Came on a Saturday for a drink and an appetizer. We sat at one of the tables on the dock with a nice big umbrella. The food is high here for the atmosphere but does seem to all be fresh. We had fried shrimp and a peel and eat shrimp app thAt was very tasty. All the drinks were very good. It was funny bc each time we ordered another drink, all the drinks were in a different glass. Service was very good and pleasant, Haley.

My past visits were good, we ate there recently June 4, 2016 — service was great, food and mixed drink was awful, we had grouper it was dried out and too fishy. The table next to us had the same complaint, not going back!!!

I had seafood platter it was over cooked and dry one piece of grouper 3 shrimp and 3 scallop? add a salad $ 25. there were 4 of us we had to yell in order to have a conversation the music was so loud topped with schitty service and a $ 124 tab I’ll never go back. co Mon man!

Senior special with the shrimp and scallops fries was very good. Also like the sautéed veggies and rice pilaf. Service was good and the karaōke in the bar area was entertaining. Nice view and has seating indoor and outdoor and the best is in between, covered but open air.

I’ve been meaning to write a review about this place and the only thing that I enjoyed was the view, everything else was just not good. The service was extremely slow, asked for water and right away you can tell is was tap water. The food was not great and it was pricey. I don’t mind spending for a good decent meal, but this was not it. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Why didn’t i listen to the Unilocal reviews! Ok for a drink but if you’re a foodie you will be disappointed! Hubby ordered the tuna and it was good. I had the seafood combo blackened. Overly seasoned! Service was quick and very friendly! Live music was nice. Nice view of the Indian River but too bad they are experiencing a brown alge bloom:(

Nothing to rave about regarding the food. Everything I’ve tried has been pretty bland and a lot of the menu items are served a la carte. I find it to be overpriced. The service isn’t all that great either. It will take awhile to get served drinks/food and you won’t be checked on often.
The only positive thing about this place is the view of the water.

Me & my parents sat at a table in the bar area to enjoy karaōke. After about an hour buying drinks, the busser asked if we were eating there. When we said no, he told us to leave the table to let other people eat there. Check, please! I really don’t understand establishments that don’t want my money. If you plan to just drink there, do not sit at a table, find a seat at the bar or just stand up. When I told the bartender we were asked to leave the table and we were going to pay up and go, she did not tell us it was ok to stay seated there, so I guess it is standard protocol. My mom has a bad knee so standing is quite difficult for her. Bummer, we were having fun.

Cheap drinks, always some sort of entertainment after 4 and a great view! Excellent tradition at sunset… i won’t spoil it but go see it for yourself. The food was typical pub fare.

Absolutely horrible. Horrible service and frozen fish at fresh prices. Do not eat hear. Only drink and enjoy the wonderful view. Go next door to florida seafood for fresh fish and prices that are high value for the dollar.
Only tourists eat at Sunrise.

This place could not have been more perfect. The food was good, the mojito was one of the best I’ve ever had. And the view was incredible! It’s called the sunset café for a reason. As the sunset we had a clear shot of it over the Banana River and right as the sun was going down a Dolphin decided to pop out of the water. I can’t wait to go back. Definitely one of the better places we went to.

Love it! Second time here and it was great again. Went with the suggested specials and was very happy! Bacon wrapped shrimp for a appetizer and mahi mahi crusted in crab! Nice environment with live music sitting outside. Crab cakes here are good also!

Watered down Piña colada, soggy unflavored fried oysters —
Staff seem overwhelmed and understaffed, food quality too low compared to the price, the customer service was poor and inefficient. Greatly lacked a managers presence.
