This place has delicious burgers. We were at a «bar» two doors down which I shall not name waited forever for water and to be waited on, waited 40 minutes for an overcooked dry burger. So we came to red rock and I had a perfectly cooked delicious burger served in a timely manner with a smile and they have tater tots. So skip the latest and the greatest where they have crappy service and mediocre food and come to red rock instead. You will thank me

Went last night with my boyfriend and his friends. This was only my second time but NEVERAGAIN! The service is the absolute worst! Our server walked away in the middle of taking our order. The drink order came out incorrect! She tried to charge us for a double when we didn’t order a double cocktail. The only manager I noticed on duty, seemed uninterested and had the personality and manners of some-one who has NO business working with the public! The quesadillas we ordered were dry and tasteless. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else in that shopping center. ANYWHEREELSE!!! Just awful, this place!

Went here with my husband and some friends for dinner and drinks. The drinks were not that on point, weak and not very tasty. My husbands food was average; components were missing and we had to ask for them to be brought out. My friend and I shared some apps and sides. The southwestern chicken eggs rolls were good but 9.99 for literally 2 egg rolls cut in half. The loaded tots were not loaded in the normal sense of cheese, bacon, sour cream, scallions etc… it had chili poured on top making it mushy. Atmosphere was ratchet as soon as the basketball game ended. Bathrooms both male and female reeked of urine all over. I don’t think there’s anything here that would bring us back…

Dan is the best bartender I’ve encountered anywhere, always treats you like your his only customer even in a crowded bar.

Pretty terrible overall. Been here a couple times and today was definitely my last. Food is mediocre … Waiter had ZERO knowledge today of what a gluten allergy was. Chef apparently didn’t either. Just not worth it.

Very cool spot. We ordered the salmon, veggies, Asian wings and sweetpotatoe fries. Yummy!!! Not to mention the great mojitoes and rum runner which was great and on special. The music was great, not sure if it was a dj or not. The wait time was perfect, however it took some time for the waitress to come over and take drink choices and entrée selections.

I literally just left and went across the way to bar louie. I had sat down at a booth with my date and 25 minutes passed and no wait staff had attended us. We didn’t even receive a glass of water while we waited. Loss of business and I will never be back or recommend to anyone.

Have you ever looked forward to eating somewhere and, by the time you left, you wondered how in heck the place was even in business? Yeah. That was my experience. A friend wanted to do their Easter Brunch with bottomless Mimosas. Ok, just to be clear, Mimosas are supposed to be champagne and OJ… these were really just OJ. Not to be outdone, I had the bottomless Bloody Mary’s which were really just bloody with absolutely no hint of merry at all. Of the 4 I ordered, one was laden with garnishments(and it was the only one that had any at all). The next one was actually pretty good. The 3rd was just plain tomato juice without even an attempt at making it even pretend to be a bloody mary(I didn’t even drink it) and the 4th was just as bad. Now, on to the food. I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was really more of a Benedict Arnold… a complete traitor the the dish. The Hollandaise sauce, if that’s even what it was, was liquid runny like butter or something… not anything recognizable as Hollandaise sauce by site, smell or taste. Two of my compatriots had steak and eggs, one ordered medium and the other medium well. Both came out as shoe leather. They reordered the steaks and ended up cutting and swapping pieces because the steaks weren’t even consistently cooked with parts being rare and parts being charred. The service was spotty with some complete disappearances leaving us wondering if we even still had a server. Twice we had to interrupt the manager who was spending all his time texting or on facebook or something in order to move our service forward. At one point another server took pity on us and cleared off a bunch of dishes. Had the place been slammed I could, perhaps, be a little more forgiving but it was like death valley in there!(Which, BTW, with a restaurant that empty I’m thinking they could at least clean the mirrors in the bathroom.) For this epic adventure I spent $ 90+ for me and my date.

Brian: Worse manager ever!!! A fight started outside. we had to leave our table and left our food and when we approached the manager to let him know about the fight, he didnt even care!!! I have been to Red Rock many times and today was the worse service ever. Brian is getting paid por being a joke and a manikin! He should be fired!

Just your typical bar food. The drink prices are cheap though. Nothing really to brag about. For me it’s a place to go that’s close to home if I’m just going out for a few drinks

The food was horrible the drinks were horrible. Sometimes you go places and you rely on the expertise of the server, well the server was not honest at all about the menu and food. Every item on the menu we asked about on the menu she claimed was so good, then when we mentioned to her it wasn’t good she said people normally only come for drinks. It was a group of 10people and no one enjoyed what they ordered. The pasta was overly spicy to a point of not being edible. We ordered chicken nachos that came out burned. We also order a burger that was just ok! They were nice enough to take the nachos off my bill! The wings were not bad!

It’s really hit or miss. Mostly misses. Food is mediocre, and there are a lot more places in the Promenade to get better food. They are good because they are open late and the drinks are cheap, but that’s about it. I’ve gone a few times, but each time I feel like it just gets worse. They are going to have a tough time with Bar Louie right next to them for competition.

apparently management would rather accuse me of making a fake review than accept responsibility for terrible service and mediocre food. I have better things to do than write fake Unilocal reviews. the only reason we patronized this horrendous restaurant on a weekly basis was because it was the only place open that late and still serving food. thankfully Bar Louie opened so we don’t have to have to ever set foot in this poor excuse for a restaurant again. hilarious to see the way«management» has handled complaints about this restaurant. check the other Unilocal reviews because I’m not the only one.

One star is for our server. She was pretty good and very attentive. The food was hideous. The water taste so bad that I refused afterwords to get a Coke, tea, or even a beer. This seems like a place that some guy with money built who has no clue about a restaurant or what people really want from it. The money is in the details. The water was awful, but it didn’t help that they were working on a light on the very high ceiling and the guy was throwing down electrical wires and cables that lay all over the floor on my way to the restroom. We ordered a margarita pizza, which was the lunch special, but the tomatoes were so watery that they soaked the flatbread and it was gooey. The Caesar salad was bland. We had soup with a Florentine style sauce and beans and spinach. That was the best thing we ate from Red Rock. We sent back Buffalo chicken sliders they were gross. The sauce, the grease, yuck. Again the details. The pictures on the wall were all crooked which bothered me because I feel like when people cut corners in restaurants, or get lazy, they’re probably lazy in the kitchen as well. And who knows if that’s clean or not? The presentation of the food was quite different, and nothing appeared to look particularly appetizing as well. We will not be back. Another one bites the dust…

Typical fried food fare, served by hardworking staff who are often overwhelmed. Come here if you enjoy watching sports while dining alfresco, but prefer to do so at an establishment that isn’t a member of the«Establishment». The quality of the Philly Cheese Steak can be inconsistent. However, the Fried Calamari is consistently bad. Drink options for those who don’t consume alcohol is very limited, unless you enjoy consuming large quantities of corn syrup.

Red Rock is part of the Coconut Creek Promenade shops, which means it’s close to a lot of stuff, which can’t be said for many places around here. It’s reasonably family friendly during the day and early evening and turns into a bit of a night life place later at night. Not spectacular but quite serviceable. The restaurant is pretty well divided into the bar area and the dining area. This helps insulate the dining area from some of the bar noise, which is pretty helpful. There’s also some outside seating as well. I’ll speak to the restaurant portion first. Pretty standard«American fare», with some bar favorites like wings and fish tacos. I usually end up getting a Cobb salad because, frankly, I need more vegetables in my life. The salads are pretty fresh with a good mix of ingredients. Not out of this world, but I’m not expecting a life changing experience from a Cobb salad, no matter where it’s made. I’ll sometimes get the chicken quesadilla instead. Pretty substantially sized but a little light on the chicken. This is more suitable as bar food, so might want to order it on that side instead. Wait staff can be a tad slow sometimes but overall not bad. They are friendly and that’s a plus. The hostesses are usually pretty good about seating you quickly. The bar side I actually find to be a bit quicker on service. The drinks can be weak, but it depends on the bartender. I try to zero in on one or two of the ones there that I know do decent pours. All of them are pretty friendly, so +1 for that. There’s a fair number of beers on tap, so if for some reason WOB across the street is not your thing you can stop in here for your fix of hoppiness. The bar itself is sort of a horseshoe design, and very long, so it can accommodate a fair number of people. It does get pretty busy here on the weekend, so the space is needed. Quite a regular gathering spot for some of the locals. I have a feeling Bar Louie that just opened is going to take a fair amount of their business, though. All in all, a decent restaurant/bar in the American mold. You’re not going to get knocked out but it’s decent for a stop in if you’re in the area.

The food is always tasty and the bread pudding is amazing. The only thing I’ve had here that I’m not a big fan of is the chicken parm sliders.

Not the best restaurant I’ve been to. Well, this is a step up from a bar. Comparable to, BJ’s or JMarks. This was my first visit and I was not impressed. We sat down, and even though our server came fairly quickly, for out drink order, it took a while, our food order took a while, and our appetizer came in with our food, and out bill took even longer, we had to flag another waitress to ask her for our bill. I ordered on 8 ounce filet mignon with a baked potato and a side salad. I asked for my steak medium well and it was well done, borderline burnt and it tasted charcoal, not worth the $ 25, The potato felt like it had been sitting around a while. I didn’t send my dish back because we were in a hurry to catch a movie. We initially had plenty of time but since everything took so long, we had to eat in a semi rush. I don’t think I would come back, but if I do, I would just order drinks and maybe an appetizer, not a full entrée. My husband’s burger was very good according to him :)
