would come back next time I’m in town to give it another shot.

I love the food, the atmosphere and the people! From the outside you would never know their personal struggles, but I do. I can honestly say that they have put everything into their work! They are dedicated, hardworking and produce a quality product! I have had a variety of items on the menu(pulled chicken nachos are a fav). The ribs are incredibly huge and super meaty, too! Homemade Potato Salad, coleslaw, mac-n-cheese are yummy too! Please come out and support the locals — they have a variety of food that will suit anyone. The food is delicious, the portions are generous and the service is friendly and efficient. Five Starts for sure!

Well they’re baaaaaack!!! And we are glad they are! One of the best bbq places in the state. I’ve lived in Texas and traveled extensively and I can say this place is the real deal. Tri tip is the cats pajamas I order it every time. Although the ribs are equally as good. Sides are excellent as well. Mac in cheese and sweet potato are personal favorites. New location is bigger and has better parking located further south of old location in A1A near downtown cocoa beach next to Ace Hardware. Don’t be fooled the old location has another bbq place already opened. Haven’t tried it and probably never will. Well worth the trip.

Madd Jacks is back! After a family tragedy and a forced move, they are back and it is great. I had the Santa Maria style tri-tip and the sliced pork. Great. My wife had the pulled pork and loved it. First day of the soft opening and the service was still spot on. I look forward to many good meals here.

Madd Jack’s has been my only BBQ for the past year-plus. The food is, simply, the best BBQ I’ve eaten in 30-some states. Texas, Louisiana, Missouri… doesn’t matter. The ribs here are simply out of this world. The second thing that is outstanding is the portion size. Some places will tell you a ‘rack’ of ribs is five bones(or other nonsense), None of that BS from this place. Despite being well under $ 30 for a plate of ribs, i doubt you can eat them all. I’m over 6′ and over 250#, and I have NEVER finished a dinner without at least two to-go containers. I love these people and I love this place. My biggest worry about my 2016 Birthday is whether or not their new location will be ready. If it’s not, I’ll probably be crying outside their door.

The Best BBQ on the Space Coast. All locals know the story of Madd Jacks founder and the tragedy they have suffered. His legacy and his dream lives on in the restaurant he founded and it thrives on the same the quality, quantity, and taste that had made them famous. The dream lives and the food is awesome. We went for lunch the other day and had a 2-meat plate with sides and apps. There was so much food that not only did I take home 3 to-go boxes but the lunches I made from them was almost too much. When you consider that at 6’4″ 280, I don’t usually take home a lot of doggy bags. :-) That’s really saying something. No complaints except that the St. Louis ribs were not trimmed and did not have the chine removed(squared into only rib portions like Kansas City). That’s usually the first thing you do when preparing and cooking whole racks of spare ribs. And if you don’t remove the chine it makes eating them quite tedious and annoying because you have to keep picking that stuff out of your food. It might just be a time saving measure but, easy fix, I’ll just get the baby back ribs next time. The brisket was great, the chicken was great and not over-smoked, the beans were stellar, and I love the horseradish in the coleslaw. Great job folks. We will be back and we look forward to your new location.
