Cuddy’s is a fairly typical sports bar with good food and reasonably priced drinks. They have live music on Saturdays which was a nice surprise. We came to Cuddy’s on a friends invitation to have a few drinks and check out the live band. I ordered a Yuengling(which they have on tap) and a few bourbons just to make sure I got the full bar experience. For food our table ordered the Quesadillas and a basket of fries. Bothe were good and fairly typical of bar fare. I thought the band was excellent but I was busy talking with friends so I didn’t listen too well. Overall the service was good, the food was good and the prices were fair. The crowd was of the older sort save a few young people in our party that were definitely attracting a lot of attention. Overall we had a good time and the bar tab wasn’t too steep. I’d come back if I were meeting some friends but I don’t think I’d go on my own. 3 Stars for solid food and drinks. You can’t go wrong here.

Cuddy’s re-opened yesterday. Most of the old staff have moved on. I ordered a draft Yuengling, but the tap system was not working yet. The food menu has been reduced again(no more chili dogs :-(), but the quality appears to be the same. I think the prices have increased making the value not too good. I had fettuccini with shrimp and it was well done. The shrimp were large and fresh. I asked the server if the name was going to change and she said that it was under consideration. There was only one other customer, so I can’t comment on service, although the bartender did chat a bit. The cook came out of the kitchen to see if I liked the food. The old Cuddy’s had bands on Friday and Saturday, but these were so loud that you had to shout at the staff to order. If the new owners get everything working, expand the menu, and keep live music to a comfortable level it will be an OK choice. Lowering the food prices will help too.

No one there to greet you at the front door. Made for an awkward first impression. Service was friendly but server needed some training. Blue Moon tap was not cold enough(John Taffer would not be happy). Food was surprisingly good — biggest quesadilla I ever seen. Stuffed with good things. Nice seasoning on the wings, extra veggies on the big order appreciated. Nice to have local live music.

unfortunately, we were there to see the band and a mexican woman from the trailer park across the street wanted to start a fight with us. will not be returning to this establishment.

Cuddys is definitely worth making your hang out. They have a friendly and fast staff, and Fridays and Saturdays they have live music and it gets really crowded but service is still good. The food is excellent and I’ve never been disappointed. The drinks are sort of expensive, and the deals aren’t that great. Otherwise, great neighborhood spot.

Tried the new Cuddy’s today. Greatly improved over the old Johnny O’Brian’s and Hub’s. Nicely redecorated and the food was very good. It’s worth checking out
