Service was great. Food was ok nothing fantastic. We had the biscuits and gravy and eggs and a pancake. The pancakes tasted like Bob Evans kind.

I ordered breakfast from here at 10:15 am and was quoted 30 – 40 minutes. An hour later I called to check on where it was and they told me it would be there any second … 15 minutes later they called me to say they would be here soon… Finally at 12 when my food still wasn’t here I just called and cancelled. 2 hours for an omelet is just ridiculous. Don’t recommend this place is you actually want to eat

Sunday morning, what to do??? BRUNCHOUT. Sounds good, so after perusing Unilocal for a spot, I decided on the Lemon Tree Café. One it sounded good, and two its right around the corner. We were seated immediately(note — do not sit next to the door on hot days) and right after we were seated the waitress came to take our orders, which at that point consisted of coffee. We both got omellettes — I got the italian, she got the irish — with hash browns and an english muffin. When they arrived I was in shock, they were enormous, in fact, both of us, who have healthy appetites, could not finish them. But they were not only enormous, they were really good. The italian is a wonderful way to shrink your arteries, with salami, cheese, garlic and tomatoes. Delicious. And my girlfriend loved her corned beef hash. Nice fresh hash browns with crunchy bits made it just right. The service was quite good with regular coffee fill ups I’ll go back, but I may not eat for a day before.

Also the chicken parm and the chicken salad melt with American cheese and bacon its definitely one of the best ones I’ve had! Under new ownership, so a little disorganized, but the food was super good — we ordered lemon ricotta pancakes, a tuna club, and another club/melt. Every single thing was AWESOME! The service was great, too — our server was on top of everything and very sweet. The owner came over and talked to us, which was nice. The décor and ambience reminded us of a New York type diner. We will return.

My family and I love to have breakfast here. We try to come every other Sunday and they never disappoint. The food is always fresh and delicious. It is always busy but somehow they always manage to take care of us in a timely manner. The pancakes are awesome and so are the home fries. Yummy.

Came here for lunch/brunch on a Saturday with 8 other people. While the food took a little while to come out(not unexpected for a large group), when it did come out, at least 4 dishes were wrong. Two were ordered with egg whites and came out with regular eggs. A wrap was ordered with avocado, but came out without and with a different cheese that was supposed to be in there. My gorgonzola salad with chicken was decent(3 stars), but nothing special. They did keep the coffee coming and did fix all the issues reasonably quickly, but someone clearly didn’t pay attention to the orders. I was just visiting(I live in Philly), so I probably won’t be back.

I had a little bit of down time between appointments, so I figured I would get a bite to eat and get some work done. I asked the waitress(whom I suspect of being one of the owners) if I could bring my equipment in and work for a while, she said absolutely, sit here as long as you want. I sat at a back table and ordered the Salmon, Spinach, and Feta Omelette, and I fired up my computer. The omelette came out quickly, and I munched on it while I worked away, it was a pretty solid omelette. The waitress came to check on me to make sure everything was good, which it was. Once I completed the eating of my omelette, the waitress came back to see if there was anything else she could get me. I’m not really a dessert guy, but figured I should order something else as I was using their establishment as my office. The waitress suggested a crêpe with strawberries and nutella, as it was relatively light and delicious. It was a perfect dessert for a non-dessert guy. Friendly service, good food, and fair pricing.

It’s Sunday December 6, 2015; my alarm clock goes off at 6AM… BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP. I shouted, «why is this happening»! That’s right! I have to be at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport by 7AM to pick up my brother and his fiancé who are arriving from their mini Las Vegas Vacation. I rushed out of bed, threw on some cloths and started driving north to complete my mission. The mission was completed and now I’m back in Miami preparing myself in order to head back north for a Unilocal event at noon that Blue(Broward/Palm Beach Community Manager) organized at Bangin’ Banjo Brewery. «I should definitely get something to eat before going to Bangin’ Banjo Brewery», I tell myself as I’m driving northbound on I-95. According to Google Maps I’m about 5 – 10 minutes away from Bangin’ Banjo Brewery therefore I immediately pull into the parking lot of a Burger King and open the Unilocal Application to look for nearby restaurants in order to have breakfast. I come across«Lemon Tree Café» and the restaurant’s name caught my eye. «Lemon Tree» is the name of Captain Fleming’s CSY(Caribbean Sailing Yacht). CSYs were very popular sailboats back in the day and were manufactured specifically for charters therefore they became very popular in the Caribbean. Ok, so I chose to have breakfast here because of some boat’s name and because it was conveniently located near Bangin’ Banjo Brewery, not because of the food pictures on Unilocal(I mostly just look at the pictures… I almost never read the reviews). Being that I was by myself I sat at the bar/kitchen counter. The service was phenomenal! The food was fresh and amazing! I had a veggie omelette with a side of fruit. The staff at the restaurant was excellent! Since I sat at the counter near the kitchen I got the chance to see the operations side of the restaurant. They were very busy because families were in here to enjoy Sunday Breakfast. The waitresses were running around frantically, distributing drinks and food items to their busy tables(this was fun to look at). The owner was saluting his regular customers as they walked in which I thought was cool. Overall it was a great experience. The shopping center where the restaurant is located has plenty of parking. The restaurant is very spacious and well lit. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thank you Lemon Tree Café for the service and amazing food. I would definitely visit again for lunch or even dinner just because. I’m pretty sure it won’t be happening any time soon since I don’t live in this area.

Coming from a place where there are more 24hr diners per square mile than any other state in the country(the vast majority serving great food), finding a place that serves a decent breakfast is challenging. Lemon Tree doesn’t serve decent food; it serves GREAT food. I’ve never had a bad meal here and the food was incredibly fresh. The staff, and the owner, are super friendly and make you feel like they’ve known you forever. They make sure to give you amazing service and impeccable attention to detail to make sure your experience is 5 star.

Food was great! Service was great! I got the breakfast skillet. Big portion! Great coffee.(Will attach pics) Unfortunately the system went down so they were unable to cash ppl out. The guy had a mini meltdown about it(as would anyone)… But still managed to be nice despite the fact that he was losing money… I offered to go get cash and pay it but he declined and said«its a gift»… I really like the place… Hopefuly he will get everything up and running. I would definitely go back

I was here about a year ago, but got take out. I was disappointed in my meal, the pasta was watery and had no flavor. HOWEVER, I just returned for dinner and decided to eat in. Everything deserves a second chance right? So my son wanted to sit outside, and that we did. It’s Florida so of course it wasn’t cool out, but the sun went down so it wasn’t bad. The waitress was very sweet and came to check on us often. My son got the kids cheeseburger with fries and it was HUGE! Seriously I could of eaten that as a meal for myself! I ordered the chicken stuffed with artichokes, which came with a side of mashed potatoes and veggies-EXCELLENT! I am not sure if the cooks have changed in the past year, but the food was amazing. My chicken melted in my mouth and it was so juicy with lots of flavor. *check in on Unilocal and get 10% off your check!* I will def be back here, this time I want to try brunch! :)

Had an awesome morning here at Lemon Tree Café. It’s the first time that I had their Chicken Noodle soup and I liked it. The creamyness of the soup, I enjoyed every last drop of my soup. The fried oreos where also good, my friends said the same. Service was kinda not good, I don’t know why but I am having this feeling that they can’t do anything good when it comes to their service.

The hostess seemed busy I asked for the table outside not having seen that there were three open tables when she told me it would be a long wait. we sat at the counter. haven’t sat at a counter for breakfast in forever. The hostess never gave us any menus so I borrowed the nice gentleman’s menu siting next to me. i asked if they had wifi and they do also Unilocal offered 10% off out billl thanks Unilocal!Randy got a breakfast skillet and I got 2 eggs and bacon with grits. love grits! We got our food and NOSILVERWARE. um…I guess they are a little busy… ricki who wasn’t our server helped us more than our server refilling our coffee and getting our silverware. The eggs were good… not hard to mess up sunny side up. I didn’t try randy’s meal. it kinda looked like a mashed up omelet .his had peppers, sausage and hash browns it looked good though. Our original server is now kinda obnoxious asking 3 times in 4 minutes is everythng ok? She should have brought us silverware instead of constantly asking within a minute if everything’s ok. to be honest it wasnt. The only server who is on the ball was ricki. I still have no clue what our servers name was. The place is busy.clean.the cooks are hustling orders out. I would come back and sit with ricki. she was great.

Another update… still not up to the standards as when this place opened. While they still have some of the best bacon around… the service was quite slow for only two tables of guests. The kitchen is slow and a bit unorganized. After 15 minutes of ordering we were told that they were out of their signature Lemon Ricotta Pancakes… and it was only 7:30 am. While the food came out hot and fresh, the portions on certain items have gotten smaller. Lemon Tree Café could really be great if they get back to how things were just a few years ago.

Great diner style restaurant behind the gas station on Lyons and Winston Park Blvd. Quick service and a nice staff. It was pretty busy when we showed up yet still only took about 10 minutes to be seated. The wait actually a good thing because I got a chance to check the specials on the board up front. I didn’t see them on the menu but then again, my mind was already made up. :) They use a generic type soda and the girlfriend actually likes it better than diet Coke(her usual drink of choice). I’m more of a tea kinda’ guy. I decided to go with the country fried steak and eggs, grits, and wheat toast. Everyone knows I love me some country gravy! Probably one of my favorite things on the planet. The girlfriend decided to keep it simple with some sunny side up eggs, sausage, and grits. This is what I expect when getting breakfast. We’ll be back.

I came here after class because every time I check into Starbucks, it pops up as one of the nearby locations. It seemed very quaint and I wanted to see what it was about. The reviews are very mixed, so I stopped by for a bite to eat anyway. They were not busy at all when I walked into the restaurant. They told me I could sit anywhere. Obviously on a beautiful, mild day in S. Florida, I chose to sit outside. They have a few tables for those brave enough to face the usually brutal humid weather. The menu has an exorbitant amount of options. I chose the broiled salmon, asparagus and mashed potatoes. The potatoes weren’t on the menu though. I wasn’t expecting those to come out on the plate. So, I have my unsweetened, iced tea and I waited for my food. I waited, waited and waited some more. After about 30 minutes, my waitress, Alexis, poked her head out to tell me that it wouldn’t be much longer because salmon«takes longer to cook.» Wait, what? Salmon doesn’t take that long to cook. Eventually, she comes back with my food. Two pieces of salmon? Well, okay then! The salmon was okay. I liked the crisp edges. Of course, I like the edges of many foods to be crispy. The potatoes were real, had the right amount of texture that I like. To my disappointment, the asparagus was overcooked and mushy. She brought out some more, but it was just as bad. She was apologetic about it, but I definitely didn’t want any more. I showed her my 10% off deal with my first check-in, which she took that and an additional 10% for the mushy asparagus. That was very kind and she didn’t have to do that. I want to come back to check out their breakfast soon. Maybe some of the other reviewers are correct and they are spread too thin trying to please everyone. It is a cute little restaurant and has the potential to be great. Only time will tell. Oh, fyi: The ladies restroom was fairly clean. Thought that was important also. ;-)
