This was an amazing lunch. I had the chicken Cesar and it was very moist. The blacken grouper sandwich was cooked perfectly. Don’t let me forget to mention the soup. The tomato basil bisque was the best one i have ever tried.

I have been dining at Café Margaux for the past 20 years and, in my experience, no restaurant has ever been as consistently delicious or offered a more elegant atmosphere than Café Margaux. The wine list is one of the finest in Brevard County. I always am impressed with the wait staff who are all true professionals, knowledgeable of food and wine, and who insure that your fine dining experience feels more like something you’d expect to find somewhere like New York City. If you haven’t experienced truly fine dining in Brevard County you haven’t experienced Café Margaux. Try them and you’ll become a huge fan.

My wife and I enjoyed the Valentines Dinner. Food quality and portions were excellent. For a $ 95 per person price point a glass of champagne or wine should have been included. Other than that we so much enjoyed the experience and we will be back.

Went for Valentines Day as a surprise by my love. It was a 4 course meal with reservations at 8. We arrived an hour early and they graciously sat us early. Brian was our waiter and he was serious and comical at the same time. They let us finish our courses before bringing the next which was nice. We both had the lobster bisque which was, by far, the best we have ever had! Next, we had a Caesar salad which was spot on with the dressing! I got the rack of lamb and my better half got the filet/lobster combo. The rack of lamb was just simply amazing! The spices were spot on and the sauce under it wasn’t even necessary! The filet was so juicy and literally melted in your mouth. We have had filet at more than our fair share of pricey restaurants and this was the best! The dessert was crème brûlée and chocolate cake. Both were from heaven! Wait staff was top notch! Will be back without a doubt!

Had a lovely lunch of Coquilles St. Jacques. Rich and creamy. Tomato bisque soup was good as well. My husband had the Fettuchini with mushrooms and spinach. Very filling and rich as well. A nice relaxing place to eat in Cocoa Village. The wait staff were all exceptional. Made eating there that much more enjoyable

This a fav spot for an ExGF. The place is tiny. The service unbelievably good. The Food outstanding. Don’t worry about the price. It’s all worth it.

It smells musty as soon as you walk in the door. The décor could use some updating, it looks like something out of an 1850’s western. Service was so so, server corked our wine, but replaced it. Food was ok, nothing outstanding, but portions were big. Service could have been better, as there were few diners that night. Won’t repeat unless some changes are made.

Great food, service and ambiance! Atmosphere is super cute and sophisticated without being stuffy. All the servers that assisted during our lunch were very friendly, helpful and attentive. My mom and I both got the chef’s fish creation of blacked snapper with orange sauce. Very yummy. Mom loves the tomato soup and I was very happy with the house salad that came with the dish. Yummy cranberry dressing. Snapper was delicious. Cooked perfectly with the combo of blackened spice and sweet orange sauce. Server was also really sweet bc we had leftovers that they took back to box but it was accidentally thrown away(good to know they keep a clean kitchen) so she had them make us a whole new dish to go! GREAT service! Skipped dessert this day but Café Margaux is a must stop when in Cocoa Village so we will be back to try all those delicious looking desserts soon enough!

Have close friends in Cocoa Beach and have found dinner to be a better experience than lunch. As already mentioned, the restaurant is overpriced with extremely outdated décor. The service gets 5 stars as well as the presentation, but the actual food is simply average with a 5-star price tag. Enjoyed the chicken florentine though the carrot salad and instant mashed potatoes were disappointing. Dessert was lovely but nothing special. The ambiance at night helps.

Nothing tops this place. The food was out of this world. The service is among the best we ever had. Thanksgiving was the first time we dined there, but we won’t wait for another holiday to treat ourselves. Planning on returning every month, even if it is just to order dessert. The charming atmosphere makes you feel as though you have stepped back in time. Loved it!

What a wonderful restaurant! 4 of us had lunch here & were absolutely thrilled. The décor was outstanding & the meals were as good as the best we have encountered. My salmon omelet was fabulous as was the meals the other 3 in the party chose. Try this restaurant & you will be delighted.

Food was exellence but nothing special. We took the trio of the day. The café is placed on a lovely place, but interior design, seats and decoration never changed since the 50’s or so. My grandmother will love it, but for s younger couple(under 30) very oldfashioned. Great wine list!

The good: this is a very cosy, well decorated restaurant with a nice outside area for those who like to eat al fresco. The service was excellent, although it was a little weird that we had 4 different waiters during the evening. They do not rush you and do let you enjoy your conversation and meal. They have a great wine list for all tastes and budgets. For Appetizera, my wife had the escargot which she said were probably the best she had ever had. I had the Coquille St Jacques. Nice sauce but if anything the scallops were a little overcooked ie slightly chewy rather than melt in your mouth. The bad: Things went downhill rapidly when the entrees came out. My wife’s Beef Wellington was obviously not cooked. The pastry did not look at all appetizing and was raw. How the chef ever let it out of the kitchen I have no idea. While the Beef was sent back to try again, I got stuck into the duck. It was duck meat off the bone, wrapped in Duck skin and roasted. It looked great, the skin was really Crispy, but the meat had the texture of pulled pork, but drier. It had obviously been overcooked, perhaps sitting under the heat while the Beef Wellington was not cooking. I did eat half of it. But couldn’t eat it all. It was too dry. Where was the promised green pepper sauce? The Beef Wellington came back out but was now a big mess. My wife tried a piece of the meat and got a bad taste in her mouth and gave up. Our dinner was done. They were very apologetic and tried to fix things with free dessert or drinks but by then we just wanted to leave. They gracefully removed both entrees from the bill. We paid and left. I’m Willing to give it another try but my wife refuses and I certainly cannot recommend Café Margaux to anyone else.

I have a yearning for great french food. Luckily we have this fine restaurant. It is especially nice while taking in a show at the historic cocoa village playhouse. Go before the show and enjoy classic french dishes. Save room for dessert because they have a great selection of sweets.

WOW. Party of 4, celebration dinner that we were invited to. The décor is so queer and it took 30 minutes to get our drink order. So the ladies had the fish special. Not so special and I ordered the Beef Wellington. Oh man did it suck. How is Filet tough? I have prepared Wellington and I blew this away by miles on my 1st attempt. I they are going to serve this crap they should just take it off the menu. What a joke. not impressive and for being a top rated establishment in Brevard they should be ashamed.

We went to Café Margaux at the suggestion of and accompanied by my wife’s mother. Though this charming restaurant may give an initial appearance of a throwback best suited for ladies of «a certain age,» it in fact offers impeccably cooked food with first-rate service in a romantic and comfortable setting. I started with a Caesar salad, so often a generic mix of romaine and croutons with a vaguely garlic-infused dressing. Not so at Café Margaux, where the distinctive and carefully balanced background hint of anchovies in the dressing — usually omitted by most restaurants — elevated the salad to excellence. My entrée of blackened snapper on a baguette accompanied by mashed potatoes and carribbean slaw was delicious. This is a kitchen that clearly loves to serve fish, and it shows. The blackening spices were applied sparingly and accented the sweetness of the snapper, and the generous portion was absolutely dead-on perfectly cooked. Our coffee was strong and freshly brewed and the dessert(Bananas Foster cake for me) was beautifully presented and delicious. Café Margaux recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. Serving top notch ingredients that have been lovingly cooked and served with panache, one hopes it will be around for another quarter century.

Delicious food and excellent service. Worth stopping by. The tomato basil was delicious, the Salami sandwich was huge and tasty. We ended with crème brûlée that absolutely the best ever. The services was 5 star level.

It is expensive but well with it. For a special occasion restaurant it is really good. I went there with the family. Had escargot, baked Brie, filet mignon, Scottish salmon, grouper and pineapple, crêpe cakes, chocolate cake, and blood orange cake. There were all excellent. It was quiet for a Saturday night. Service was good.

We stopped in for lunch during Christmas week. The restaurant was pretty full so we sat outside. The patio area is lovely with old-world style iron tables and chairs and a fountain as well as lush greenery. It all felt very European. I ordered the quiche of the day, Spinach and Cheese, which came with au gratin potatoes as well as carrot and zucchini ribbons. The quiche was quite good until I got to the crust which was under cooked and soggy in some parts. The carrots and zucchini strips seemed so simple but upon first bite were absolutely delicious. Perfectly tender, seasoned well and VERY buttery. The au gratin was very good as well but very heavy for a mid-day meal, in my opinion. My meal was 3 stars but my two lunch dates loved theirs. We ordered dessert for the table to share but I only needed one bite to realize it tasted stale and sickeningly sweet. However, the plate decoration was a great touch. Service was delayed at times but portions are good and prices are decent. Overall, I’d say Café Margaux is worth trying if you’re in Cocoa Village.
