This is a great place for a drink in Coconut Grove, especially before a movie! When it’s hot outside, make sure to sit under the misters and get a passion fruit daiquiri. It also has a great happy hour!

Good place to grab a drink before a movie. It’s summer, and it’s freaking hot. They have misters and many cold drinks. Hint: frozen drinks are better here than at Fat Tuesday!

In was craving Italian so bad! So I whipped out my phone and consulted with the most respected and trusted application aka Unilocal! Typed in Italian and guess what there was plenty of options however the reviews and pictures Reeled me in! Not knowing the city of coconut grove I went the responsible route and booked a reservation through open table just in case they were really busy hence it being Memorial Day weekend! Exact opposite we were seated eighth away and as soon as you check in you get a free glass of champagne! Yippee skippy! Waiter recommended some of the dinner specials but we listened and still went with things off the traditional menu! Lasanga and the chicken parm! Both were pleasantly delicious and i wouldn’t see why i wouldn’t want to try it again if i were provided another opportunity!

Meh! We wanted to grab a bite before catching a plane and the menu looked good. Unfortunately, it took over 45 minutes to get our food so by the time we were served, there wasn’t much time to eat. The server came out at the 30 min mark to say there was a computer glitch and asked me what I ordered. That should have been a sign to pay for the drinks and head out. I’m giving 3 stars because the coconut mojitos where off the chain!

Im a local and I have been to plenty of the restaurants in the are; and I gotta say I thought this place was going to be a tourist trap, but to me it wasn’t. I had the bolognese which was delicious and my husband had the lobster ravioli that was also really delicious. If you’re into Italian, definitely give this place a shot. The location and service is super convenient as well.

With my kids. We decided to come to the grove to walk around. I always like a nice walk outside. Well of course on a Friday night every place is packed at the grove. But Bice in the heart of coconut grove always has tables. We were seated right away. We sat outside, great spot to just be part of what is going on. Our waiter was very nice and pleasant. The inside of the restaurant is nice and cozy if on a date. If on an awkward date outside is probably much better to break the ice. We ordered a linguine with Alfredo sauce for the picky little one. A chicken salad for me which was perfectly seasoned and a cheeseburger with fries for Khya. It was very tasty. My glass of Merlot was great and the dessert to die for. Yummy ! I’m only giving it a 4 star because the service was a bit slow, but hey you can people watch.

Ended up here randomly and it was a good surprise. Service was good and so was the food. We both got the lunch special with pasta and quality was there for reasonable price.

Great atmosphere at the outdoor tables and a perfect menu. It helped our whole party. And the service was very friendly all around. I came back two days later for brunch and once again the service was really good. Very relaxing environment. If I lived here I’d be back more.

DOGET: ceviche You can’t go wrong with their happy hour, which starts at $ 4.99 a plate and goes up to $ 5.99, plus 2 for 1 drinks. Also — don’t forget that lovely Unilocal coupon for a free Reisling! ;) We tried every happy hour plate available and enjoyed them all! Next time, I would like to try a full meal because their pasta entrees sounds delicious! They also had great service, with everybody there attending to you. The bartender welcomed us in and checked up on us, as well as the waiter.

Don’t fall for the offer of a free glass of prosecco. I checked in and then showed the prosecco coupon to the waiter, and he refused to honor it, citing some reason that I didn’t understand. Seemed he just didn’t feel like honoring it, as the coupon doesn’t mention any restrictions. There’s also a big poster that says you get 20% off your check if you show that you have tickets to a movie at the movie theatre nearby. I tried using that discount and he also refused, and gave us attitude to boot. The food was good, but the service was poor. I won’t be going back.

Great time at Bice Bistro! The bartender Jonathan was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks. He offered the best of the food selection. Also, I will point out the manager Jenifer. She approached us with pleasant attitude. Loved the place and will be back!

Had to wait for ages for food and drinks. Not a place to recommend when traveling with a small child as the wait was way to long. Our impression was that they forgot our order. But by looking at the other guests it was not only us who had to wait. All in all, we were there for a quick meal, but ending up spending almost 2 hours. Hopefully this can be reasoned by the festival making the place extra busy(but…)

The average 2.5 rating is par. Sat at the bar for happy hour on a Saturday evening and had to wait 45 min for 4 wings. Time wise id give the restaurant a 1.5 and service 3.0. I saw 1 person leave the bar who wasn’t addressed within 5 min and a couple at a table who waited 10 min before leaving. Wings were tasty and I would have them again. Service needs work

Very pleasant waiter. Great food! Perfect setting for a quick lunch! It is in the middle of coconut grove walk wich makes it very easy to go from lunch to shopping…

Came to the grove with my sister who hasn’t been here in years. We decided on this place for its convenience. Smack dab in the middle off coco walk. The main restaurant was just a few yards away that is more formal and inside. Although it was hot out, they had fans with water mist. Aaah! What a relief that was. Unless you don’t want your hair to frizz. Our waiter was sweet and attentive. Since I checked into Unilocal!!!We got a complimentary glass of champagne. Nice!!! I had a personal pizza and my sister a Caesar salad. Food wasn’t that out of this world just ok. But we had a nice afternoon. Primed and ready to shopping. Lol. Never shop after a glass of champagne. The sky is the limit!!! Definitely will come back and maybe try the main restaurant.

My boyfriend and I came here because we wanted to grab something before watching a movie. I didn’t expect much because it was in the middle of the mall. Also, there were just few people in the restaurant that night. It turned out they served very delicious pizzas. And we ordered one mango Mojito and one piña colada. Mango mojito was perfect, but the other one is just okay. The service was very good. In honest, it should be a tourist trap, but it’s not, so I gave it very high points. However, I took some points off because there were mosquitoes…

Never had considered going to this place because it seemed like a tourist trap, only decided to come after the movies when I saw that Chili’s is closed for business. The best part about our experience was the live music going on outside, the performers were on point and wasn’t too loud to drown out the conversation. The worst thing about our experience was the service. The server was so slow it took us about 2 hours to get through our meal even though all we ordered were apps and a dessert. Instead of paying $ 2 for parking we ended up paying $ 9 because we went over the 4 hour parking limit for the movies. The ceviche is very good and a quite generous portion even though the server told us it was small. The hawaiian pizza was OK, the pineapple is not fresh and the ham was a bit flavorless. The tiramisu was not good. Ladyfingers were stale and coffee and chocolate flavors were barely there. Not a bad experience but they need to fix a few things or they’re gonna keep losing customers gradually.

So I love the location of this place and they usually have some kind of drink special so if that’s what you want it’s a great place. However the food is a different story. Unfortunately any of their pasta dishes I can make at home with better flavor. The bread from the bruschetta was soggy and overall not very tasteful. The service is friendly and nice that’s the reason why I don’t give them less stars. Hope they work on that food because the spot is prime.

I was in the area on business looking for a quick bite and their lunch menu promo caught my eye.(Anything prosciutto and I’m in!) of course I got to the Panino Caprese(and a lunch cocktail– DUH!) and really liked it. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because I didn’t see the pesto spread so it was dry. I asked for balsamic & some EVOO to doctor it up and it was perfect! Chef note— add a balsamic glaze to that bad boy and it would be PERFECTION!!!

This place has gone down in quality if you ask me. I had their bruschetta the other night and the bread was so stale even the olive oil it was drenched in could not save it. I agree with the other Unilocalers that this place just ain’t what is use to be. Sorry Bice, but you need better food in order to compete with some of the great restaurants in the Grove.

Tourist trap, to be avoided. Especially considering that there are a few handfuls of other bars/restaurants within walking distance of this place that do what Bice does, but better. Bice is located on the bottom level of CocoWalk in Coocunut Grove. It’s in the middle of this plaza, at the base of the main staircase that comes down from the 2nd level and from the Cinemas, and most everyone walking to and from the Grand Avenue section of CocoWalk’s parking garage passes by Bice, so it’s an excellent spot for people watching. As for us, a friend and I stopped here for a beverage at just after midnight on a Friday night. They had a limited menu available, and a few displays with some of the usual drinks that are geared towards tourists that are primarily here to drink and party(i.e. the huge margaritas and daiquiris that are served in oversized«birdbath» style glasses with 2 bottles of Corona placed upside down in the glass as well, etc). I ordered a strawberry margarita. The server asked if I wanted the regular or large, which was 16 Oz. I ordered the large. My friend ordered an unsweetened iced tea(the regular non-alcoholic kind). The drinks were delivered within a few minutes, which was great, but when I saw the bill I was a bit shocked… The iced tea was $ 3.50, the margarita(which was mostly ice and quickly became mostly water) was $ 18.00. They also added an automatic 17% gratuity + tax. In the end, we were charged nearly $ 30 for one glass of(non alcoholic) iced tea and one cocktail. I guess it’d be different if this was a trendy club or bar, but it’s not. It’s an outdoor bar/restaurant with a few tables and umbrellas in the middle of a mostly deserted, formerly hopping CocoWalk.

Sorry Bice, you’re due a downgrade! Much like the rest of the grove, it has gone downhill since 2010. I came in today after an architectural tour, and figure it would be a nice spot to catch the Dolphins’ game. Much like the Phins, my experience at Bice was underwhelming. Let’s start with the chicken wings — a Sunday football staple — that were more breading than meat. The Hawaiian pizza was a again a little heavy on the cheese, and the mojito tasted like pure alcohol, like they were trying to dose me :) Seriously, I was sleepy after going through half of it. That is not supposed to happen with my favorite libation! As others have mentioned, my waiter only came around once. The bill — for what I had — felt overpriced. Mercifully, automatic tip wasn’t included though the quantity was handwritten on the receipt. I’ll pass!

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. So, it’s around 4PM, and I’m hungry because I missed lunch. Went to the Grove to see if I can find a pretty decent place to eat. It’s too late for lunch and too early for dinner, so I was worried I was going to be walking around aimlessly in the heat looking for a place to eat. I parked and went down the stairs and this place was available and the hostess seemed very welcoming. They were willing to seat us right away and they had a 2−4−1 special, how could I decline? The menu is a little scarce. Not a whole lot of Paninis(I was in the mood for a good sandwich). A pretty good selection of pasta plates. I picked the Panino Alla Tagliata and my friend picked the Lasagna. The lasagna was amazing! I tried a little bit of it. The meat tasted home made and the sauce was really good. My Panini was great too! The meat used was amazing. We also had the broschetta as an appetizer. Very garlicy but I really liekd that. The drinks were great too. It’s a little pricey for my taste and portions were ok. Overall the place is good and worth checking out if you’re in the area. It’s definitely worth checking out during their happy hour.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch one weekend, and I have to agree with many of the other reviewers–«Just okay» explains this place perfectly. We started with the Cozze alla Tarantina(Mussels in tomato sauce) which were actually pretty tasty. For my meal I ordered the BLT Con Pollo without the bun, and the waiter was happy to ask the chef to replace the bread with lettuce without that even being an option on the menu. The food was pretty good, but the thing I really didn’t enjoy about Bice was the touristy-fast-paced-vibe. It seemed like the staff was being pulled in all sorts of directions– but I guess that’s what you ask for when you eat at Coconut Grove :)
