Kelsey’s Pizza

I should’ve listened to my fellow helpers. The customer service was bad and why did they sell me some frozen salad?! Yup I am currently eating ice salad. So rude, so unprofessional and a waste of my gas and money. I will not be coming here anymore.

Good food. Love the Mini Greek Salad.

Prices are not too bad. Some items are a bit pricey but al in all fair.

I’ve only ordered take-​out from here so I can’t comment on the service inside. We also have not tried the pizza. I’ve ordered the vegetable lasagna a few times, which comes out very runny/​watery. The garlic bread and garlic knots are dry with very little flavor. My husband gets the chicken fettuccine Alfredo which is so easy to make, but their sauce leaves a strange after taste. Maybe we just haven’t ordered the ‘right’ things, but so far I’m not sure I want to keep trying the menu.

Poor service. Decent food. It took 15 minutes before our drink order was taken. Waitress was pleasant and nice but not very good. Seemed like most of their wait staff was inexperienced. The pizza I ordered was tasty but soggy. Dough didn’t seem cooked all the way through. Very oily. Pasta was ok. Not a lot of flavor but not bad. Portions were large. Got a lot for the money. I don’t plan on coming back.

Much better than the Kelsey’s on Courtenay. the pizza was good, place was clean. Will return.

We have lived in the local area and are constantly searching for good reasonably priced carryout. Had not tried Kelsey’s before so finally tried it. Just «okay.» Not so bad to call and complain about or take back but wouldn’t bother again. We got carryout. One item was a small double pepperoni pizza, and there was no liner (aluminum foil or wax paper) in the box, so the pizza had basically melded with the box. The crust was complete mush, but we scraped it out onto aluminum foil and heated in the oven enough to turn it almost back to a pizza crust. The other item was their Steak and Cheese bomb, though I did get the salami on the side as I have never had a steak and cheese with salami. There was a lot of steak, but it had been chopped to almost dust. The roll was Wonder bread quality soft and tasteless, and the steak was so pulverized it fell off as soon as i opened the wrapper. They had not even cut it in half, and when I cut it in half, the m eat when falling off. These were priced 12.49 pizza and 8.99 sub. Both were generous on amount of food, but complete messes and just okay as far as taste. Not recommendable.

Their food is awesome, but both times I’ve ordered take out I have been disappointed in customer service.

We started with garlic knots. Awesome and garlicky.
Wife had the spinach calzone– survey says wonderful.
I had the lasagna supreme-​came with 2 large meatballs, garlic bread, and salad. House dressing is an in-​house made Italian that tastes great. My meal was great as well.
Overall– both food and service were great. Did I mention that beer and wine were 2 for 1 while we were there so there was another windfall?
You should go eat here… Soon… Before McDonalds takes over everything.

Called in for take out just now and they placed me on hold without even asking me. Then hang up on me. Called back and they don’t answer. Horrible customer service.

Never eat in this place. I was recently waiting for a pickup order and witnessed a waitress put her hand in someone’s salad bowel to fluff it up and then walk into the dining room to serve the same bowl. She had NO gloves on and did NOT wash her hands prior!!!

Must try the Mediterranean pizza. Today would be a 5 but not the usual cheese. Husband and I split the small pizza and a mini Greek salad. Place is alway clean, nice friendly staff. We are definitely fans

I’ve eaten at the restaurant a few times had a great meal. When I ordered delivery today I ordered a chicken club sandwich and got a chicken burger… I ate it but had to take bacon off of it because it wasn’t cooked and was very fatty. I also ordered a chef salad with chicken. The chicken didn’t look like chicken and the «chicken» was on the side on pita bread. When I made the order it didn’t seem like the girl was very competent on how to take an order either, she had to call back to get my card number again. I am disappointed because when I go in to eat it’s great, when I order delivery I don’t get at all what I think I’m getting. Don’t order delivery just go in if you want to eat.

Do yourself a favor, please skip this place.
Pathetic pizza. They can ruin a pizza by overusing cheese. Could not finish one slice. The cheese will make you gag. We were starving when we reached there, but had to leave the food in between, may tell about the quality of food.

Wow !!! Flew in from Dallas and picked this hidden gem just by chance, and all I can say is BINGO !!!
Calzones rock, spaghetti is fantastic but their dressing stole the show !!!

Blah blah blah! Plain! No flavor! We had a table of 8 and not one person said their food was good. How is this place still open? Taste like TV dinners dumped on a plate. Go to the gas station and get a hot dog or burrito, it will be better than anything at this place.

Very slow Togo service, was only 2 slices of pie. Should have some ready when it’s lunch time, no. Will not return

The food is good but when I order a «giant» slice of pizza and it appears to me like a mini piece and I find myself hungry afterward, I can’t help but feel misled and disappointed.
Order the pizza, it’s good but don’t believe one piece is a meal.

I’ve been to this place over the years and I really do like it. I have never been there and had a bad experience — and that says something about the staying power of a restaurant.
All the food on their menu is exceptionally good. The hot stuff is hot, the cold stuff is fresh. I particularly like their «mini» chef’s salad, which is big enough to feed two people. They have a good variety of drinks, beer, and I think they have wine, but I’ve never partaken of any.
The service has always been efficient, if not overly friendly. I think it was in part of the young waitresses they had employed, but lately they employ a more seasoned wait staff that really knows how to treat and talk to customers.
Their desserts are awesome, from the customary cannoli, to they big and thick cheesecakes — you can’t miss.
Overall, I truly believe it is deserving of the five-​star rating — great food, good wait staff, fun, relaxed ambiance — whether just dropping in for a casual dinner or trying to unwind after a hectic day, this is the place in Port St. John to go.

We just moved to cocoa, got a flyer in the mail. Decided to call for a pizza. Girl on the phone was rude. Asked for a large pepperoni pie. She asks” pizza” or an actual pie!!! I then give address and she asks me to spell it 3 times! She then calls back 10 min later and says «I don’t think we deliver to your address». She asks me what road it’s off of and names roads. I tell her we just moved here. She then laughs and asks me to spell road name again! I Gave phone to husband. I then looked up the place on the Internet. They are located 6 miles from my house! Apparently they don’t want business.
