Pediatric Associates Coconut Creek

Dr. DeLeo has been my children’s pediatrician for 14 years and I could not ask for a better doctor. He has always been amazing with my boys. He’s always on the mark with his diagnosis and extremely professional with a humorous side to him that my boys actually look forward to seeing him. Five stars all the way!

Yes the staff here is very nice but when you are waiting over a hour to be seen when you have an appointment, it no longer matters. I truly don’t understand why Doctor’s offices overbook. Dr cannot be in 4 rooms at once so don’t book 4 people for the same dr and the same slot. It’s unrealistic and bad customer service.

We saw Ilysa Howarth! Super sweet & gentle with our baby! I think I was in tear more than my child! Office was clean. Not a long wait. Since I am a 1^st time mom I have a lot of questions. Since my baby is only a week old, I’ve called 3 times about a concern & each time a medical assistant got back to me in a timely manner with great advice! I live near 2 offices so it’s convenient.
Only negative is there were a lot of people there at the time & I felt rushed but other than that this is where I’m choosing to take my baby.

Don’t worry about making an appointment because you’ll be seen an hour later. Just walk in probably get seen faster.

Don’t get me wrong, the doctors are great here… Especially Dr. Harrison since my hubby has been seeing him since he was born, but the lack of communication skills from the staff and the fact that you don’t get the option to see the first available doctor for a well visit is terrible! My son’s doctor was seeing sick kid after sick kid and all their siblings who did not have an appointment. I had to ask several times while holding a crying baby who was patient and happy when we got there up until we had been waiting for 40 minutes in the lobby then another 40 minutes in the room after measurements were taken. The least they could’ve done was have my son see someone else. They just kept saying that we were next… So we left since my child after two wet diapers and he was due for a nap was through with waiting as I was as well. I am giving Coral Springs’ office another shot but with constant lack of communication, I might take my son elsewhere.

Let me start by saying I am new to pediatric associates. My kids pediatrician was independent for over 35 years, dr. James deleo, as a matter a fact he was my pediatrician when I was a kid growing up in coral springs. I wasnt to thrilled to hear he had sold the practice to pediatric associates and was going to be working for them. I was afraid of the corporated socialized medicine side especially for the kids. But I must say he is still the best pediatrician in my book. Hasnt lost that old school doctor manners that I was always acustomed to. He dosent rush you in and out like a factory, even though when I go in there theyre always packed. Dr james deleo is fantastic and my kids love going there even if theyre afraid of «shots»

I made an appointment over the phone and was given Dr. Mohamud Verjee. I took my daughter to Pediatric Associates in Coconut Creek, this was the WORST experience I’ve ever had since I gave birth to her. Appt Time 4:10 we were seen At 6:00pm (2 hour WAIT). We had some blood work done only on by MY SUGGESTION ONLY and were told that she has high cholesterol. The doctor dismissed any conversation about this, instead rushed us out the front door since by now all the front office staff had left for the day. No one was there to make a Well Visit or Referral. When we asked questions we were told we don’t have time to go over that. WOW!!! I am now seeking a NEW doctor for my child. This is deplorable service!
