My husband and I come here every Saturday morning. The salt bagels are awesome and I usually buy a couple for the upcoming week. My husband likes the brisket melt or the patty melt. The staff is friendly, accommodating and very attentive. We love it! It’s a great hometown diner with great food. I highly recommend it to anyone.

I bought a dozen bagels for my coworkers and one of them said the bagel tasted the closest to a new York bagel she’s had since she moved here 5 years ago! Decent price and great customer service.

Ordered carry out & they were super fast. The food was great, I ordered a nova platter and a bagel and a side of bagel(nothing big) but it was all delicious & fresh. I ordered a large matzo ball soup a long time ago when sick and it was the bomb but I didn’t write a review. The person who took the order over the phone was also very friendly!

Quiet little breakfast place in the Publix plaza on Lyons just south of the Sawgrass Expressway. The bagels are extremely fresh and they have a great assortment. Was craving a classy eggs benedict and they did not disappoint. Thick slice of ham with a runny poached egg and COVERED in hollandaise sauce. Nothing beats the classic. Side of hash browns and Kennesaw Orange Juice which is the absolute BEST. I will be coming back here for quiet and NONCROWDED breakfast soon.

Food is poor quality and comparative to Denny’s. Service is good. Would not recommend coming to for any thing. Avoid spending money here and goto FirstWatch

Only did takeout but found their bagels to be much better than anything sold at your local supermarket and they have pumpernickel! Say no more… I’m sold!

Disappointed again! For a place that has bagel in the name, the bagels were sub-par(that means awful)! Bagels should be chewy, not crumbly like old dried bread. We got a dozen take out and threw them out after a few disappointing bites :(they just were not fresh or not cooked long enough, I don’t know. Also the owner has a smug attitude so no use complaining to him. Sorry, gave several chances and we wont be back.

I have been disappointed this past year searching for a descent breakfast spot then I found Big Bite Bagel. The food is amazing and my waitress Samantha really takes the time to make sure I’m ordering exactly what I want and how I like it. The owner is such a pleasant person and takes pride in her business and her customers. The cleanliness of this establishment is amazing. I now drive out of my way just to eat here with my wife. The loaded homefries are amazing and the corn beef hash is delicious!!! I would recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a deli that not only have the best food in all broward county but is also looking for a place where you are remembered and treated like you are family.

If I could give this place a no star I would! The bottom of the plates were filthy. Who looks at the bottom of the plate you ask? I just grabbed it to turn it around both plates had food on them! Asked for over medium eggs everything was ice cold! Hash browns pre cooked several times! Asked to have them cooked again and they came back cold! The booth was dirty also! The only reason they are busy is because it’s the only breakfast place around! Waitresses and staff were pleasant. will not go back!

A freshly born establishment located in the strip mall containing other big names such as Publix, Dunkin’ Donuts, Subway, and others. Its name? Big Bite Bagel and Deli. Walking into this, you could tell it was a restaurant in its youthful, learning phase. Servers did not look quite as if they knew what they were doing. Very disorganized and lack of communication between servers. We were told to sit one place then another. Even before that, there was a decent wait time for a seat, even though my party spotted multiple empty booths and tables. The booths, or at least ours, had very puffy backs and the part you sit on was slanted forward. This made it both uncomfortable and difficult to sit down. Then we received our menus, which had food smothered all over it. I was flabbergasted at how a waitress could just hand us dirty menus. It was awful. The text was barely legible and no matter what part of the menu I gripped on, my hands ended up sticky. Disgusting. Our drinks arrived fine, they were good. Our server seemed a little disinterested, but she listened to what we said at least. When ordering, she informed us that many items were out such as grits and cinnamon raisin bagels because they were swamped with customers. However, the restaurant did not look that crowded, which only puzzled me further. Shuffling my feet because of the discomfort provided by the chairs made me realize there was disgusting, half-eaten food all over the floor! After waiting nearly forty-five minutes in a barely crowded restaurant, the food finally arrived. I had ordered the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of bacon, as my request for grits was bluntly denied. There was three pancakes and four strips of bacon. The bacon was cooked how I liked it: not crispy burnt but chewy and flavorful. What I did not like was the amount of grease slopped onto it. The pancakes were very dry, but fluffy and delicious. They definitely required syrup, which tasted so sweet I almost thought it was honey. Then, I was awed by the price of my meal. For a three people meal, it was over forty dollars! With no choice, I paid the bill and stopped by the bakery which was a part of the restaurant to buy three colossal black and white cookies. The top layer of the black and white was divine, however, the thicker cookie layer was crumby and dry. A decent establishment, but not cheap and a long wait. If you have time and money, go for it. It was good food, but nothing too special.

I was entirely ready to give this place 2 – 3 stars based on an earlier experience I had here, but it was a while back and wanted to give this place another chance, as it’s right next to my house. I came here on a Saturday right around noon. Parking is, of course, super easy because this is in the Publix plaza, which is huge. The place was not empty but not crowded either. Definitely has that diner vibe. I’m actually not a fan of the décor, it is too easy to hide a lack of proper cleaning in the marbled counter tops of the style that they have. That being said, everything looked clean and organized. They were actively cleaning all the glass in the place when I came in, so they are plainly keeping up on it. Service was super quick, maybe because I came during a lull. I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes, which came out swiftly. I will say the waitress was excellent and came back with extra syrup after I ran out. They may not have been the best pancakes I’ve ever had, but still definitely very good, and for a reasonable price considering how many you get. I ended up finishing them up over the next couple of days there was so much. I also liked the little garnish of chocolate chips on top. If you’re looking for a quick breakfast at a diner style location, this may be the place for you. Reasonable prices, good food, and a lot of it.

First time here. Met friends for breakfast. Located in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. My wife had the Greek Omelette with hash browns $ 9.49. Said it was good but would have liked the feta cheese to cooked in the omelette, not just put on top. I had the country omelette(link sausage, bacon and American cheese) and grits $ 9.99. Omelette was good but the server(Karen) brought my grits long before I got the omelette so they were cold when it was time to eat them. I ordered wheat toast(which I had to remind her to bring) and she brought white and I sent it back to be changed. All in all the food was good and if I didn’t live 30 miles away, I would probably go back.

My most favorite breakfast place is closed on Sundays, so when we do Sunday breakfast I always jump on Unilocal to fill the void. I had bookmarked Big Bite Bagel awhile back when it was review of the day, so I figured this was as good a time as any to try. We arrived a little before noon and found seating to be no problem. I was happy that although there were only two of us were were given a 4 top table, as for some reason I always end up with a lot of plates at breakfast. Our waitress was quick to offer us beverages, but the service dwindled a little after that. I stuck with water, and my boyfriend got his normal coffee. Though I don’t drink coffee I was impressed to see that the cups here are a little larger than the average diner cup, so there is less time chasing down the waitress for a refill. We perused the menu for awhile and had decided by our waitress was no where in sight. We were finally able to place our orders, but it seemed like too long considering they definitely weren’t packed. I ordered my go to of late: lox, egg, and onion with an everything bagel. My boyfriend ordered the cheeseburger omelet as he had a few too many cocktails the night before and needed something greasy and substantial. The waitress asked if we wanted hash browns with that and we both replied yes, though that was a mistake because I always forget that I don’t like hash browns(the shredded ones) and I prefer home fries(the cube ones). The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. When the waitress set down the plates she noted that my boyfriends wheat toast was on the way… however, it never came. He was a little hungover and just happy to have the omelet, but I noticed. Unfortunately the waitress did not return until we had finished so there was no opportunity to correct the issue. As for my LEO it left a lot to be desired. For $ 10 the portion was quite small compared the the portion I’ve had for the same meal at a few other places in the area(I was acutally able to finish this one and Rita did not get any leftovers). As I noted I don’t like hash browns and these really weren’t an exception, though I won’t fault them for that. I should have read the menu more carefully and done home fries or grits. The bagel saved the meal by a long shot as it was fluffy on the inside, and chewy on the outside with the right amount of ‘everything’ coating. Though I’m not completely opposed to coming back and ordering differently, I don’t know that it will happen for awhile. My boyfriend was quite happy with his cheeseburger omelet, and that was a good portion, but my overall ‘meh’ feeling about my meal accompanied by the inconsistent service leave me to say 3 stars, and maybe I’ll be back if I’m in the area.

Hubby and I were in the mood for a good breakfast around 10am on a week day so we decided to Unilocal, and found this place! Atmosphere was clean and inviting. Service was quick and friendly! I ordered a breakfast special, $ 4.99 I got 2 eggs and home fries. I added a side of bacon and a bagel. My husband ordered a breakfast sand which on a bagel. And we had to try the potato pancakes. The waitress told us they had bagels in the oven so we got to experience a fresh sesame bagel fresh from the oven, it was scrumptious!!! The bread was fresh thick and soft. Hubs and I will for sure be back, maybe even for lunch too! We checked in and got $ 5.00 off our breakfast! The staff was super accommodating! Great Unilocal find!

This place is a nice find. It’s a clean, organized deli where you can sit down and have your meal brought to you. It’s wonderful for the days where I can’t deal with the chaos of other similar places where I am fighting to get in a long line then trying to find a table. It’s easy here, and the service is stellar. Our waitress was nice, incredibly attentive, and just generally left us with a great impression of the place. The food is good — it is a bit higher priced than the like places, but I will say, this is one of the more well kept delis I have been too. It’s worth it if you want to sit down and have more of a ‘diner’ like feel than the order-at-the-counter kind of deal. I ordered a large breakfast, and I feel like it was well priced for the amazing amount of food I got. The cheesey eggs were yummy and well cooked, and I loved their potatoes. They were well seasoned and had lots of the crispy burnt ends I love. The bagel was good too — I enjoyed it better than most and would come back for more. Mu husband weirdly got a grilled cheese, and it was pretty darn delicious. It’s a really good place with a lot to offer. There isn’t much to differentiate from other places other than the nice, attentive staff who really make the place.

Been to this place many times when it was Tesser’s, so I was surprised to find that things had recently changed. The service on a Friday morning wasn’t so hot. After we seated ourselves, it took quite a while before someone even gave us menus, and just as long to get our order taken. After that, things perked up. The food was very good, and prices more than reasonable. I hope they take the time to work on their service though.
