Despite not having the wine which I ordered off the menu, the wine I tried was delicious, the staff was friendly, the band was fabulous and the wine pricing was very affordable. This is a great place to hang out and enjoy great music and great drinks. Having been a fan of Venice Beach CA, it doesn’t recall this incredibly eclectic and singular location, having said that, it’s a great place to hang.

We met some friends here for a beer. It’s a all place only beer and wine. Saw some of the dishes come out of the kitchen. Looked ok. It’s a small place with some bar stools and patio furniture. Not realy what I expected.

It was very hard finding this restaurant today. A few days ago my husband and I gave up after circling the block several times, but today we persevered. There is no outside sign that says Venice, but it is right next door to Subway, and that is easy to find. We walked into a room that had people gathered around the bar and sofas and chairs grouped around coffee tables. Unusual! But the food is FANTASTIC. Our group’s favorite was Carne’V Alan, a sandwich on pressed Cuban bread with roasted turkey, red beets, grilled zucchini, caramelized onion, goat cheese and mozzarella cheese. Even our daughter, who doesn’t like beets, liked this sandwich and ate half of mine with gusto. If you’ve never liked beets, try this sandwich! My husband gave hearty approval to Costa Chifrijo, and the fourth in our group gave modest approval to his Argentine sandwich. Another customer recommended we try a Cuban sandwich — said it was the best thing on the menu. There are several other dishes we would like to try, so I guess we will just have to go back! Yahoo!

After seeing the reviews we had to check it out. Joy and Rico did not disappoint! We didn’t really know what to expect and as we peered in the window from the street we were waved in and greeted warmly. We enjoyed some drinks, an amazing appetizer– try the gaucho grill– and some great conversation with the owners and other patrons. We are only in Cocoa a week every year, but we will always return to Venice at Cocoa(at least a couple more times this trip).

«Hidden gem»! Homemade sangria was excellent! Food was unique and delicious. The Ropa vieja was amazing. The atmosphere was welcoming and conversations lively and enjoyable. Can’t wait to go back.

Let me start by saying when I first walked into this establishment I was impressed. It was bright and vibrant but felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, I only went late night for drinks and I didn’t have dinner there. However, if their food is even close to as good as their sangria is then I’m sure I’d be in for a treat. I consider myself a bit of a sangria snob considering I have access to some of the best portuguese and spanish places around and their red was delish! The service was really good, and the owners seemed to have a general passion for what they do. I loved the chalkboard back room area where I freely added my name. I loved the murals on the walls, it really reminds you of Venice beach, Ca. I think in general it just felt different from all the bars around downtown Cocoa Beach, and I look forward to going back. I’d highly suggest checking this place out.

Stumbled upon Venice during a short trip to Cocoa Beach and was treated to a wonderful experience! Tried Cuban espresso for the first time and it was delicious! Highly recommend stopping by here based on quality, atmosphere and service.

The ambiance is nice and the food, when it finally came, was great, but the service is incredibly slow. Also, I don’t know who owns the place because so many people helped themselves behind the bar, which is very off putting. It’s hard to write a negative review bc the bartender was just the nicest, but they need to be a little faster and let less fingers run over the counters behind the bar.

They have really good cheese plates and sandwiches not to mention several types of nice sangria with fresh fruit. I be back!

The coffee is not something I’m used to being from Seattle, it’s kind of like a happy pill for us. This place had Cuban style coffee. He was so friendly he could have sold me anything! Awesome staff although it was just one person :) he was awesome. Thanks for the great east coast experience!

What a nice breath of eclectic ambiance to our downtown area. Went in twice during the week of their«soft opening» and enjoyed some beers and a delicious cheese plate.(Variety and elegance spot on) My husband and I met the owners, chef, and Seth the bartender and what a pleasant group of people. Can’t wait to catch their live acoustic music sessions. Don’t forget to ask for a «muscle mug» to enjoy your beer.(Very cool little novelty) — Melinda and Robert
