I was headed to the neighboring Ford dealership when I spotted Arnold’s on Unilocal.My 2005 Ford Escape wasn’t shifting well. They quickly accomodated me without an appointment. They ran some diagnostics, suggested it wasn’t a major problem. I did get a tranmission service (draining 4 quarts of transmission fluid and replacing it). I think I was out the door for $ 73 with tax. It would have costed double or triple that for the dealership to run the tests. I appreciate that Arnolds didn’t try to stick me with an unneeded repair.
Arnold Wanger started the business in the 1960’s. Arnold has since sold the business to one of his long-​time employees. The technicians are well certified. Based on the long line of certifications on the wall, Chuck has been here since 1983.
